Salvation 3: Ellum City

"So this is  Ellum City, it was so quiet around here. Like any moment someone might ambushed us" Tristan commented as he used his hearing ability. He's wearing a white thawb covered with red prince tunic paired with black trousers

It was noontime and the area turned to orange in their eyes. It was too hot. The teleportation station was 5 kilometers away from these place.

The city was made with raw stones and mud bricks shape to buildings. The houses were partitioned with a wall while only a doors can be seen open. Windows were closed lock as it telling someone went out and didn't lock the door.

Some were built into 3 story or has another floor above. The streets were dried clay. No trace of any vehicle or tracks of any creatures.

" Are you sure this place seems weird. The land was dry and the trees were dead. They might died from hunger, here"  Anastacia stated as she tighten her grip on her backpack. She's wearing a blue fairy dress but it was cover with long gray hooded cloak a scarf was around her neck covering half of her face while I wear a simple black thawb covered with white prince tunic paired with black trouser .It was layered with hooded black cloak.

" It was too hot. Let's find a place to stay for a night, here. We need to observe the place. " I said.

" Ok"

"I agree, our water might not enough if keep standing here for long." Tristan added.

They walked toward to an inn. It has same structured with other buildings they passed but there's a carved wood hanging in front written "Basil Inn".

They were shocked to saw a child working on the counter.  It was a three story building with a lawn area. The counter was made with carved woods with height of 1 meter from the ground.

The place inside was made with woods. Dusk was everywhere and it looks empty.

" Hey! where's the people around her? Why are you alone working here?" Tristan asked as he bents to look the kid.

" I can't tell anything just stay away here" he answered as he step back.

" Why?" Anastacia answered feeling confused.

" Because they'll come to get you." the boy answered. He's expression turned pale and scared was shown on his face.

" Who?" Tristan asked again.

" Those ghost in the night" he scared answered.

" Hey! relaxed will help you. Can we stay here? I'm Anastacia. He's Tristan and that's Alyck" Anastacia stated making her hood fall down. The boy surprise to see her face.

" You're so beautiful, big sister Anastacia. I'm Jonas Swan" the boy uttered. This boy knows how to flattered someone. He has black hair paired with his tired dark circled shining brown eyes staring at Anastacia. He wears a blue shirt covered with jersey jacket closed until his chest paired blue  short.

" Hahaha, thank you. Why are you alone here." she asked making him sit near to her. He might be comfortable to be with Anastacia.

" Oh buddy, this boy got your girl already hahaha" Tristan teased.

" Shut up and check the area. We need to be sure that this place is safe."

" Fine I'll check upstairs. You check outside. " he replied.

While they check the place where they'll be staying. Anastacia listened to the boy's story.

Once the area was checked and considered safe they went back to were the two talking. Alyck closed the inn's door.

"Fairy force magic!" Anastacia enchanted as the whole room was covered with force field magic. It was place inside to stop intruders barging without them knowing.

" Better be safe than cry later" she added.

" You're magic was useful, Anastacia. It's good we bring you along with us." Tristan uttered and smiled.

The boy stunned and amazed by Anastacia's magic and felt more safe that he concludes their safety as he tells the story.

" It was crowded here before. Travelers rode and drop goods here. Everything was so alive but when I woke up one night. I saw people walked like they were possess or something magic manipulated .The place was covered with dark magic air. I got scared and hide under my bed.  My father was also taken like some dark force air pulling every sleep people. Children, men, women or even animals. I left here alone since I'm the only one didn't sleep that night. I was been 4 days ago that I keep roaming around to get some foods in different houses here to stay alive. I don't want to left this place, my father might come back and find me. I'm about to check this place if there's some food to eat when saw me. I live few blocks from here. When I saw you three I was somewhat relieved but scared that you might as well gone like those people. Can you help to find my father and other people here? You have magic that might help you get them back" the plead to Anastacia as he clutching his jacket down.

" We'll find a way to get them back but for now we'll stay here" Anastacia replied as she pats the boy's head.

"We will stay here for the night you can stay with us. " I answered making his head turned to me.

" Since this is an inn. I'm sure it has complete food. I can cook for dinner" Tristan presented.

