A Moon Goddess Tale: SSF

Sengerys Pov:  Salina's been under for awhile now. I have nothing else to do so I have been sitting watching her to make that she is not in any distress. Once in a dream like state she can not mind link me the same as usual.  So for my own peace of mind I watch her. We are close she and I. Our love for Levand made it so long ago. Now she is as much a mother to me as my own. I heard a knock at the door. I didn't want it to wake her so I hurriedly opened the door.  Standing there was a young werewolf with bags of food and drinks in her hands. Finally something to snack on.  "Food ma'am" I heard as soon as open the door. "I will gladly take those, thank you." I responded in kind grabbing the bags. The young werewolf's eyes looked anxious while the rest of her looked calm. "Any update on the Alphas possible appearance? As you can see my friend is resting as the journey has been long. I hope to not disturb her for a bit if the Alphas not coming anytime soon." I really didn't care if the Alpha came or not. I was bored and this was a werewolf I had yet to engage. Her eyes really bothered me. I was looking at them and felt like I looked into those eyes many times before. I knew I had never met her so I was unsure where that feeling had come from. "The Alpha is busy ma'am. I am not sure when he plans to visit. I am not privileged to his routine. I am simply helping out the kitchens briefly. It was late and the Chef was behind in his duties therefore the bagged lunches was a quick offer ma'am. The Chef apologizes for something so simple to break your fast with. I offered to deliver them so that the food was not delayed any further. Tomorrow he will be better prepared to serve you a hot meal."  came the servants response.  "Please, tell your Chef all is well and thank you for fare. When you are starved from a long travel all fare looks like a feast." I replied and gave her a small small and a wink. She returned the small smile. She had made sure I did not touch her when grabbing our food so I offered her my had in a friendly jester. "My name is Sengery and who might I compliment for this kindness at this late hour?" The servant was hesitant but shook my hand, "Sage ma'am"  Sage's Pov: "Food ma'am" Sage said. Looking every bit the trained servant. Her eyes were hungrily devouring what little she could see from the door. She didn't dare barge in or invite herself in. Not knowing how the witch would react. The woman before her she knew was one of the witches'. She looked normal to her. She wore a colorful silk smock style  sleeveless dress that hung just below her knees. Her hair was jet black. She was petite in form. No tats or piercings. Nothing extraordinary to look at. She was a pretty woman but nothing screamed "witch" like the stories we had been told when were pups about how ugly and evil witches looked.  "I will gladly take those, thank you." she grabbed the bags in my hand. I made sure to avoid any direct contact with her. I could feel my wolf stirring inside and it felt like she was trying to warn me that we shouldn't be here. Her pacing around in my head was too distracting. I couldn't focus on what we were saying. We made small talk briefly. The witch then did the oddest thing in offering me her hand to shake. I know its a small gesture but we werewolves do not like to touch or be touched unless we are in contact with our mates. My wolf isn't helping as she was giving off warning signs. Now she is urging me to make contact. Werewolves are super emotion jealous beings when it comes to a mate. I don't have a mate yet. My wolf  I grabbed her hand and shook it. "Sage ma'am." was all I could think of to say. I had my feel of looking at the witches' The excitement from earlier knowing a witch was here was still the same. If the Alpha hasn't decided what he is doing with them yet I have time to think about if their presence will be useful. First things first to get to Kali and let her know what I was planning.  I snatched my hand back as it began to warm up. The energy warming my hand caused my entire body to shiver. "What was that witch!' I grabbed my hand and rubbed it while staring at the witch called Sengery. I could have sworn that my had was beginning to glow slightly. "I, um, am not certain what that means, We lost connection when you snatched your hand back. My first thought is that my spirit recognizes a kindred spirit. You are not a true blood are you Sage?" "Yes the hell I am a true blood!" Came my fierce reply. "What ever you were trying to do to me witch I will not allow!" I responded with a low growl reminding her that I am indeed a were wolf. My k9's briefly extended and with drew. The warmth from our contact was still burning.   "Sage, I know that you have no reason to believe me. I did nothing but shake your hand. Had I wanted to do more I have the power to do so. You are not ready to talk to me as you do not know or trust me. When the time comes that you are ready to explore what that was a sign of. You come find me. I will do my best to get you the answers you will want. Just know that the answers we get are not always the answers that we want. I don't know any more than you do. I do have the knowledge to seek the answers out. Its what I am with in my coven. I am a seeker." I wasn't staying to hear more. I don't know much about magic. If I had to explain what I felt it was energy. I have often heard the elders discuss magic as energy. She is right I don't trust her. I turned and walked out.
