CHAPTER 8

The next morning Athenusa is thinking again what to create she remembers it is the transparent table computer made of glass and silver. She is collecting the tools and equipments to assemble her invention. She gets the old computer and change the way it looks before. She disassembles the computer to make it into brand new. Everything she needs is in the building. She wants to reinvent it into a new computer. That was her first choice but she remembers someone invented it already so she changes her mind. She is more serious to assemble high end advance technology. She is doing the research to find out the most advance technology. Since the trash in their planet is a big issue. She is thinking to build a machine that can clean up the trash. The machine that can recycle anything in the trash after recycling it can be useful in the environment. It can segregate recyclable and non-recyclable. The non-recyclable can use it when you plant a tree. The recyclable is also can use to our surroundings. She is satisfied of what she wants to assemble. She thinks everyone can use it and it is the best choice for her to build such machine. The machine is program to segregate the biodegradable and non-biodegradable. You can talk to machine and will automatically perform his task that is program. Athenusa is very excited to assemble the machine. It is a new invention and new to many. She got an instinct that she will win the competition. She is starting to assemble and she is holding the tools the drill and hammer. She disassembles the old machine in order to shape the machine that she wants. She is more focus and determine to her invention. She don’t want to waste her time to senseless things knowing that it is her first time she research it on the net all over again. The machine can identify if the waste can be used as a fertilizer of the plants and trees. This is going to be her motif or objective in creating the machine that can be use across their planet. Her mother is very supportive to her. She brings favorite food of Athenusa. Queen Beringaria uses her flying car to get through with the building. She also knows the code that’s why it is easier for her to enter building. Athenusa heard footsteps she is thinking who it is. She is surprise that her mother bring her favorite food.

Oh hi Mom! What brings you here? Princess Athenusa asked.

I bring your favorite food. Queen Beringaria responded.

Thank you mother I have food in the fridge I can cook anytime I want. Please tell father I’m going to spend my time here for a month I bring my clothes also or maybe I would just call to remind him that I’m going to spend one month in this building.

Yes of course! My lovable daughter you may eat first before you proceed to your invention and just do what you want here. I just want to cook your favorite food because you may already miss it.

Yes mother I will and thank you for the food.

I’ll wait for you until you finish eating then I’ll leave. Need to finish things in the palace too.

All right mother. Don’t worry I understand. I’m going to call father also later when you leave.

Princess Athenusa finishes eating her meal. Her mother quickly leaves the building. Princess Athenusa calls his father. The phone rings King Aspen receives the call of Princess Athenusa.

Hi father! I’m sorry to disturb but I just want to inform you I’m going to stay and spend my time for one month in the building you know exactly the reason why. Princess Athenusa said.

Yes of course! My lovable daughter no problem do what you want I know you can make it. Take your time and be more confident that you can get through with it. I’m excited to see your invention. King Aspen said.

Yes father, don’t worry I’ll give my best in inventing technology.

She finishes calling his father. She drops the call and continues with what she is doing. Her mother forgot to say goodbye to her daughter. She goes back to the place where Athenusa creating her invention. Princess Athenusa heard footsteps again. It is her mother she wonders why she’s back.

Oh my dear lovable daughter I forgot to kiss and say goodbye to you.

Oh! Mother you are really so sweet that’s why I love you with all my heart and soul. You’ve been always right here by my side. You really have faith and never leave me.I don’t know what will happen to me if you’re not around. I know you have a long life to live. I can predict that. You are a true leader and role model in our entire planet.

Queen Beringaria kisses her daughter in the forehead and cheeks. Princess Athenusa kisses her back and hugs her mother. They are so sweet. Queen Beringaria is now finally leaving the building. She’s going back to the palace. Princess Athenusa continues of what she’s doing in her invention she’s wearing a tool gear, gloves and drills so that when she drills the steel it wouldn’t hurt her body. She is holding the socket wrench power drill ready to shape the machine. She wants it to be durable and perfect to use by everybody. Every inch of it cannot easily damage unless if you intended to destroy. The machine that she’s shaping is not easy to destroy because it is made of titanium. She makes sure every bit of the body of machine is high quality. It is a lasting machinethat can be use up to the next generation. Princess Athenusa is fond of drawing that’s why easy for her to shape the technology that she wants because she draws it first the machine to make it easier for her to identify what she wants to shape perfectly. She knows where the hardest part is and what to begin but she is really determined to distinguish what she really wants to build. She combines different steel that she found in the building. She tightly junction the steels so that it looks great and presentable for everybody. It must be the reason that they won’t hesitate to use it and can convince that it is valuable. She calls Adrianus if he identifies what he wants to shape a machine that can be use by everybody. She tries calling Adrianus he didn’t answer it because he is also busy shaping his technology. He left the phone in his room in their underground building. Princess Athenusa calls again to reach out Adrianus. His phone is ringing again good thing Adrianus enters to his room because he forgot the tools that he is using then he heard his phone ringing. He receives the call immediately.