" That would be great !" Anastacia exclaimed.

"Thank you!" the boy ran towards me and hug my waist making me surprise.

" You're starting to soften, Alyck that's good news." Tristan grinned.

" Shut up stupid. Just go and cook. Stop blabbering nonsense." I snorted.

" Hahaha, cute Alyck" Anastacia amusedly laughed.

This is why I don't want to bring her along they keep pestering me.

" I'll help you. Tristan" the boy spoke and followed Tristan. He might be hungry.

" So how's outside any peculiar?" Anastacia asked as she eyed me intently. She's sitting on the wooden chair for guest while crossing her arms.

" I can't determine yet but this place is hunted. We might find some clues tonight. " I said and set across her .

" This place is south west of WIC's Land which rich in grasslands and bearing trees but now all I see were dried places. No water or even plants live. Some might used powerful magic to this place to lose everything around." Anastacia stated.

" Guys, we found some can goods, noodles and some meat here. Anastacia can you enchant water for us ?I will cook here instead the kitchen was so lonely." Tristan answered.

He walked in bringing a clay stove along with woods and place it in the clay ground. Near us. Jonas bring the the pot that has meats and noodles inside.

" Ok , Fairy water bubble" Anastacia enchanted raising her hands above. A ball of water floats above the pot and fall as Anastacia let go.

" Wow, I wish I can be fairy too. Big sister Anastacia's magic was so cool" Jonas amazedly exclaimed.

" Yah! I have good magic too. I'm cooler than Anastacia. " Tristan butted in as he lighted a fire at get the pot from Jonas and place it on the clay stove.

" I don't even know your magic yet you tell me your cooler."

" I am, watch" Tristan formed into wolf then to Lycan letting Jonas's eyes widen.

I stand and walked towards Anastacia and covered her eyes.

" Stupid you can't do that here. Go change you i***t!" I yelled at him.

Tristan realized his stupidity and ran to the kitchen to change as he bring his clothes.

" You're not cooler than my big sister Anastacia. " Jonas commented.

" Yah! you're so mean. I won't give you the food I'm cooking. " Tristan argued as he walked in back.

" Alyck, you can let my eyes go now. " Anastacia muttered as I let go my hand. She turned her body and clung her arms around my neck.

" You're protective than I thought" she smirked as I rolled my eyes on her.

" It's just inappropriate -" Tsupp!

My eyes widen as a soft lips landed my lips again. I step back fast and glared at her. This girl never give me warning with her action and wipe my lips.

" Hahaha, you're too cute, Alyck. Look at your red face. It's like tomato" she teased.

" Shut up or I'll throw you outside. You kiss stealer." I hissed.

" You two were together?" Jonas asked as he walked near Anastacia.

" Yeah, baby boy. Alyck is my fiancè. That cold headed one was hard to please but good in many things" Anastacia whispered making the boy looked at me.

" Oh!, then he's cooler to catch your attention" he whispered back.

" What are you two talking?" Alyck cringed her eyebrows towards the two.

" Yeah, she is." Anastacia whispered again.

" Ahw, I miss my Carter .With you two I became third wheel. Damn it. I shouldn't supported this trip." Tristan dramatically complained.

The noon turned night as they settled they way to their rooms. Anastacia let Jonas sleep with her room. It has two bed in every room that used for travelers. Jonas sleep fast since he was awake for four days.

" We'll check the place. You can stay here with him. I'll cast a protection barrier for you two. " I said as I saw Anastacia brushes Jonas hair.

" Be careful, I don't want to be single before getting married." she seriously replied and stared intently.

"Don't worry Anastacia, I can assured you she'll be safe" Tristan smiled making her nodded.

" Let's go"

Alyck casted a light magic barrier around the whole inn and 3 separate buildings far from it as decoys.

As the magic detected by lurking dark magic users they easily went towards the area. Alyck watch the abnormalities above as Tristan stay on the ground as bait.

10 demons rushed to Tristan. As they saw him standing they surrounded him.

" Who are you? Why are you here?" One of the dark cloak man asked.

" I'm just walking around but found some amusing things here. I never thought you'll run across to find me. How flattering? " Tristan stated as he activated his senses.

