“What’s wrong?” Ronan rushed back to me.
I shook my head and quickly stood up to find the clearing pulsed with shock and disbelief as a rogue dove over the waterfall's edge with Grace in his arms. He vanished into the night-mist below.
“No…” I clenched my fists.
I could only stare, numb, disbelieving. Everything in me screamed as I failed to act in time. More than that, Alpha Jude and Alpha Gideon’s state was alarming.
