Episode 6: Decisions and Love

Sometimes the decisions we make in our lives change our lives for better or worse. Some decisions bring responsibility, while others lead to a dead end in our lives, but we get through this situation thanks to the people who are with us. Throughout my life, I focused on my career and did not accept anyone into my life until Nico entered my life. Even though the choice I made by rejecting this job affected my career life, I knew that I could get over it in the lightest way because I did not feel sad when I thought about my love for Nico and the beautiful memories we would have with him. I knew that I could still do good things in my career by working here. I could direct my career here too.

''I didn't think you would reject it so quickly, Sofia.''

When I said, "You can only understand me when you are in love, Henry, I will continue my position here. Besides, we have a project we have just signed, let's start working on it, what are you waiting for, go to the meeting?", Henry said that he had other things to do and left the company. When I went to my secretary and told her to call the employees to the meeting, while I was talking to Henry, I saw the person standing behind Henry and silently eye-tracked him. When he entered an empty place, I secretly followed him and when I slowly opened the door and started listening to his conversation, I realized that he was the mole in the company. When I heard him reporting to someone, I realized that he was the mole in the company. I walked away silently, showed that man to my secretary, told her to arrange a man to follow him, and went to the meeting room and told them how the work we had done was going. And when I listened to the presentations prepared by the employees, I asked some employees to add more details to the presentation and informed them that they could stay overtime until the delivery date. After the meeting, I went to my office, signed the files to be signed, gave the files to my secretary and asked, "What did you do about the issue I told you?" He said that I should not worry and that they were following the man and left the office. When I called Riyya and told her that I did not accept the job offer, her voice broke for a moment and I laughed loudly when Riyya's wife picked up the phone and told me that she was having a crisis of happiness. He took the phone from his wife and continued talking: "Does Nico know how you gave up? Or did he convince you?" When he started asking questions one after another out of excitement, I told him to calm down. "Nico has no information yet, When I said "I'm in love, girl, I can't leave him here alone!", he laughed and said that the plan he made for me worked and continued laughing. "Nico, don't say anything and come to help me!" and hung up the phone. As soon as I hung up the phone, after completing my last work, we left the office, met with Riyya for birthday preparations, bought decorations, scented candles, and Nico's favorite fruit cake and went home. When we got home, we started the preparations. While Riyya was preparing the table, I decorated the surroundings. I hung a few photos taken with Nico on the bright ropes I bought before and decorated the wall. When the preparations were finished, we texted Nico that I was leaving work early and we started waiting for him to come home from work. I invited Nico's childhood friend via social media. I thought you would be very surprised when you saw Nico. When it was time for Nico to leave work, we turned off the lights and started waiting for him. When I saw the lights of his car hitting the window, I told everyone to be quiet and waited. At that moment, I remembered that Nico did not have a key to my house, so I immediately left the door ajar and hid without being seen by him. When Nico came to the door, he called out my name, but we didn't leave. He opened the door, took off his shoes, put on his slippers, walked towards the living room and stopped. At that moment, we turned on the lights and shouted "surprise" with everyone. Nico looked shocked at that moment. I approached him with the cake in my hand and made him blow out the candles. At that moment, when I approached him and showed him his childhood friend, they hugged each other with happiness and patted each other on the back. When Nico came towards me and picked me up from where I was at that moment and started spinning me around, I told him that I was dizzy and asked him not to stop. When he gently took me off his lap and said, "You're doing all this to make me sad that you're leaving, aren't you?", I told him that I wouldn't go. I said that and went to the kitchen to get a drink. Since he didn't understand what I meant at that moment, he came to me and asked me again. I told him that I wouldn't go. At that moment, when he pulled me towards him and kissed me, everyone who saw this was applauding, screaming and congratulating us. At that moment, I understood that I had made the right decision. I was happy. And as I looked at Nico more than ever, my heart was beating faster, it was just like the first day. My excitement and our love grew stronger and more intense. When the music playing at that moment was a slow dance song, Nico took my hand and put his hand on it.He gave me a kiss and invited me to dance, at that moment he put his hand on my waist and held my hand with his other hand and we started dancing. As the music got faster, Nico was pulling me towards him and leaving me behind. At that moment, we continued to dance with him without taking our eyes off each other. When the music ended, we were out of breath. At that moment, we found an empty seat on the sofa and sat down. When some of our friends said that they wanted to play a game, Nico and I looked into our eyes and thought about accepting it, Riyya intervened and said a game and started