CHAPTER 9

The next morning Glykeria wakes up early. She prepares her dress to wear later tonight for the party. After she is done preparing and she’s walking downstairs to eat her breakfast. Her parents are not around. She gets use to it sometimes her parents are busy in their own business. She walks towards the exit door. She goes to the garage building at the back of their house. When she enters the garage the door open automatically using her voice. It is already in her mind to create a robot though she can see in the surroundings they are everywhere across the planet. She didn’t see any robot that is program to replant the dying trees especially in the forest that have been abused by many cutting the trees illegally. Trees are important because if the fortuitous event comes it could help a lot to protect the planet. It gives clean atmosphere in the environment. She list down the materials, equipment and tools that she needs. She segregates the tools and steels. She’s holding the grill, tool bits, tool bars and she wears gear to protect her eyes. She design and draw the robot that she wants to make it easier for her to distinguish and integrate which part would she wants to shape. She shapes first the head of the robot which is very important. The head part is wherein she would program the robot to perform his task. She creates from head to toe. She smiles when her invention is almost done and getting better. She thought before it was hard but when she is starting to build a robot it is now easier for her. Afterwards she prepares attending the party. She calls Basil to remind the night party at the club bar and also about his invention. The phone rings of Basil

Hello Basil! Are you ready for tonight? Tell me about your invention. Did you start to shape it? Glykeria asked.

Yes,about my invention I draw it first so that it is easier for me which part would I going to begin I came up a notion to create advance tracking device that can detect if there is an earthquake coming exactly what day and what time. I want to create this one successfully because this thing is useful especially to the places that are prone to earthquake. What time are we going to the party? Basil asked.

It is 7:00 sharp tonight at the club bar. Wow! You are truly amazing Basil. I like your invention. I think we should be ready for tonight’s party.We are pre occupied to our inventions and since we already have been starting shaping our technology. I agree with Elyseria we really need a break. I’ll drop the call. Goodbye to you and see you later.

Glykeria continues with what she’s doing and same thing to Basil.

He joints the steels and pastes it, wires and other tools use to make a tracking device for the earthquake. Basil spends his time to the building in which his father gives to him. He takes over everything inside the building because he would be the owner.

On the other hand Adrianus starts to create his technology and that would be flying motorcycle or high power ammunition. He tries to create ammunition. He couldn’t explode it in his underground building. He needs to go out of the building to test his ammunition then suddenly he changes his mind because it is harmful to their surroundings especially on the judgment day it can affect to the viewers. He finalizes his decision so he chooses the flying motorcycle to shape. He goes back to the underground building. He draws the motorcycle and the body parts of the motorcycle. He draws it so that he could identify which part would he wants to shape first. He is using steel that is durable and high quality mostly their technologies are made of admantium. He thought it would be hard for him because it is his first time. As time goes by he doesn’t feel pressure it is easier for him to build technology. He is thinking if he would inform Princess Athenusa for changing his invention but he prefers to surprise Princess Athenusa. According to Adrianus if he set his mind he can do anything he wants likewise with Princess Athenusa. Their kinds are really geniuses.

As for Yakor he is very well known in his school which is the DOWNSCALE ACADEMY because he is very handsome, gentle and intelligent. Girls in his school would really want to be with him but he has Elyseria a new found friend and also his one great love Princess Athenusa soon they will meet in person. He is really determine to win the competition game in his 3rd grade level because if he wins he will be the representative in his class and a way to fight the final competition game in the 4th grade level. It is a way also that the palace will recognize his invention to be able to publicize across their planet and most importantly Princess Athenusa will notice him. Yakor thinks too much what to create. He thinks of the machine that can change the past history and a machine that can locate anywhere even if you have been missing for how many years and even if you are not located in the map. He eagerly starts to collect the tools, equipment, and steels like admantium to be durable and lasting machine. He didn’t inform Elyseria about this invention he wants to surprise her. He knows he is getting near to Princess Athenusa because of the night party.He often times think of Athenusa because she is his one great love. It is already 5:00 he prepares his self to look good in the night party that he is going to attend. He looks tidy and neat. He is very handsome for his black suit up and down mix with white. He wants his self to be presentable in meeting Elyseria and her friends especially Princess Athenusa. He believes cleanliness is a good posture to wear. That’s why girls would really love him because of his good attitude. He calls Elyseria to inform that he is on his way to the club bar. The phone rings of Elyseria.

