The gig at Barrow-In-Furness was another resounding success. The club had been packed full of people of varying ages and the atmosphere was electric. They left the stage and were heading back to the changing room when Elizabeth noticed a few young women hanging around.
‘Are they after autographs?’ she whispered to Melody.
‘Nope!’ Melody shook her head. ‘They’re groupies.’
