The handicapped Alpha

Chapter 1

It was like any other day when the Alpha and Luna of hotspot pack decided to take their son with them to the Alpha and Luna conference in Moonlight pack, it was a three days meeting. Their son was only 8years old. which the drive was full of laughter and jokes, Alpha Joel and Luna Faith with their son Zion sat on the back seat of the Suv that was driven by their friend and Beta Mathew. As they were aproaching the Moonlight pack they were attacked by a group of rogues which left them outnumbered, and the attack was brutal that it left Zion with no leg, lost both parents and was left to die. He was in and out of concious and help was received after a couple of hours and sadly Zion had already lost his leg.Was taken to a nearby pack to get medical attention, Zion was released from the pack hospital and taken by his uncle Brandon and his Aunt Lucy, the couple has 2kids a boy mike who was the same age as Zion, and Mimi who was only 3years. the uncle took over hotspot pack as Zion was still a pup and not fit to take over. however as time goes Zion was not treated accordingly in his home.

Zion

its my 15th birthday today and im yet to learn about our laws, but my challenge is my uncle has changed towards me and each time i ask him about my tittle and me coming of age he does not seem happy or keen to help me with the wolfen laws,i feel like an outcast in my home, being without a leg really does draw negative attention at times.My uncle thinks that im not fit to take over Hotspot pack due to my situation and has been saying it would best if the tittle is passed to his son mike. have my artificial leg and im an animal in the training field. Do have my good and bad days but my coping mechanism is gym and training, have two of my best friend Jason he is the Beta's son which me and him have something in common, we both lost a parent on the day of the accident, we have been in each others lives since we were pups and have grown together as siblings which i rather feel at home at Jason place than i do in the packhouse. Jason's mom was shortly kicked out in the packhouse once a new beta was announced, was assigned a new house in the pack and its mostly were my time is spent.

Was invited to dinner by Maggie, Jason's mother to celebrate my birthday, as the future alpha one would have she-wolf throwing themself at you, however in my case its a bit different as most say they want a complete Alpha not a short payed Alpha so ive been told.

Brandon

As i sit in my office it dawns on me that Zion

will be coming of age the little ungratefull spoilled brad will want to take over from me and were will that leave my boy because he has as much right to be alpha as Zion does. my boy has been traing with me to learn about our ways and how to behave like an alpha. My mate insist on getting rid of the brat but my gamma has been my brothers best friend and gamma which he has been giving me bad vibes when it comes to Zion, he is my Gamma but still loyal to my brother. I dont trust him either and when i finish about zion his next. will wait till the mating ceremony which will be in 2months time then will solve my problem.lucy was not happy that Zion was still living in the packhouse and was coming of age to claim what was rightfully his.

Zion

As he walk to jason house he would come across some of the pack members which some would show him respect and some just passed without acknowleging him as their future alpha.

He would sometimes wish that he also would have died with his parents because since he woke up from the pack hospital he has never got any joy. Jason's house came to view and he stood there in there thinking if it was not for Jason and his mom were would he be celebrating his birthday.Door open and he put up a brave happy face to his best friend and smilled at him as he ushered him inside, mom look who i found sneacking outside our house hey i was'nt sneacking i was admiring the view.Hey you two stop teasing each other and come help me set the table, they did as they were told, mirrian had cooked a storm for zion's birthday and to them it was their tradition to spend birthday evenings together, they sat and ate while joking amongst themself till it was time for zion to go back to the packhouse, jason will always ask him to stay over they have prepared a room for him but he would always turn the offer down. they said their good byes and he left the house. As he was walking back he had the strange feeling as though someone was watching him. looked on all his dirrection but found nothing or no one in particular. as he entered the pack he found one of the old warriors who would train with his father the late alpha and he bowed his head and told him happy birthday young alpha, was happy to know that some of his people do acknowledge him as their alpha, thank you Grant and been meaning to speak to you as i would like to start my training with you as you did with my father. Oh young alpha it would be my honor to train you alpha let me know when do we start.
