The start of the week saw Elizabeth back at work. It would be her last week in women’s lingerie and she was feeling quite melancholy. Before leaving, Harry had given her the contact details of a solicitor who dealt with workplace grievances as he had decided, upon hearing what was happening at Blooms, that she was being treated unfairly. Elizabeth put the scrap of paper in her kick-knack drawer, where all the rubbish went. She had resolved not to make a fuss, not to cry or complain, after all it was just a job and certainly not worth making herself stressed and miserable over.
