CHAPTER 6

The next morning Princess Athenusa goes to school early she’s sitting at the bench waiting for her friends while waiting she’s playing her advance high technology cell phone. You could see also around her their kinds been using advance high technology gadgets. Before she goes to school Princess Athenusa prepares herself with the help of robot. Everything she needs the robot provide it to her. Glykeria also wakes up early to prepare herself. Likewise with Elyseria her mother wakes her up to set up her things. Adrianus also wakes up early he is fixing his things on the way to school and also Basil does his thing.

Hello Athenusa good morning I’m on my way to school. Where can I find you? Glykeria asked over phone.

I’m sitting on the bench chairs you can easily see me. Athenusa said.

Okay I’m going to be there in a minute.

Elyseria calls Athenusa over phone also while on her way. The phone is ringing again Athenusa picks her phone.

Hey Athenusa I’m coming over. Where are you? Elyseria asked.

I’m sitting at the bench chairs. Athenusa said.

Okay I got it. Glykeria landed first at the parking area she’s finding Athenusa and she could see it from a far and she walks straight towards Athenusa.

Hey Athenusa! Did Elyseria call you? Glykeria asked.

Yes she is calling me after you drop your call.

Glykeria sit right beside Athenusa.

We have to wait Elyseria before we go to classroom. Athenusa said.

Yes of course! We’ve always been doing that.

Elyseria landed on the parking lot she could see her two friends talking to each other. She parks her car in the parking lot and walks straight towards her friends.

Hey guys! Good morning! How are you? Elyseria asked.

We’re waiting for you. Princess Athenusa said.

We are totally fine. You guys are ready? Starting today our lesson is about inventing technology. Glykeria said.

Yes we knew that. Let’s go guys prepare ourselves for our new chapter. Princess Athenusa said.

They walk straight towards their designated classroom. As they enter the room their classmates are looking at them because they are beautiful, gorgeous, and charming. They are sitting on their own chairs while waiting for Master Noman some of their classmates is busy to their own thing. Adrianuns appears suddenly in the classroom. His classmates notice him. Glykeria and Elyseria greet Adrianus a good morning.

Hey Adrianus good morning! Glykeria said.

How are you then? Elyseria asked.

Adrianus is waiting to Princess Athenusa would recognize him but Princess Athenusa is busy on her phone. She didn’t bother of Adrianus.

I’m okay guys everything is fine.

Princess Athenusa heard his voice. She looks at him and their eyes meet to each other but Adrianus recognize first Princess Athenusa.

Hi my Princess Athenusa good morning. How are you today? Adrianus asked.

Oh hi hello I’m doing great. I’m just spending my remaining time on my phone while waiting to Master Noman.

The two girls Glykeria and Elyseria know that Adrianus has a feeling for her. Adrianus sits on his chair constantly doing his own thing while waiting to their Master Noman. Glykeria is waiting for Basil because she is going to introduce him to her friends and he suddenly arrives. He stares to Glykeria and greeted her.

Hi Glykeria! How are you? Basil asked.

I’m okay I actually waiting for you I would introduce you to my friends.

Hey guys! This is Basil remember him? He is the one who saw my phone yesterday. Her friends are waving and greeted him helloafter done in introducing. All of them are sitting on their own chairs but still waiting to their Master Noman. Some are busy to the computers and advance gadgets. Elyseria approaches Princess Athenusa.

Hey Athenusa! It seemslike our friend Glykeria got a new lover but in fairness he is good looking and good personality. Elyseria said.

We should ask her about them if they are into relationship. Athenusa said.

They could see Glykeria and Basil are talking to each other sincerely but they look sweet. I think they are still in the stage of getting to know each other. Elyseria said.

I guess maybe we really don’t know. Let’s just give them both spaces. Athenusa said.

Master Noman suddenly appears in the classroom. Everyone seems so ready to the discussion.

Good morning everybody! How’s your day? Master Noman said. Everyone listens to him.

We’re doing great Master. Students responded.

Okay good! Are you ready for your inventions? Do you already have any ideas? I’m going to inspect your technology every now and then. Today I would like everybody to think of anything that is ready to createadvance technology whoever wins in this class will be the representative to play the final competition in the last grade year level. I’m expecting all of you that you can create new advance technology better than we already had because resources are everywhere. There’s no reason you cannot make it and remember what I’ve told you yesterday put it in your mind. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. I’m giving you one month for your new advance technology. After one month would be the judgment day. Starting today you can initiate what you really want. By the way you can go to the library if you’re curious of the old school inventions. There are names have been posted in the library who invented the old technology some of them use by many that we could see in our surroundings. The name of your parents also posted in the library. I’m leaving and you can start your inventions to gather information. I have to say goodbye. Goodbye class! Master Noman explained.