Hello Elyseria! I’m on the way to club bar. I’ll wait for you at the corner of the entrance door. Yakor said.

Yes Hello Yakor. I’m going to be there in a minute. See you. She looks stunning with her casual red dress. It matches to her skin.

Yakor is riding flying umbrella that makes him comfortable to use. The flying umbrella is use by many across their planet because some couldn’t afford the expensive flying car aside from that you can bring it anywhere.

Princess Athenusa is also preparing herself wearing casual blue dress. She is very beautiful and sophisticated. Princess Athenusa is very powerful because she has everything you could never imagine. Their kinds across the planet really love her except to those that have plans to destroy their kingdom but Athenusa doesn’t mind it. She is more focus in inventing new advance technology and she’s aware that soon she will be the one to lead and protect their planet. Adrianus is also preparing his self he is wearingcasual black leather shoes, black pants and white silver in his upper suit good to use during the party. He calls Princess Athenusa if she is ready. The phone rings of Athenusa.

Hello my princess! Are you ready for tonight? Adrianus asked.

Yes I’m ready. Thanks for the call. I’m on my way to the club bar. Princess Athenusa said. Athenusa’s parents are not around she wants to ask permission so she decides to go on her own.

I’ll drop the call my Princess Athenusa. See you later.

Yes sure thing I’m on the way to drive my car.

Glykeria is also preparing herself ready to join the party. She calls Basil reminding him that she’s on the way to club bar. The phone rings of Basil.

Hey Basil! Are you ready for tonight? Glykeria asked.

Yes I am ready just waiting for your call and I’m done wearing my clothes. He is also wearing black leather shoes, blue jeans and elegant gray upper suit. Basil responded.

Glykeria is on the way to club bar. She is wearing casual yellow dress. She looks so fabulous and very pretty. It fits to her sexy body.

I’m driving my car heading to club bar. I’ll drop the call now.See you later.

Basil is flying using his wings. Both of them are heading to club bar.

Yakor is the first one who waits nearby the entrance. He puts his umbrella to the guard house while waiting he notices some girls are waving at him. He just ignores them because he sets his mind for Princess Athenusa and for Elyseria he treats her as a good friend. Elyseria arrives and park her car in the parking lot. She could see Yakor standing nearby the guardhouse at the entrance of the club bar. Yakor turns around he could see Elyseria waving at him. Elyseria is walking directly towards Yakor and said.

Hey Yakor! How long have you been here? I’m sorry if I let you wait too long. Elyseria said.

No it is okay I’m fine. I’m just waiting for a couple of minutes. Yakor at the back of his mind he arrives early because he is excited to meet Princess Athenusa personally. Yakor holds the hand of Elyseria gently.

May I hold your right hand? Yakor asked.

Yes sure thing my pleasure.

We have to go inside.

I called the owner yesterday I told her to reserve a room for V.I.K and Athenusa is coming with us. We have no problem for the room because we can do what we want. Elyseria said.

Oh that would be great I’m sure your friends would really like it. Though Yakor knows loving Princess Athenusa is impossible because his family doesn’t belong to high society but it doesn’t stop him to love Princess Athenusa. This is the reason why he is eager to win the competition game so that they will recognize him.

Yakor and Elyseria go to the V.I.K room. Elyseria calls Athenusa that they are waiting for them in the V.I.K room. The phone rings of Athenusa. She receives it immediately.

Hello Elyseria I’m on the way to club bar and also Adrianus. Princess Athenusa said.

Yes I’m waiting inside the V.I.K room with my special someone. You can easily find it. Elyseria said.

