‘Are you sure you’re okay?’ Elizabeth stared with concern at her friend. ‘You took a real tumble.’ ‘I’m fine.’ Melody waved a dismissive hand, the bracelets on her wrist jangling together. ‘It’s you I’m worried about. Hell, we’ve all been worried about you.’ The two of them were sitting in a corner of the dining room on cold plastic chairs. ‘How did you find me?’ Elizabeth asked. ‘Your neighbour, the nurse? I bribed him with a pair of Rebels tickets.