" Dark mind manipulation!" a man enchanted releasing a black magic towards Tristan.

" God Divine Exterminator Ray!" Alyck casted as a full force of light from above flow down making the 10 shocked with the attacked they can't counter as their magic was suck to light. They're magic was suck as their body lose the natural magic and decomposed.

" Ahhhhh!!!!" they shouted as they turned to dust in instant.

" Damn that was powerful magic, remind me not to teased you or I'll end up like that" Tristan uttered as he look at Alyck above.

" We're just starting. Hundreds were coming!" Alyck stated as she rushed to the group.

" Alyck !!! " Tristan shouted as he run and followed her. She didn't listen and attacked them

" God Divine Converge! " Alyck enchanted as both of her opened hand release magic and from arc of light. It was so huge that 3/4 was wipe out their dark magic and faint. Half of her strength deflated.

" Alyck, stop being reckless! "Tristan yelled.

" I'm not being reckless. I need to protect you from them." Alyck answered as she flew down. She needs to reserved her magic first before released another.

" You don't need to. I'm here to help you and avenge my mother's murderer." Tristan replied and gritted his teeth.

" I know then let finished these shits before their boss came. " Alyck said and unsheathed her fantasy sword.

" You f*****g bastards!" Tristan shouted as they rush a hundred of dark users.

" Kill them! Dark nebula!" a fat man casted. He's wearing butcher clothes.

" Fantasy Sword Magic s***h " Alyck slashed his magic and knock him out with a kick.

" Alyck, I think these were people from these city. They were manipulated to used black magic." Tristan inspect the fainted people.

" Then I need to wiped them all."

" No you can't you fight if more to come" Tristan replied.

" We can't let them possess these magic. Help me regain later. " Alyck answered as she flew up and sheathed her sword. She can't hurt the people and the only thing she can do was used her magic.

" God Divine Converge!" Alyck casted again. The remaining hundred dark users fainted as Alyck's magic strength weaken.

" Alyck!" Tristan catches her before she falls. She lost 60% of her magic.

" Now, they're safe. " Alyck uttered.

"You need to rest, Alyck. Let's gather the people first. " Tristan stated as he put Alyck to sit in the corner.

" Fine, you do that yourself. " Alyck answered.

Tristan wakes the fainted people. They were shocked as they found themselves out side their home.

" What an interesting scene so you're the person who stop my magic and my guards" a silver haired man with green eyes wearing a blue prince tunic paired with white leggings and black long boots. He has a red cloak around him as he flew towards Tristan. The people gathered his back scared.

" How amusing a hybrid like you used dark magic to possess people. You're magic might not enough. How sad" Tristan replied slyly.

" Guess what you'll experience what's real magic is. I'm Von Luxx the new vampire king that will rule the whole Ellum City. Insect like you don't deserve to be part of it. Dark arrow!" a black huge arrow shoots directly to Tristan. He dodges it but the people behind him can't.

" God Mirage!"

They turned their heads to Alyck as they were protected with her light magic against the arrow.

" A God user, your highness!" a old woman said making everyone shocked as they felt relieve and bowed their knees

"Your highness! blessed us with your strong will."

" Oh so you're a God. I never thought a royal still exist my father said you're all wiped out but he was wrong since you're still alive. " Von spoke as he smirked in fascination.

It was his first time to encounter a God magic user.

" Are all vampires annoying?" Alyck coly uttered as she glanced at Tristan. Tristan nodded and signal the people to move back and leave.

" Such arrogant God magic user. You're arrogant attitude doesn't deserve to be in that magic. I'll take it from you after I'll kill you" Von stated as he smiled evilly.

" Hmm, let see, stupid " Alyck answered and unsheathed her sword.

" Dark sword!" Von casted.

The two clashed their sword as strong wind release with impact.

" Dark hammer!" Von's left hand turned hammer and punch Alyck's side as she was thrown to the wall hard.

A loud noise can be heard as the building collapsed. Alyck spit a blood from the impact. She still needs to recover her magic. She was about to stand when she felt a healing magic.

" Anastacia, what are you doing here?"