Oh hello my Princess I’m sorry to receive the call late because I am at the other room getting the tools and equipments that I need. Why are you calling? What’s going on? Is there anything else I can help you with? Adrianus asked.

No I’m just fine I want to ask if you figure out what to invent because I already have my own I draw it first then it is easier for me to signify what to do next. I suggest you draw it first also so that you would identify it easily.

Yes I already had it on my mind I told you before it is the ammunition. I came up that idea because of the story in the book that we read in the library but I’m still going to create the flying motorcycle after our graduation.

Oh that would be great! Did Master Noman allow you to create ammo? I heard before they forbid it because some of our kind abused it.

Yes it was forbidden before even Dad doesn’t want me to create ammo but I ask Master Noman if it is okay. He said he allows me to create but make sure it is not harmful during judgment day. I am starting to shape it and you are giving me a better idea. I’m going to draw it first to be easier which part I have to shape first.

To the other side Glykeria also ask permission to her parents that she’s going to use the garage building. She walks downstairs finding her parents they are sitting at the couch.

Mom and Dad I’m going to use the garage because I’m starting to create technology to be in shape. Glykeria said.

Oh yes my sweet daughter anytime you want you can use it. Dabney said.

You own it now because you are our daughter. Calaintha said.

Thanks Mom and Dad I hear you maybe later Basil will going to come here.

No problem with that Glykeria. Calaintha said.

Basil is a very nice guy. Dabney said.

I got to go in the garage building Mom and Dad. Glykeria walks straight at the backyard wherein the garage is designated. The door opens automatically using her voice to recognize it. Her phone rings suddenly. It is Basil calling her. Glykeria receives the call.

Hello Basil, What can I do for you? Glykeria asked.

I would like to say something for you but I want it in person. Basil said.

You can come over to our house.

Okay I’m going to be there in 30 minutes. Basil fixes his self. He is too attractive when he dresses well. He uses his flying wings directly towards the house of Glykeria.

Just tell me if you are in front of our gate so that I can fetch you. Glykeria said.

Yes, I will call you when I got there.

Glykeria is waiting for Basil while waiting she is starting to think what really she wants to create. Suddenly Basil calls her again.

Hello Basil, where are you?

I am here outside of the gate of your house. Basil said.

Okay wait I’m coming for you.

Glykeria get outside the garage and walk slowly towards the gate wherein Basil waiting for her. She opens the gate through his voice automatically open on its own.

Here you are, so what are we going to do? What is that something you want to tell me? Glykeria asked.

Okay let’s put it this way this may sounds odd to you but I have to. I want you to introduce to my parents. Please don’t reject me I know we still need to prioritize our projects but we can go through with that. It is inevitable to us to make an invention there’s no need to rush about it.

All right no problem though I’m not yet ready to face your parents. I’ll do it just for you. You are very lucky to have me and to convince with what you want but first you should ask permission to my parents before anything else so that they are aware that I’m with you.

Glykeria persuade Basil to ask permission to her parents. Basil is serious of his feelings to Glykeria that’s why he will do anything for Glykeria. They walk straight towards the door. The door opens automatically. Basil is with Glykeria. They enter to the balcony where her parents watching TV.

Hey Mom and Pop! Basil wants to talk to both of you.

Basil is quite nervous but he is determined to tell the parents of Glykeria that he wants her to introduce to her parents.

Hi Uncle Dabney and Aunt Calaintha! I might sound odd but I have to tell you this directly. I want to introduce Glykeria to my parents. Is that okay? I am really more willing to get to know about Glykeria.

Yes sure thing son no worries about it. You seem really a good guy. Dabney said.

As they sitting in the couch Glykeria and Basil look to each other face to face.

Wait I’m going to change my clothes first before we go to your parents. Glykeria leave Basil at the balcony with her parents. While Glykeria changing her clothes her parents ask Basil about his family.

So far so good Uncle Dabney they want to see Glykeria. Basil said.

Oh really! I hope we can get together with your family you know getting to know each other. Calaintha said.

Glykeria has done changing her clothes. She wears dress color blue and she looks stunning and beautiful girl just like her friends. She has its own beauty but Athenusa is more attractive among her friends.

