PAID CRIMES

Station 3: NEW World

"s**t you!, Rudolf!" I shouted as was falling from the sky fast towards the ocean.

"God Divine!"  I casted as I closed my eyes.

Alyck float before she falls on the ocean. It was wide blue ocean that you can see which is the end of it. 

"s**t you monkey! How am I supposed to know which part is that trench located?"

"You can ask for help on those people in an island on the East. You can't use your magic to the  extend that you’ll create a hole on the ocean. It will cause world’s chaos and you can’t let the millions of people’s lives died by just a sword, don’t you? Find another way." Rudolf butted in.

"Fine!" I defeated answered.

Alyck flew fast to the east and found an island with tan people. The island has beautiful white beach sand as the waves turn to mix with it and people were  having fun riding on a board along those waves

Alyck flew down on the deck. Observing the people as how they wear and do.

"Welcome to Hawaii. We can offer you board and lodging for only 2000 dollars per night. You'll add 1000 for free tour and additional 1000 for surfing gears. We can offer as well boats to the Pacific Ocean. I'm Macky at your service "the tan man said as Alyck perk to the last part.He was wearing sando and cargo shorts. He has built body and shoulder length blond hair. His blue eyes were looking at me encouragingly.

"I don't have any, I can't pay you" I answered as his smiling face turn to frowned.

"Oh man! with your charming face you don't have any money in your pocket?"

"Yeah, I was thrown here without anything to bring." I answered as I take off the winter clothes. It was so hot to wear thick clothes in a broad daylight.

"Oh, you must have suffered bad. What's your name, man?" He uttered as he saw my scar on my arm. I'm wearing a white t-shirt with shorter sleeves and black pants.

"I'm Alyck. How can I earn money here? I need to pay you to help me go in the deepest trench on Pacific Ocean" I said making his eyes widen.

"What? Are you insane? No one human can go to the Mariana Trench with just boat. You need a submarine dude and it will cause much money to rent one." He exclaimed as he eyed me crazily.

"Then, can you tell me how to get the fastest money to pay you?" I asked curiously.

There are passersby glancing them specifically at  Alyck but it is because they were talking in the center of the path way. She was no different from other tourist they saw on the island even her appearance was unique. They think she was a just tourist in contact lens.

"Ok fine, I'll help you but you need to help me as well. I have this girl who I've been in love for longer time but I don't know to confess and asked her to be my girlfriend" he said as he beckon me to come close but I didn't move instead he put his arm around my shoulder.

Alyck thinks about the deal would help her on the trench and went back fast then she decided to agree.

"Ok"

"Oh yeah !, let's go. We have a big event today!"

Alyck and Macky reached to an open sand bar. Some couples were enjoying their time in the bar.

A black curly haired girl was on the bar counter checking for every items on her list when Alyck and Macky walked toward her direction.

"Alyck, that's Mona ,the girl I like but she didn't know I like her." Macky whispered.

"Hi Mona, how's the bar today?" Macky said when they were in front of the girl.

"Hi Macky, you're early today. Who's with you?" Mona smiled at them as she settled her checking to an employee and look at them.

"This is Alyck my new friend. He needs a work that will earn a night. I know you have here so I endorse him to you if his qualified." Macky replied and smiled as his eyes glitters on the girl.

"Oh sure, he can start now. The bar will be full tonight and waiters will be short so he's perfect for it." she answered and glanced at Alyck making Macky frowned.

"Nice to meet you, Alyck. I'm Mona the bar owner" Mona uttered as she smiled. Her smiles that curve into white crescent that has dimples both side making her cheekbones cute.

"Nice to meet you as well, Mona. Thank you for the job. I'll be looking forward working with you." Alyck replied with a curve smile.

"Thanks to Macky here, I won't be able to know this good place if I didn't meet him. He's a good guy" Alyck added as she diverted the attention to Macky's frowning face and turned into smiling wide.

"Yow! It's nothing as long as I can help a friend like you."

"Hahaha, he is, Alyck but he doesn't look on his good side." Mona supported Alycks compliment and eyed Macky secretly.

"It's not true, Mona." Macky replied making her laugh.

"Ok you can start now, Alyck. You can change your clothes with this." Mona gave a colorful polo with prints of beach. 

"Ok, thanks."

Alyck observe the other waiters on how they work then do the same. People gathered fast as the bar pack with people. Macky performs fire dancing while Mona sings with love songs.

"Wohhhh!" the crowd cheered as they performance ended. Other performs followed while Alyck serves faster than other waiters.

"Now, our sing-a-long segment. Any on the crowd can sing any of your songs you love the just raise your hand to be called." the announcer said as everyone cheered.

Alyck busy serving in front near the stage when a drunk man wanted to trip her but her reflects was fast as she steped back fast making her on stand the stage. 

"Oh we have a volunteer from our waiters. What song will you sing?" the announcer asked people were waiting for her to answer as Macky on the side encourage her.

"I don't sing" I answered making crowd say "Ohh". I never sing before. Mona walked near me and whisper "If you sing, I'll pay you double.

My eyes widen as Macky frowned. Crowd cheered and whistle of the scene we have in the stage. She smiled showing her dimples as I sighed.

"I can't sing but I can play those string instrument." I answered making her amused.

"So you can play guitar then I'll sing. You play the guitar." she offered making the announcer confirm the performance.