" I can't stand worrying you and letting you die here. What's the used of my magic if I don't used it for you. " she seriously replied and healed my magic. She's giving her magic to me.

" Anastacia , you're wasting your magic"

" Shut up!, we need to win against that i***t so let me give you these. Defeat him." she stated.

Alyck never thought she'll be seriously willing to give her magic to boost hers. It makes her heart warm for some reason.

On the other hand, Tristan ran towards Von and attack him fast with his claws and kicks but Von dodged it and kick back throwing Tristan in a distance.

" Dog was such nuisance!" Von yelled.

" Dark arc! " Von released a huge black arc above Tristan as it falls dark inks like rain. It was a dark acid rain. Tristan used his speed dodging Von's acid rain as he went near him.

" You're trick won't work on me! " Tristan punched him hard making Von flew back with his track and spit blood.

" Dark dual sword!" Von dashed towards Tristan. They clashes with claws and dark sword. Tristan transform to Lycan and used his strength to push Von but he countered it with dark magic.

" God speed!" Alyck enchanted as she restored 80% of her magic restored.

Alyck punched Von stomach as Tristan seconded it with a kick making Von vomit with blood.

" How dare you mere insect!" Von yelled.

" God Divine Exterminator Ray! Full Force" Alyck enchanted. This power was so strong that dark magic user sucked its magic  until its negative but Alyck will cut half of her magic strength on it.

A huge light was released from the sky and hit Von making him drop to the ground.

" Ahhhhh!!!" Von screamed as he's body start to decomposed.

"You might defeat me but you won't live long, insect!" He added as he's body turned to ashes.

"We made it!" Anastacia shouted as the sun start to shine.

" Oh yeah!!!" Tristan shouted as he run towards Alyck and hug her.

" Yah! let me go! stupid. "Alyck complain as she tried to push him.

" Hahaha, the sun makes this battle bright" a man interrupted them.

They look those people they save from dark magic. They were smiling as Jonas hold the man's hand.

" You must be Alyck Krion of Gods and Goddess Clan. Your highness! " They all kneel both knees in front of Alyck aa their head down.

" Stand up! people of Ellum City" Alyck stated. They all followed and smiled at her.

" You' re so cool Alyck!" Jonas exclaimed and ran towards her. He hug his waist and widely smiled.

" Thank you for bringing father back" he added.

" It was nothing kiddo!" Tristan replied and raffled his hair.

" Yah! you're not Alyck!" he reacted and swatted his arm.

" We'll help restore your city before we go. It is part of Alkon Kingdom and I can't leave this place empty." Alyck said making everyone cheered.

Alkon Kingdom was huge that Alyck wasn't able to look and visit. After 10 years, she finally able to step on one of her land. People still recognized her even it was already 10 years ago. She was young and incompetent to ask for any help around her.   

" I'm Jason , father of Jonas. Thank you for protecting my son. Your highness we will follow your orders as you are now came back. We, the people in Ellum City will be in your grace" A man said with black hair and green eyes to Anastacia then turned to Alyck put his fist on his right chest. 

" It was nothing, I'm Anastacia, fiancè of Alyck. This cold ass fiance of mine was not a talker. I hope you understand." She answered making the people surprise and smiled wide.

" We were grateful already that our princess has returned. It was a gift from the heaven that they give us hopes to live and fight." a old lady added as other followed her and surrounded them. 

" Hail! to the next queen! Hail to Alyck Krion!" The cheered as they all claps their hands in happiness.

" Don't be embarrassed. This is just the beginning, babe" Anastacia whispered to Alyck's ear.

"Alyck you'll be the queen? not a king?. Buddy you should clarify it. People this buddy of mine don't like to be called that. I'm suggesting you to address her as Your Highness "Tristan stated making the people look at Alyck who blankly stand behind Tristan.

"  Hail to Your Highness, Hail to Alyck Krion!" Jonas exclaimed loud making everyone followed

" Oh yeah , Hail! " Tristan joined the cheer as Alyck faced palm on the event.

" Time to bring Ellum City back!!!" Tristan yelled.

" Yeah!!!" everyone shouted as they raise their fist on the air except Alyck remain silent.

" What a place..." Alyck muttered making Anastacia giggled at her.