Yes I will Elyseria I’m getting near.

I’ll drop the call because I’m going to call Glykeria. Bye.

Princess Athenusa calls Adrianus to remind him of the V.I.K room. The phone rings of Adrianus.

Hello my princess! I’m heading to club bar. Adrianus said.

Yes when you arrive at the club bar you go inside and find the V.I.K room. Princess Athenusa said.

No I’m going with you. Is that okay? Adrianus said.

Okay if that is what you want wait for me beside the entrance door for me to find you easily.

Yes I will my Princess Athenusa.

I’ll drop the call and continue driving.

Adrianus arrives first in the parking lot and he walks directly towards beside the entrance of the club bar waiting for Athenusa. After a couple of minutes Athenusa arrives in the parking lot and she walks towardsthe entrance wherein Adrianus waiting for her. She smiles to Adrianus and Adrianus smiles back.

Hello my Princess! Would you mind lend your right hand to me before entering the club bar. Adrianus said.

Yes no problem with that my pleasure. Princess Athenusa lends her right hand to Adrianus.

They enter the club bar Adrianus holds the right hand of Princess Athenusa. They are looking for the V.I.K room. Upon finding the V.I.K room they knock the door. The door is automatic after knocking it will open automatically.

Hey guys finally both of you are here I’m still waiting for Glykeria and Basil. You can seat anywhere you want guys. I would like you to meet my special friend his name is Yakor. Yakor this is Princess Athenusa and Adrianus. Elyseria said.

Yakor shakes his hand first to Adrianus then he shakes hand to Athenusa. He could feel that there is something electrifying into his body that he couldn’t explain while holding the right hand of Princess Athenusa. His heart is palpitating it feels like nobody in the room but he only can see Athenusa. His world stops and Yakor knows about Adrianus. He knows that Adrianus is courting Athenusa and he is always there whenever she needs him.

For Princess Athenusa’s side when Yakor holds her hand there’s something she couldn’t explain that she never felt before maybe because Yakor is very attractive. She didn’t feel it to Adrianus. She ignores her feelings and she doesn’t want to appear that Yakor is catching her attention. In her mind having a love life is her least priority but when she meets Yakor her perspective change.

Hi I’m Adrianus nice to meet you too.

Hi I’m Athenusa but some call me princess but I prefer to call me Athenusa.

Elyseria calls Glykeria to let her know that they are already in the V.I.K room. The phone rings of Glykeria.

Hello Glykeria where are you?

Hello Elyseria! I am getting near to the club bar and also Basil.

Yes the moment you will arrive here in the club upon entering find the V.I.K room we are already here waiting for you guys.

Elyseria drops the call. Glykeria is surprise because he thought Basil would be the last to come. She could see Basil is standing beside the entrance door of the club bar. She walks towards immediately to him.

Hey Basil! I thought you’re going to be late I didn’t notice you come early. Glykeria said.

I dress quickly so that I won’t be late to guide you. Basil said.

Shall we go inside? Basil lends her hand to hold the left hand of Glykeria.

As they enter the club bar they find quickly the V.I.K room because there’s a name posted outside the door to signify that it is the room for V.I.K. They knock the door and the door open automatically. Finally all of them are enjoying the party.

Hi Glykeria and Basil you may take a seat. I would like you to meet Yakor he is from DOWNSCALE ACADEMY. Elyseria said.

Glykeria lends her hand first to shake Yakor then Basil do the same thing.

Hi Yakor welcome to our friendship. Glykeria said.

What’s up bro? Glad we have a new friend from Downscale Academy. Basil said.

Yakor is flattered because they are intimidating and he feels awkward knowing they are belong in the wealthy high society but they don’t know Yakor knows about them for keep on following Athenusa. Yakor didn’t take advantage or thinking badly towards them. He didn’t invade their privacy. It is only Athenusa is the apple of his eyes and he knew a lot about her but not everything he didn’t exceed to the limit.

Guys let’s celebrate our togetherness let’s groove and dance. Elyseria said.