Basil and Glykeria leave the house. Glykeria is ready to face the parents of Basil. She feels nervous but Basil told her it is normal because everything will be fine.

I’m quite nervous Basil. Glykeria said.

The car flies directly towards the house of Basil. Basil calls her parents that they are on their way to their house.

Hey! Mom we’re heading to our house with Glykeria the girl that I’ve told you that I like and tell Dad also. Thanks Mom! Basil said.

The names of her parents are Naamah and Taavil.

Okay son we are preparing your food here. Everything is ready. Naamah said.

They landed in the parking lot of Basil’s house. As they enter the house the door automatically open on its own.

Hey Mom! We’re here. Where’s Dad? Basil asked.

He is not yet around but he is coming over. Oh son! May I know this beautiful girl?

Yes Mom of course! This is Glykeria my classmate in school she’s really beautiful and her parents want us to get together sometimes. Glykeria the name of my mother is Naamah you can call her aunt if you want.

They are starting to eat they seldom talk but most of the time they eat quietly. After done eating Glykeria drinks water. Next to her is Basil. They both leave the dining table wherein his parents didn’t finish yet.

The food is delicious Basil. I like it. I’ll tell mother to cook like that.

I know how to cook the dish of what my mother prepare in the table. I’ll teach you if you want. Basil said as they sit on the sofa. They are waiting for the parents of Basil. His parents finish eating and drink a lot of water. They walk towards the couch wherein Basil and Glykeria are waiting for them. Naamah and Taavil seat on the couch and they interview Glykeria about her family.

Glykeria, how’s your family? What keeps you busy? Taavil asked.

Well my family is really happy and they are supporting me in everything that I do. My parents own the industry of processing minerals and metal alloys in which we are using today. It is very important without it the planet couldn’t survive. I am quite busy right now for making new technology. Our Master gave us one month to portray it.

Oh wow! Your family must be a very rich kind. Naamah said.

Thank you. Glykeria said. At the back of Glykeria’s mind she knows that the family of Basil is also a wealthy family. The family of Basil is humble and they act like an ordinary. That is one of the attitude that Glykeria why she likes Basil a lot.

Yes we knew about that Basil must be a lucky guy to have you. Naamah said.

Oh! We’re both lucky to have each other. Glykeria is more comfortable to speak up about herself towards the parents of Basil. Basil doesn’t want Glykeria to feel out of place in their conversation with his parents. Basil is really a gentle. He respects everyone else around him.

Dad and Mom, it’s getting late I have to accompany Glykeria on her way home. Basil said.

They walk towards the exit door. They are using the flying car of Glykeria to get back to their house. They enter inside of the car. Glykeria discusses about the parents of Basil.

You’re parents are cool and smart. Glykeria said.

You’re parents are very humble they treat me so well. I didn’t feel awkward when I was with your parents as I get along. I almost ask their background but I didn’t do it because I can ask it through you.

After a few minutes Glykeria is landed on their parking lot. Their house is not so far where Basil lives that’s why in a few minutes you can easily find their own house.

They walk outside of their house while Basil talking to Glykeria.

They are now in the parking lot Basil gets his flying wings at the backseat car of Glykeria.

Oh! You have nothing to worry about everything is fine. We don’t need to rush it will just work out perfectly at the right time. Glykeria talks to his parents for a while. You know what Dad and Mom, Basil is really a responsible at his young age he has manners and respect to everybody. His parents raise him so well. Glykeria said.

They are talking in the living room. Glykeria walks upstairs in the 2nd floor wherein her room is designated. She enters her room immediately to change her clothes and lay down in bed. She lies down abruptly she feels tired. It is tiring day for her because that was the first time Basil invited her to meet his parents. Her brain is draining but she is okay. She will get over that and she sleeps thoroughly all throughout the night. She forgot to kiss her parents for the goodnight kiss but her parents are very understanding. They know that she is tired and it is okay for them.

