The building where the auditions were taking place was in fact a huge open-floor warehouse which had been turned into a dance studio and gym. Enormous mirrors adorned the whole of the back wall and the other walls were painted in different coloured blocks. It was all very bright and modern and definitely reeked of the minimalist decor. There were no seats, but it was packed full of people sprawled in various poses.
Loud music was blaring from a hip-looking sound system and the people who were standing were dancing and singing along to the cheery pop song, clapping and waving their hands. To Elizabeth it seemed surreal. She felt as if she was on one of those talent shows that were so popular on the television.