All of them get outside of the V.I.K room and they have their own partners. Suddenly there’s a dance that need to exchange partners they can’t do anything about it but to follow the dance steps. That night Athenusa and Yakor are perfect for each other. They have both same feelings that they couldn’t explain and the tune of the music leads them to hold their both hands. It feels like their world magnetize and their eyes meet to each other. In their mind they could feel the body is vibrating to each other. They don’t want to stop it but the music continues to play yet need to change partner again. They feel like they are floating in heaven as they hold their hands for the second time around. For Princess Athenusa it maybe a love at first sight but for Yakor it his one great true love. Princess Athenusa needs to figure out her feelings if it is love or infatuation. They talk for a while to release the feeling of awkwardness.

I didn’t notice that you are a good dancer. Athenusa said.

I didn’t expect you dance well also. Yakor said.

You look familiar to me I think I saw you before.

Actually her instinct is right she saw Yakor before but she just didn’t mind him at first glance because he is a stranger. Yakor feels nervous that Athenusa might recognize him. Everyone is looking at Athenusa but she is getting used to it and she has to deal with that. Maybe there’s a time Athenusa is walking along the road and Yakor follows her that’s why he looks familiar to her. Yakor knows about it and he is acting like he didn’t know.

Oh maybe it is just my look alike you know in our kinds we could encounter familiar faces that are similar. Yakor said.

Well maybe the guy that I saw before is similar to you.

Yakor is very happy at the back of his mind. He finally talks to Princess Athenusa. She is her dream girl and his dreams come true they are holding hands tightly together while dancing with the tune of the music. They have common similarities in terms of music that’s why they are at ease together. All of the sudden the music change and they have to change partners going back to the original. Elyseria notices that Athenusa and Yakor have a great time and look like they’ve known before. Elyseria feels a little bit jealous and Yakor get back to Elyseria. Elyseria asks Yakor.

Are you guys knew each other? Elyseria asked.

Of course not! Yakor said.

Yakor should lie because he doesn’t want to hurt the feelings of Elyseria. He doesn’t also want to reveal the truth thathe has been following Athenusa.

Why you ask? Are you jealous? You’re having a mood swing. Don’t bother yourself to think that way.

No I didn’t it is just I couldn’t fake my feelings towards you. I’m hypocrite if I say I didn’t feel jealous and I’m always honest with you. I really hate this feeling of jealousy but my heart did.

I’m sorry to let you feel such feelings I didn’t mean to hurt you and it’s not my intention.

They continue dancing until the music stop. They go back to the V.I.K room and they order wine for the night.

To the other side Adrianus also notice that Athenusa and Yakor are so sweet together while dancing. You can feel their conversation have a connection and they knew each other. Adrianus asks Athenusa about Yakor.

You guys know each other and you had a long conversation while dancing? Did you meet him before? Adrianus asked.

No I just meet him tonight. Can we go inside the V.I.K room? Let’s talk when we got there. Princess Athenusa said.

Athenusa don’t know what to do about her feelings to Yakor she is trying to figure out. She doesn’t want Adrianus to be notice that she has feelings to him but she’s not yet sure what kind of feelings that she feels.

Yes sure thing much better because it is too crowded and noisy here.

They walk slowly into the V.I.K room wherein Yakor and Elyseria stays and drinking. They sit infront of Yakor and Elyseria. All of them feel a bit awkward because of what Athenusa and Yakor did when they dance. Adrianus orders their drinks and ask Athenusa what she wants.

Athenusa what liquor you want to drink? Adrianus asked.

Anything light drinks will do. Athenusa said.

Adrianus orders light drinks for them as they are drinking quietly nobody wants to speak. The silence takes for 30 mins. Basil and Glykeria start the conversation when they got into the V.I.K room.

What’s up guys? Why so quiet? Glykeria said.

We are in the party guys so we should enjoy the night with no awkward moment. Basil said.

