Chapter 56: Hospital Stays Are Never Pleasant

“You’re finally awake!” Ken was over the moon with happiness as he came to the hospital and found out that Albert was finally aware.
“Ugh… The operation might have been hard on me I still feel a lot of pain everywhere…” Albert said with a bit of a pained voice but he was smiling.
“It was a scary wound and he lost a lot of blood but he is okay. We managed to treat him in time.” The nurse said as she watched the happy interaction.
“Thank God you’re okay Albert… You have no idea how worried I was for you.” Despite this being hard to admit to John truly felt that way. He had prayed that his friend would recover completely.
“It was quite the shock to all of us…” Jennifer said as she looked at the man who seemed to be feeling much better.