Meanwhile, Elyseria is thinking exactly what she wants to invent. She research in the net. She notices nobody yet invented the flying shoes. She’s very excited to come up such idea. She researches what would be the possible equipment and tools to invent the flying shoes. She thinks the flying shoes would be made by adamantium so that it won’t easily damage and durable. It is a lasting flying shoes because it can use up to the next generation. You just have to maintain the cleanliness to his parts inside and outside. Keep on updating every now and then the flying shoes. It is easier for her to create because all of her needs and wants are already in the building. She is holding the drill and all the metals that are needed she paste it to make a durable shoes. She come up this idea because it would help their kinds a lot for example if there is fortuitous event may come like a flood you can fly easily just wear the shoes and it flies automatically anywhere you want to go across the planet. She’s holding the drill at the same time the tool bit. She learns quickly on inventing the things that she wants. She thought at first it is hard but eventually she gets use to it. She’s going to love the things that she really wants. She will be more passionate in everything that she does. She is staying in their building. She cooks for her own food though sometimes her parents visit her to bring her favorite food. She brings also her clothes and her parents never miss to support her. Having supporting parents can lead her to be more successful. She is determined and focuses to her invention. She wants to shape it immediately because she has plans to invite her friends into a party. To be able to let Yakor meet her friends. Elyseria is very excited of what she is doing. Until she decides to call her friends to have fun and take a break for a while though their inventions is not yet finish. She tries to call Princess Athenusa first. The phone rings many times Athenusa didn’t notice her phone is ringing because she is busy shaping her invention but Elyseria didn’t give up. She still keeps on calling Athenusa. Until Athenusa recognize her phone she picks up the phone and answers it directly.

Oh Hi Elyseria! What makes you think for calling me? Is there any problem? Let me know I would really want to help you. Princess Athenusa said.

No that’s not what you think I’m totally fine. Everything is okay. It is just that I want to invite you for the night party. Let’s have fun and take a break while our inventions still on process. Would that be okay for you? Hmm I’ll think about it because I am really focus in my invention to finish this one before we’re having a break. I’ll call Glykeria asking her to join the night party. Elyseria said.

Yes you should call Glykeria convince her to come with us.

I’m inviting you to a party because there is someone that I want to introduce.

Oh Wow! That must be interesting huh! May I know his name? He is a lucky guy to have you.

We are lucky to have each other but the sad thing is there’s nothing between us and yet he is my special someone.

Elyseria is dialing the number of Glykeria. The phone rings. Glykeria suddenly heard her phone is ringing.

Oh hello Elyseria! What happen? Is there anything wrong? Why did you call at this time? Glykeria asked.

No nothing wrong and you have nothing to worry about. I’m totally fine. Why it is because I call it means there is something wrong? Elyseria laughed.

I call because there’s someone I want to meet you.

I guess it is your special someone.

Yes he is really special for me that’s why I would really love to let you guys meet him personally.

Did Athenusa know about this?

Yes I told her earlier about the party and she’s okay with that. We really need a break and let’s have some fun.

Oh it is a party okay I’ll join. Can I bring Basil? You know I didn’t start yet my invention but I have ideas what to build.

Don’t worry you can start your invention tomorrow morning I mean the whole day because the night party will start tomorrow night we will go the club and you can bring Basil with you. I’m glad that you’re okay and agreed with the party. I’ll call Athenusa again to remind her that you are okay with the night party.

All right that would be good reminds Athenusa that I’ll join the night party.

The phone of Athenusa rings again. She immediately receives the call. She is aware Elyseria would call her back.

Hey Elyseria! What’s up now? Did Glykeria agree with the party? Princess Athenusa asked.

Yes she agrees with the night party. The party would be tomorrow night. You can bring Adrianus with you because Glykeria will bring Basil. Elyseria said.

Oh sure I’ll call Adrianus later I’ll inform him about the night party. Does it mean we have our own partner? How cute are we bringing boys to the party? How exciting?

Yes indeed I’m excited also to introduce to you my special someone. I hope you guys would like him.

On the other side Elyseria call Yakor and persuade him to join the party at the club bar. The phone rings of Yakor. Yakor holds his phone so he answers immediately the call of Elyseria.

Oh hello Elyseria! Why did you call? Is there anything I can do for you? Yakor asked.

Ahm I’m totally fine. This might sound unusual to you because I’m a girl and I’m the one who is calling asking if it is okay with you to attend the night party in the Club bar? Is that all right? Elyseria asked.

Well since it is a night party and you invited me I’ll make sure to attend. By the way, are your friends will join the night party tomorrow night?

Yes they will join the party night they are my friends they wouldn’t reject me if I invite them. I’m the one who initiates the party because I want you to introduce to all of my friends.

Yakor has mix emotions because finally he will meet Princess Athenusa personally. Then he said yes immediately because it is a way to get closer to Athenusa but in his subconscious mind. He doesn’t want to let Elyseria feel that he uses her to be with Princess Athenusa.

Goodbye Yakor. I’m dropping the call but let me remind you that I’m excited to introduce you to my friends. Elyseria is obviously really like and love Yakor. He couldn’t get him out of her mind. She thinks a lot about him all the time since the first time that they have met to each other but she didn’t know that Yakor knew her already because Yakor followed Athenusa wherever she goes.