Basil and Glykeria also notice Yakor and Athenusa had a great time together when they dance. It looks like they knew each other but they don’t mind it and they can feel there is awkwardness in the V.I.K room. All of them are just looking to their own eyes until Athenusa breaks her silence.

Does anyone know where the comfort room is? I really need to pee. Athenusa said.

It is outside of this room turn right. You want me to go with you? Yakor asked.

No I’m fine thanks. I’ll go on my own.

The statement of Yakor makes Elyseria triggered. She is trying to relax. She doesn’t want to cause hostility. Glykeria and Basil are listening to them they sit beside Yakor and Elyseria.

Guys cheer up we’re here to enjoy the party. Glykeria said.

Princess Athenusa goes to the comfort room on her own. She’s really terrified of Yakor that he wants to go with her in the comfort room. It confuses her and she has mix emotion that she couldn’t explain further. She’s facing the mirror after urinating. She looks her face and talking to herself what’s going on with her. She never feels this way before but it didn’t distract her. She ignores her feelings because she knows she’ll get over it and will fade away. For her love life is her least priority at the back of her mind she’s not sure yet if she can stand with her principles. She wants Yakor to go away in order for her to focus on her priorities but in her heart she wants Yakor to be with her. She wants to give a chance herself to love somebody and feel what it is like to love back. She couldn’t pursue what her heart wants because she knows Elyseria really likes Yakor a lot. That’s why she takes initiative to have a party to introduce to us her special someone. She goes back to the V.I.K room. She keeps asking herself why Yakor caught her attention. She couldn’t deny the fact that Yakor is very attractive. Anyone would really like him especially his presence if you are with him and no boring moments. Athenusa couldn’t just take away the feelings of Adrianus for her. She’s torn between the two handsome guys. She doesn’t want to confuse her mind so she decides to stay single for a while. She don’t want to hurt the feelings of her friends especially Elyseria because they have been together since their parents sent them into their school. As she enters to the V.I.K room she sits down and smiles to her friends. She sets her mind not to involve yet in love life maybe she will dwell love life after she finishes her studies. She will decide whom she wants to be with. She observes Yakor and Elyseria are focus talking to each other. Same thing to Basil and Glykeria they are laughing while talking as if they own the world. Adrianus asks Princess Athenusa if she is okay. He is more concern to Princess Athenusa. He notices that something is bothering her.

Are you okay Athenusa? You seem like you are not in yourself. Adrianus asked.

I’ve told you I’m totally fine. That’s not what you think.

Yakor still focus to Elyseria. He doesn’t want to complicate things. He could feel that Athenusa caught his attention. He doesn’t want to happen that way. He wants to enjoy the night with Elyseria because she is the one who initiates to have a party. It is enough to Yakor that finally he holds the hands of Athenusa and mesmerizes him with her beautiful tantalizing eyes. He is happy with the party night because they dance and talk even just for a while. He is still hoping that next time they would enjoy each other just the both of them. He is wishing that it will happen soon. Princess Athenusa is focusing her attention to Adrianus. She didn’t mind anymore what’s bothering her. She continues enjoying the night with Adrianus. All of them are enjoying the night but they don’t drink too much because they would drive their own cars.

Guys it is already late at night we still have to finish our technology and I’m glad all of us are enjoying the night. Princess Athenusa said.

We must going back home guys. Adrianus said.

I agree with Athenusa we should rest for tomorrow’s another new battle. Thank you for the night I enjoy a lot and this is my first time hanging out with you guys. Yakor said.

It is okay Yakor you are always welcome to our circle of friends since you are special to Elyseria. Glykeria said.

Yes it is true I agree with Glykeria and it is nice we build new friendship tonight. I hope at the end of the day no matter what the circumstances may come. We will fight it and be still together. Basil said.

Thank you also for everything guys that you didn’t reject my invitations knowing that we’re all busy especially for welcoming Yakor yet you still give time for tonight’s party. Now that Yakor knows he is special for me I’m hoping that he wouldn’t break my heart. Elyseria said.