Master Noman leaves the classroom quietly and his students are talking about their project. Princess Athenusa asks her friends if they have ideas in their mind what to create.

Hey Glykeria and Elyseria. Do you have ideas now what to create? Did you guys consult to your parents?

Yes, I’m still thinking I didn’t finalize it yet I get my ideas when I approach my parents but I don’t think I can make it through because I’m really having a hard time for this. Glykeria said.

How about you Elyseria? Princess Athenusa asked.

I thought same thing with Glykeria my parents are right it isn’t easy at first. Elyseria said.

Well our parents really have been supporting us from the start. Did your parents told you about the secret of our planet? Princess Athenusa asked.

Yes my parents also told me the mystery of our planet but they’ve said I’m still young to know about the secrets. I am thinking why they call it a secret when our parents knew about it. Elyseria said.

Why it is my parents doesn’t even tell me about it? Athenusa your parents and my parents were classmates before but they didn’t try to talk to me about the mystery of our planet and Elyseria knows also even though her parents weren’t classmates of our parents. That’s so unfair I should ask my parents when I got home. Glykeria said.

Well maybe because your parents don’t want you to involve that can disturb your mind. Unlike us we are curious and some of our questions still unanswered yet we eager want to know the truth,right Elyseria? Princess Athenusa said.

Yeah right I agree with Athenusa.

They are facing to each other so that they could talk. Basil is also talking to his seatmate and also Adrianus.

Guys we should go to thelibrary. Can you come with me? Princess Athenusa asked.

Of course! We will go with you. Her friends responded.

In the classroom there’s a guy who is desperate to win the competition game. He is confident to himself that he will win. His name is Icarus the gossip spread out all over their classroom. Athenusa and her friends heard it too but they just ignore it.

Guys have you heard about Icarus? Adrianus asked as he joins the table of Athenusa’s circle of friends. Though he is part of them he interrupts the discussion of the girls.

Yes we heard about him. Why? Princess Athenusa asked.

What can you say about him?

Well we don’t compete we are just enjoying whatever the result. Glykeria said.

Yeah Glykeria is right we’re not competing to each other though it is competition game we just want to enjoy our inventions. Athenusa said.

It’s really fun to win but it really doesn’t bother us what’s more important is that we can create new technology. Elyseria said.

Let’s go guys we should go to the library it is way better so that we can gain more knowledge about what to invent.Hey! Adrianus, do you want to come with us? Princess Athenusa asked.

Where?

I’m going to visit the library. Athenusa said.

Yes sure thing I would love to visit the library it is quite interesting. Adrianus said.

They follow Athenusa to the library. They use elevator to reach the 4th floor where the library located. The elevator is improvise you don’t need to click all you have to do is to speak the number that you want then it will automatically take you in your destination.

Are you guys excited? Princess Athenusa asked.

Yes somehow it is new to us. Elyseria said.

What makes you think to visit the library Athenusa? Adrianus asked.

I want to see the old books I want to compare it the book that my father showed to me. He said it was very important book but he doesn’t want to share what’s inside. He told me to wait at the right time but I couldn’t wait anymore I am curious the content of the book.

Glykeria and Elyseria are listening.

My father told me about the secret of our planet also it bothers me though I don’t mind it for now because I’m still young to discover those mysteries but you are giving me an idea to know about it Athenusa. Adrianus said.

What the heck! All of your parents told you about the mystery of the planet but my parents didn’t even bother to share it with me. Damn! This is really unfair. Glykeria said.

We already explain to you the reasons Glykeria you don’t have to worry we’re here to share it with you. Princess Athenusa said.

They are heading to the library they walk to the door entrance as they enter it is so huge you could see different books that are displayed. Long before their kinds use the books because they have no technology yet but some of their kinds still read the old books.

What are we going to do here? Elyseria asked.

Are we going to discover the secrets that keep hidden? Glykeria asked.

I think we should more focus first to our inventions before we are going to spend our time discovering new things. Adrianus said.

Wait guys I just want to get over my curiosity I really want to see the books here because I would compare it to the book of my father. Princess Athenusa said.

Guys you can look around here because I would go over there right in the corner wherein the old books displayed. Princess Athenusa said.

Adrianus wants to go with Athenusa. Princess Athenusa I’ll go with you. Is it okay? Adrianus asked.

Glykeria and Elyseria look over the library both of them roaming around while Athenusa and Adrianus go to the corner of the old books.

Are you really interested to discover the mystery of our planet? We only have one month to do our project weshould invent first before we would mind the secret of our planet. Adrianus asked.