the game first. After playing games and having a good time, everyone said that it was late and left. When we were finally left alone at home with Nico, I started to clean up the mess left from the party. When Nico came to me and said, "Where is the gift you bought?" He took the gift box and opened it. I bought him a watch and perfume. He looked at the gift, put the box in front of my make-up mirror, approached me and hugged me, "Thank you for this day, I'm very happy, thanks to you, I'm glad you came into my life, I love you." When he said that I couldn't hear the last word he said, he approached my ear and whispered, "I love you, Sofia." Hearing these words at that moment made me even happier. When I said "I love you too, Nico", he pulled me towards him and started kissing me on the lips. We were starting to enjoy the moment without worrying about the mess around us. When we said we loved each other, our love was strengthened. I felt like our love reached its peak at that moment. We were now sure of our feelings. In the morning, when I asked Nico to help me clean up the mess left over from the evening before going to work, he immediately agreed and started sweeping the floors and collecting and washing the dishes. After tidying up, we drove our own cars to work so as not to be late for our work. When I came to the company, I told my secretary to come to my room, I entered my room, sat at my desk and started to look at the documents. When my secretary knocked on the door, I told her to come in and asked her to close the door. "Tell me what our mole did." When I realized that his main purpose was the project when Liam told me that he was meeting, he said to my secretary, "We can't work for the company, it's a project." I asked him to send me a message saying, "Let's do this, inform those working on the project that there will be a meeting at my house this evening." Everyone who left the company normally came to my house for the meeting. At the meeting, I asked them to do the project in line with the information and the wishes of the customers. When I said, "You will prepare a show project for the company and you will finish the real project here and deliver it to me, excess salary will be paid", everyone was working in a motivated manner. We were trying to help them where they could not reach and reduce their work. At that moment, there was a knock on the door, and when I turned to the door, I saw Nico coming, invited me in and went back to my work. When I started to prepare the remaining documents on my computer, I got distracted when Nico started asking questions, so I took him outside, gave him his coat and sent him home, and we sat in front of the computer and continued playing. When the hours started to get late, I sent the employees home and told them that it wouldn't be a problem if they came to the company late tomorrow. After closing the door, stuffing the documents on the table and putting them away, I went to my room to sleep. I fell asleep on my bed because I was tired. When the morning came, we quickly got ready, went to work and left early to look like we were working there. I arranged a meeting plan to appease Nico, who got angry because we were working hard for 3 weeks and did not have much time for Nico. We ate, chatted, took lots of photos and walked on the beach. We spent time together until the sun set. When the day of delivery of the work came, I took the offer and the project as we agreed and passed it on. The fake one was caught by the police when Liam took the mole and told it to him. Liam finally confessed his crime and went to prison to serve his sentence. As the intensity of work decreased, we continued our sports session and meetings with Nico from where we left off. Our project was chosen as the best project of the year and thus won me an award. We went to the shopping mall with Nico to choose the outfit I would wear at the award ceremony. After choosing my clothes, we went home to prepare for the award ceremony. Seeing Nico in a suit for the first time amazed me even more. When Nico got ready and waited in the living roomWhen I took the outfit I bought out of the box and put it on, I looked both sexy and stylish in the outfit. When I put on my necklace and high heels to complete my outfit, I left the room and walked towards the left, Nico slowly turned his face towards me, the loving looks in his eyes were piercing my heart, at that moment he started to approach me. When he came up to me and said, "You are like the star of the night", I said that I was, and in order not to be late for the ceremony, we got into our cars and arrived at the ceremony. I saw Henry at the door, saw the girl on his arm, and without asking who she was, Henry approached my ear and said, "I found the love of my life, thanks to the offer you did not accept." I was happy for him. When I congratulated them and went in, I hugged Nico's arm tightly and got support so as not to faint from excitement. I sat at the table reserved for us and waited for my name to be called. When the name was read, I stood up and went on stage to receive my award. "Hello, I'm sorry, I'm very excited, first of all, I'm receiving this award on behalf of all my employees." When I received my award and got off the stage, Nico came to me and said, "Let's go now, we'll be late," he grabbed my arm and started running when we got in the car. 'I planned a romantic holiday, we are going to the airport.' I couldn't believe that Riyya took her joke so seriously and went on a holiday. I still couldn't believe that I met Nico on social media and found the love of my life, especially what love had done to a career-minded person like me. I gave up everything for him. Thanks to this decision I made, my life changed for the better because I chose love. Love can come when you least expect it and disrupt your balance.