After paying the bills their ways of payment is through machine using the chip planted in the right hands. All of them are saying goodbye to each other and driving their own rides back to their home.

Princess Athenusa go back to their building she says goodbye to Adrianus. Adrianus I’ll fly this way because I’m going back to stay in our building. Athenusa said.

Yeah take good care Athenusa I’ll fly this way also because I’m staying in my father’s underground building. Adrianus said.

Yes I hear you I’ll call you if there’s something I want you to help me. Athenusa said.

They parted ways they go back to their building wherein they are staying for a moment while creating to shape the technology that they want. Meanwhile, Elyseria invited Yakor to hop in to her flying car instead of using his flying umbrella.

Hi Yakor! I insist hop into my car I’ll drop you to your house and please don’t reject my offer. You are going to hurt my feelings I never invited anyone before it is just only you because you know how important you are to me. You are my great new found friend of all that I’ve been through. Elyseria said.

Well who am I to reject a beautiful girl like you. Okay I’ll hop in.

In Yakor’s mind he couldn’t promise that he wouldn’t hurt the feelings of Elyseria because he knows in the future he will inevitably going to hurt her after revealing the truth behind his feelings to Princess Athenusa. Yakor sits right next to Elyseria.

You have a nice car. Yakor said.

Elyseria focus to drive heading to the house of Yakor and she landed outside of the house.

Thanks a lot again Elyseria for introducing me to your friends and for the ride. I’ll treasure this moment.

Oh it is nothing to me I’ll do anything for you though it is odd because I’m a girl really interested and I sound like desperate to be with you. It doesn’t bother me at all because you know how much you mean to me even though we just know for the short period oftime. You are always welcome to my heart Yakor. I’m not ashamed to express my feelings towards you it is now or never. It is better to express as earlier because we don’t have notion what will happen in the future.

After Elyseria drops Yakor in his house she goes back to their building and she’s ready again tomorrow for shaping her own invention. In a couple of minutes she landed besides their building. She enters the door and the door open automatically. After changing her clothes she lies down to her bed and she falls asleep abruptly.

Princess Athenusa also stays in their building and she often visits the sacred room of his father but she never tries to open the black book because it is forbidden. The building has its own bed she lies down when she got near to the bed after changing her clothes she falls asleep.

On the other hand Basil and Glykeria feel tired with the party. Basil is using his wings to go back on his way home but Glykeria invites him to ride with her.

Basilgets in put your wings at the back seat.

Okay I got it I’m going to put my wings at the backseat. Basil said.

We have so much to discuss. Glykeria said. Glykeria starts to fly.

Basil sits right next to Glykeria. About what are we going to discuss?

Glykeria would surely discuss about Yakor and Athenusa earlier when they dance at the party.

It is about Yakor and Athenusa. Did you notice how their eyes met to each other? Their eyes are like a magnet that hard to separate.

Of course! I think it is normal because that was the first time they met to each other but yeah I agree I could sense they have the same feelings. They couldn’t just express it because Elyseria and Adrianus were sitting beside them. You could feel how happy they are. Are we really going to discuss about them?

Yes why not? Is there something wrong?

There’s nothing wrong with that it is just us know how they interact and I have no plan to gossip to anyone because obviously not my thing. Can we discuss ourselves? It is more interesting with me rather than talking about them? Basil said.

Well you know that I like you a lot and all I want is to be with you. I know also we are still young but what’s the difference of now and at the right age anyway it is still us? I am sure of my feelings with you.

Oh my Basil! You know how special you are to me though sometimes it is not obvious that I’m into you. I would really want to be with you but we should wait for the perfect timing. We still have inventions to finish before proceeding to our love life. Can you wait for that perfect timing? Don’t rush everything will fall into place.

Glykeria is heading to the building of Basil and she landed outside of their gate. Basil also gets his wings and thanking Glykeria.

It is okay I can handle and control. Goodbye too and sweet dreams. Glykeria said. Glykeria flies again and landed in their parking lot. She enters to the garage building that has its own bed. She changes her clothes and lie down immediately.