Yeah I hear you as I’ve said I just want to compare the old book if they have it here because I’m going to read the content of what my father forbidden. Princess Athenusa keeps on finding the book that is similar to his father’s book.

My father told me also about that he said I’m still young to involve your thoughts is exactly the same as mine but I said to myself that I shouldn’t going to bother my mind. I am more focus on our project invention we only have one month to do that. Did you see anything?

No, I didn’t but I understand and you are right let’s more focus first in our inventions. The guy Icarus is desperately wanted to win the competition. I don’t underestimate him but I think he can’t win because of his attitude. Maybe he just act that way he is not a bad person and he just want to be his own self. Princess Athenusa said.

I agree with you I’ve heard his parents were the one who invented the automatic camera similar to the robot that is program to make movies.

Oh really wow! That’s really cool. His parents got the guts. I hope he would adapt the attitude of his parents but I don’t mind really let him do what he wants. Hey Adrianus!Look I found a book similar to the book of my father that he forbids me to read.

Let me see! The book is really look mysterious too old. We should read the content to know what was written.

As they read the book the time is not enough for the whole day but they research it on the net. They are wide readers it is easy for them and really fast.

Adrianus, let’s research the title of the book the CROSSOVER. They find it on the net and they read it abruptly the content of the book is very interesting. It’s all about the fantasy of a man saving their planet that has been in chaos. The story is really interesting. Do you agree?

Where are Glykeria and Elyseria? Princess Athenusa asked.

They are upstairs at the 5th floor.

Elyseria and Glykeria are busy looking and reading the old books. I’m going to call them so that we can start discussing our projects. I think it’s enough for me the information that I read in the net and I could say it is way different with what my father kept for a very long time. The book of my father is more interesting and mysterious than the book that we just read. I realize that I must set aside finding the content of the old book that my father forbid because I should set my mind in inventing new technology. I’ll try to look down here to gather insights about powerful inventions.

Okay that must be a better ideas my Princess.

As they walk around the library they meet Glykeria and Elyseria instead Athenusa would want to call them over phone.

Hey guys! I’m about to call you good thing you are here. How’s the library? Did you gather details for your inventions? Princess Athenusa asked.

Yes I found books they are really too old but I research on the net it is easier for me to read than scanning the book from page to page. Glykeria said.

Yeah me too I do the same thing. I read books that caught my attention then I search it on net for me to read easier. Elyseri said.

Princess Athenusa remembers the book that she is reading. She approaches Adrianus about it. Hey Adrianus! Have you notice the book that we’ve read a while ago about the man save his planet. Are you not curious what man is? I have no idea about it.

Yes I want to share but I don’t want to disturb my mind because I want us to be more focus on our inventions.

Hey guys! What is that all about? Glykeria asked.

What a mysterious story? Elyseria asked.

The old book that we found earlier me and Adrianus is curious what is the story inside the book. Maybe that book is similar to what my father keeps hidden to me. Princess Athenusa said.

I’ll try to ask my father about the man that save his planet. Adrianus said.

I am curious of the old book I want to know also. Elyseria said.

Maybe that is the secret that our parents keep hidden to us they don’t want to disturb our mind. Glykeria said.

Yes me too I’m really curious I would find the answers soon. Guys we should concentrate to our future inventions and I guess all of you already got ideas what to create. Adrianus said.

Yeah let’s focus to our inventions we should get back at the bench chairs outside of the library or we should take a break for a while I feel hungry a little. Princess Athenusa said.

All of them walking along the corridor where the exit designated and they are using elevator. The elevator is automatic you don’t need to click just speak what floor you want the elevator would take. They are stepping out to the elevator. They walk straight out of the library. Afterwards they go to their canteen where the food is ready to eat.

Guys let’s find tables and chairs for us. Princess Athenusa said. As they enter in the canteen their kinds are looking at them because of Athenusa. Athenusa is very famous in their planet because she is going to be the next ruler and leader. Aside from that she has beauty and there are no words you can describe her. She has everything, humble and down to earth that’s why their kinds really love her the way she is. They order the food they also have vegetables, fish and meat similar to human food. The tables and chairs are made of silver and gold. They are seating facing each other and they seldom talk when they eat.

The food is really sweet and delicious. Athenusa said after drinking water.

Yes the food taste so good that’s why I like to stay longer here sometimes because of the ambiance and the food. Adrianus said.

As they finish eating they walk outside of the canteen together with Elyseria and Glykeria. They agreed of what Adrianus and Athenusa talking to each other.

We should go outside at the bench so that we can smell the fresh air. Later we go back home to prepare our own inventions and connect the ideas that we gather. Princess Athenusa said.

