Sages pov:

That was the strangest thing that I have ever experienced. I wanted to see the witches'. I guess I got to see the witches'. Ok, so I got to see one of them. I have never been spooked by anything before but she has me rattled to say the least. My hand is still throbbing. I don't know why she would bother messing with me. Truthfully I don't know what to think. I don't know who to talk to either that I trust. If the Alpha heard that the witch could have possibly cast a spell on me he would just kill me. 

Geesh, all I wanted was to make a plan to get the hell out of this place. The Blue Moon Ceremony is still a week away but I don't think after this that I can afford to wait. 

"Kali, where are you?!" I mind linked Kali again. Still no response. I really need to talk to her, 

I finally made it back to our room and no Kali. Ugh, I fell back on the bed closed my eyes and tried to go over what just happened. I am just over reacting, right? I keep telling and asking myself that. My hand is the same. I began to laugh thinking how crazy I must have sounded. It's late and I am just going to lay here and wait for my roomy to get in. 

"Sage we need to talk!" Came from my wolf. 

"Hello wolf. You picked a hell of a time to want to talk." 

"You know that I am a week early. We are not suppose to meet until next week at the ceremony."

"Wolf, I am trying to find a way for us to get away from this pack. I wanted to stay until next week just in case our mate was here. I hate being in his pack. I know you have been around listening to what goes on around us even if you don't participate. Am I just over thinking meeting the witch."

"That's the reason you and I need to talk now instead of later. The witch did not cast any spell on us. There is more going on to us than what of either of us is aware of.  You are right we need to get out of here. Not because of the witch. I can't explain it to you but trust me when I tell you we need a good plan to get us out of here. We can not leave until after the ceremony. No, our mate is not here. Of that I am sure. I can't help you to protect us until after the ceremony. I can feel our powers trying to surface. We will not have full use of our werewolf power until the ceremony takes place." my wolf continued. "The Alpha is not after Kali. He is after you Sage. He has plans to force us to become his Luna after the ceremony is over. Jasmine was caught by the Alpha. He sexually abused her. During the time that he was violating her he was growling out our name. He beat her after he violated her. Growling and drooling while telling her that she was not worthy to carry any pup of his. He's decided to choose a mate since the Moon Goddess has not given him one. Thank Goddess he knows nothing about us. About what we really are. I can tell you that we are special. What makes us special will be revealed to everyone at the blue moon ceremony. We have to be there. Our destiny will be revealed at that time. We need to make plans to flee as soon as the ceremony is over. The Moon Goddess has gifted me with the ability to talk to you now. She said that we should return to the witches' and seek their assistance to get out of here. We have to be present for the ceremony. I believe the witches' can assist us in being present with out any one being the wiser that we are present. If we can hide that we are there they can help us to escape before anyone realizes that we are gone. The Moon Goddess has pushed them in our direction on purpose. "

"Wolf, Jinx right? Fine I will do what we need to do, You are going to have to help me get us thru this. I have been training some with Kali but I am not a trained warrior. I am swift of foot and can out run most that are in this pack. Most do not train. Leaving most of them weak. That will be to our advantage."

Luthers appearance:

I have put off seeing the witches' long enough.  I don't know what makes them thing that we would have one of there kind here. I have no use for any witch with in my pack. The last warlock I had here I trusted to help me gain my mate back. Instead he disappeared with one of my wolves. I took care of that. No one betrays me. They are not to be trusted. I would just assume end them all. It's late and I want to see what these two want. That grand daughter must be something for them to be brave enough to cross onto my pack lands. I have made it known that  I do not like to cross lines with other beings. I have left enough dead bodies lying at the border of my lands to get the point across.

I walked thru the last set of stairs to where the witches were. I walked closer to the door and just stood there. I started to smash the door in when the door suddenly opened and an old woman, one of the witches' stood there staring at me. She bowed low stood back up and smiled. I am thinking of ripping her throat our and she is standing here smiling at me like an i***t.

"Well witch what brings you here to Coldmoon? Then tell me why I should not kill you for being stupid enough to come into my territory with out my invitation."

"Thank you Alpha for taking the time to meet with me. I know that it is with out notice that we have arrived. I am old and travel weary. Your servants have been treating us well while we waited. I know that we are in a delicate situation with you. I assure you that I, that we are merely passing thru all of the pack lands while on the hunt for my grand daughter. You see she is lost. She is young and she is all alone. Her father and mother have passed. I have just learned of her. She does not even know that I am hunting for her." the witch replied. "Alpha you must understand what it is like for me. My son is dead and I just learned that I have a grand daughter,. I did not know where to begin so I have been every where while on the hunt for her. You pack just happened to be along the path of my journey. With all the dead ends we have reached I took a chance coming here. Would you not do the same for your pup if you had one? Your pack has made it clear to us that you do not allow witches to reside in your company so I beg pardon. We will be on our way as soon as you release us to do so."

I was doing my best to sound meek. This Alphas aura was black. He is pure evil. I didn't need to start a pissing contest with him just yet. I am sure the time will come but I know how to play my cards. Now was not the time to reveal that I had more strength than he did. I will smile smugly at him when the time comes and remind him of who is the stupid one among us. 

"No witches' or hybrids are amongst us witch. I will think upon what you have said. Just so you know,  I have no use for magical creatures. On the morrow I will let you know what I have decided to do with you two. Until then you two will remain here out of my way while I decide!" and he turned and walked out. I could hear him growling. He was tempted to say more I could tell. I was grateful that he didn't finish what he wanted to say. 

Sengery had been slightly behind me the entire time. While standing statuesque behind me I could feel her preparing herself to act if this Alpha had forced her hand to do so.