They are walking towards the bench chairs and talking to each other.

I still couldn’t get over the old book in the library about the man maybe it has connection to my father’s book. Princess Athenusa said.

You should get over it my princess you’re losing your mind for complicating things. Can we talk about our future inventions? It is more interesting as of now. Adrianus said.

Yeah I agree with Adrianus you shouldn’t mind that Athenusa. Glykeria said.

That’s true we’re too young to discover mysterious things in our planet. In time whether we like it or not the truth will prevail no matter what happens. It would bother your mind Athenusa. Elyseria said.

Yeah you’re right guys I’m sorry for keep on repeating all over again. Athenusa said.

Guys, do you have any ideas what to invent? Glykeria said.

Yes I already have. Adrianus responded.

May I know your invention? Princess Athenusa asked.

Well for me I want to invent the ammunition but I might change it. Adrianus said.

It would be better if we shouldn’t share it for now our future inventions. Elyseria said.

Yes I agree with Elyseria it is way better to find out on the Day of Judgment to surprise each one of us. Glykeria said.

All right let’s see on final judgment day. Athenusa said.

Have you guys seen Basil? I didn’t see him today? Glykeria asked.

From what place are you come from Glykeria? Athenusa, Elyseria and Adrianus are laughing. You know we have been spending our time together today. Obviously we didn’t see him. Princess Athenusa said.

Oh I’m sorry I am just trying if you guys recognize him. Glykeria said while smiling at them.

You should try to call him. Elyseria said.

Yes later when I got home. Glykeria said.

I forgot to tell you this Glykeria I think I saw Basil on his way to our classroom a while ago in the morning. He was talking to Master Noman. Adrianus said.

Oh it is okay I would rather call him later. What are we going to do now? Glykeria asked.

It is almost 5:00 I think also about what to do. Elyseria said.

I am thinking what it is like to win the competition though it doesn’t matter to us but I just want to feel it. How about you guys? You also want to win? Princess Athenusa asked.

We already talk about this stuff and it doesn’t matter to us. Glykeria said.

As long as we can make and submit to Master Noman I think that’s enough. Elyseria said.

Making technology is interesting just like you guys it don’t matter to me if I win or lose as long as I can make technology to pass with Master Noman. Princess Athenusa said.

But Athenusa is giving me an idea to win and I think my father would really happy for me because in his time he won the competition. This is a big break for and I’m looking forward to that. Adrianus said.

It is getting dark guys I think we should go back home so that we can arrange and fix our things to use in our inventions. Princess Athenusa said.

I agree with Athenusa. Adrianus said.

All right let’s go home. Glykeria said.

Yes sure thing for us to take a rest also. Elyseria said.

All of them are walking towards the parking lot wherein they park their flying cars. Each of them rides their own cars on the way home. Athenusa arrives in the palace she goes to her room just like with her friends Glykeria and Elyseria. Adrianus go to their underground place wherein the advance technology of his father displayed. Athenusa take a rest on her bed while playing her talking cell phone. She is searching again for her invention. She already got an idea what to create and she save it in her brain. She stands because she remembers to greet her mother and her father is always busy that’s why sometimes they can’t talk to each other. She goes downstairs to the kitchen room where her mother preparing for the dinner

Hi mother! Good evening just got home. She kisses her mother in her cheeks. Princess Athenusa said.

Oh yes dear I’m preparing for your food take a seat. What are your plans for tonight? Queen Beringaria asked.

Well Mom after eating I’m going to father’s building and to his sacred room place. He allows me to use it but the old book he forbids there’s a lock code in which I don’t know so I couldn’t read the book.

All right my dear Princess I understand at your right age he is going to tell you about it but you should prioritize first your project. You may eat your dinner my Princess.

Athenusa starting to eat her dinner but his father is not around.

King Aspen investigating the building, new technologies that his armies inventing. He manages everything on his planet. Hence, Athenusa just finish his dinner.

I have to go to the building wherein the old technology displayed .I’ll gather ideas in there.

Yes dear you can go. You want me to go with you or you need assistance?

I’m fine mother it is okay. Athenusa said while flipping her long hair. She didn’t change her clothes walking through outside of their palace. As she landed in the parking lot of the building she forgot to ask the code of the building so that she could enter. She calls his father asking for the code.

Hello father! Are you busy?

The phone rings of King Aspen he picks it up. Yes I’m a little bit busy. Why my princess? Is there any problem? King Aspen asked.

Yes father, can I disturb you for a while? I couldn’t enter in your building I forgot to ask the code. May I know the code? Athenusa asked.

It is your name and put 37 after your name. I name it to you because you will be the next leader of our planet. King Aspen responded.

Thanks a lot father. Both of them turn off the phone. As she got the code she abruptly speaks the code and the door automatically open. The door open she is really surprise of what she sees. There are tons of inventions that you could see all over the building. It’s a two storey she keeps on observing around the building thinking what to invent that didn’t exist yet in their planet. She figure out what to invent it is the transparent advance talking computer made of glass and silver. All the resources are exactly in the building. Meanwhile she remembers to call Adrianus because she really couldn’t get out of her head the old book. The phone rings. Adrianus receives the call.

Hello Adrianus! Are you there? Are you busy? I just want to ask. Athenusa asked.

Yes I’m always here for you. What’s the problem and what do you want to ask?

It is about the man on the book who saves his planet.

Here we go again. Are you really not going to leave it? Why are you so much interested? That book is just a book and what was written on that book is just a fantasy story. You don’t need to bother yourself. It can make you stress for thinking that doesn’t even exist.

Yes I hear you Adrianus but you know I really have an instinct that we have connection towards the man and his people on his own planet. Athenusa said.

If I were you I wouldn’t bother myself come on my Princess Athenusa we have to prioritize our invention. There’s always timing for everything but now we are still too young to discover mysterious things around our planet.

So bye for now I have a lot of things I need to finish. Adrianus said.

Meanwhile the two girls Glykeria and Elyseria are also gathering details for their inventions. As Glykeria landed in the parking lot of their house she sees Basil again up in the tree. Basil calls her name.

Hey Glykeria I’ve been waiting for you. I didn’t see you around the campus. Basil said.

Can you get down here so that we can talk clearly? Glykeria asked.

Yes sure I’m going down I would really want to talk to you. Basil gets down talking to Glykeria.

What do you want to talk about? Glykeria asked.

I just want to talk about the technology that we are going to invent but I really want to see you.

Okay let’s go inside I’m going to introduce you to my parents. Are you interested? Is it fine with you? Don’t be nervous they are cool parents but I have to be more honest with them because they all just want the best of me. I don’t like secrets because I always want to be open with them all the time.

All right! I’ll try not to get nervous since this is my first time to introduce to your parents. Basil said.

No you don’t have to I swear they are fine parents. They are okay with somebody who I want to be with. You’re going to like them as you get along. Glykeria said.

As they walk towards the house Basil follows Glykeria inside of their house. Glykeria find her mother where she is.

Hey Mom! I’m home where are you? There’s someone I want to introduce you. Her mother is upstairs at the 2nd floor. You may sit first Basil because I’m going to find my mother upstairs.

Basil is sitting at the balcony watching TV while waiting for Glykeria. Glykeria knocks the door and her mother opens it.

Oh Glykeria my dear I didn’t notice you are here. She kisses Glykeria in her cheeks.

Yes Mom there is someone I would like to introduce.

You mean someone is courting you. Oh dear you are starting to grow and you’re beauty. Calaintha said.

That’s not what you think Mom I’m still young maybe after I finish my studies I am ready to commit. He is in the balcony I’ll introduce him to you. By the way Mom, where’s Pop?

They have elevator in their house but seldom they use if it is convenient for them. They prefer use stairs sometimes. As they go downstairs to the balcony. Glykeria introduce her mother to Basil.

Hey Basil! This is my mother her name is Calaintha you can call her Aunt Calaintha and Mom this is Basil my classmate. He rides on his own wings. Glykeria said.

Meanwhile, they heard the door that someone is coming and it is Dabney the father of Glykeria.

Hey guys I’m sorry I am late to come home I need to finish my errand. Dabney said.

Pop I would like you to meet Basil my classmate. Glykeria said.

Who’s this guy? Dabney asked.

He is my classmate Pop I just told you.

Oh I see why he is here? Dabney Asked.

He is going to help me about our inventions it is better to create technology you know Pop two is better than one. Glykeria said.

Basil shakes hands to Dabney. Hello Mr. Dabney I’m Basil.

By the way you can call me Uncle Dabney since you are a friend of my loving daughter. Dabney said.

Yes Uncle Dabney thank you for accepting me to be a friend of your daughter I feel nervous. Basil said.

Thank you again Aunt Calaintha and Uncle Dabney I respect both of you a lot. Don’t worry I’m not going to hurt or pressure your daughter. I’m willing to wait anytime she wants. I’m always at her side anytime she needs me.

All right Basil! We understand you. I’ve been through with that the door is always open for you. Dabney said.

Pop thanks for appreciating Basil but we have to go. We’re on our way to our garage. Bye Mom and Pop. They walk towards the exit door.