"Let's welcome our first performer!" he said as the crowd cheered.

Alyck strummed the strings as her fingers flick every strand of it. She's thinking it as harp. She used to play when she was young.

I used to play harp where my aunts and mom loved to hear. They always clap and hug me after I performed. Those smiles brought good memories.

I miss them.

Mona closed her eyes as she listened and start to sing in solemn. The couples look at each other as they feel the romance of every words Mona sing and meet Macky's eyes. His eyes were sad that she wanted to make it happy.

As she sings she went down and dragged Macky on the stage making him shocked. Alyck smiled on how couple hide their feelings for each other.

They look at each other's eyes with happiness. Macky can't help but smiled wide showing his white perfect teeth.

When they finished the performance the crowd cheered louder. Macky takes the chance to confess.

"Mona, I've been your friend since we're kids as we both grow up together and my life became more colorful day by day. Every time I see you my heart pound wild. I've wanted this moment to happen to say my undying love for you. I love you, Mona Davis. Will you allow me to court you? " Macky said as he bent and kneel his right knee while his right hand offering in front of Mona.

Alyck watched how the new scene flickered her eyes. It sprinkled her heart with warm dust. She never thought about this scene would exist. She always think about killing and revenge but this scene was different from her views. Mona accepted Macky's confession making stand and hug her tight.

"Congratulation to our new lovely couples "

The next day Mona gave the payments for Alyck's service.  Macky help her rent a submarine and offer to be a tour guide. He prepared scuba for Alyck to used.

"Take care and good luck you two" Mona waves her hand as she watched the submarine went deep.

Fishes swim along to the submarine. Alyck amused on the scenery underwater. 

"Alyck, we need to go deeper to see the trench. Why are going to trench anyway?" Macky stated.

"Ok, I'm planning to retrieve the fantasy sword on that place." I replied while looking at the whole submarine. This is two seat small metal vehicle in world that can be compare to a fish. This helps them to go down without using any magic to disrupt the ocean.

"FANTASY SWORD! I thought it was a myth" he exclaimed in surprise.

"No and you can see what it looks like when I retrieve it" I said as look on those different fishes ahead of us. 

"Oh yeah! I'm excited. Mariana Trench here we come" he uttered drove the submarine to the deepest part of the ocean.

The submarine went deeper to hundreds deeper. They saw the trench like a sliced of land under the ocean deeper as they wen near the entrance. Alyck prepared to dive out since the submarine can't go in.

"Be careful, Alyck. I'll wait you here. I'll give 1 hour before our gas be run out."Macky said as he helped Alyck on the scuba. He teaches how to used it under the water before they went in.

"No need to wait for me, Macky I can go back."

"What are insane, your oxygen was supposed to take you for and 1 hour only if you take long there you'll die" he replied.

"Trust me, I can do it." I smiled at him assuring him that I'll be alright.

"Are you sure? Then be careful down there. Comeback alive" he said as his worry face sighed

"I will, thanks for helping me. Anyway congratulation, Macky" I said as I start to swim fast with the used of my magic. The submarine start to drove away as Alyck swam down.

Going down was colder than I thought. I never expect but I don't mind it and swim deeper. The path going down become narrower thankfully it's enough to fit a human. After of 10 minutes, fast dive, Alyck reach the bottom of the trench. She taught it would sand instead it was boiling magma and a sword was struck on the center of it.  

The warm heat form the magma didn't help her to come near that she needs to used her God Mirage to shield herself from the burning heat.

She was about to pulled it when a sound from behind can be heard. When she looked back, it was a cracken.

" Why are you here, Goddess?" the cracken said as she looked at Alyck. She blows a bubbles to surround her and be able to breath on the water.

"I was send by Rudolf to retrieve the fantasy sword" I said to this big octopus. I frowned why these giant creatures keep testing me.

"Oh that stupid monster, I've been guarding this sword until the right owner will take it and thinking Rudolf send you here. You must be the one his telling as Alexander said too. I'm Olivia by the way. Before you can take that sword you need to prove your worth on it." she stated

"How?"

"In a situation you need to face, close your eyes and think the person the dearest on your heart" Olivia instructed as Alyck followed.

Alyck saw her clan, Tristan, Anastacia, Lin Feiyeng, Yufan, those people they help, those children being save, those animals being release, Alexander, Rudolf, Olivia, Macky, Mona  and those she needs to save once she comes back were about to be killed by black magic as they were start to fall one by one. Alyck shouted.

"NO!" Alyck shouted as tears fall from her eyes.

"I can't take one of them died again. I can't let anyone of them died. I already lost my family not them also."

"Now, tell me how will you used the sword?" Olivia curved her eyes amused as how she read every people inside Alyck's heart. 

"I want to protect them. I want to save them" I said with no hesitation. I never thought I'll realize how good to save people than kill them. 

Alyck's heart start to get full with light as she tried to suppressed her smiles. Her tears fall hard as how this journey turn to new her. She tried to wiped her tears but it won't stop. 

"I see you realized the most important thing on your heart.  Used the sword to protect and save those in need of WIC World. "Olivia declared as she let Alyck wiped her tears move to the sword as the bubble drag her to the handle with popping out. 

She pulled it little by little until she was able to fully pulled the sword while inside the bubble. Red magic flowed towards her body as the sword glow bright. She raised it high making her body flow with surge magic.

"Now, you have the fantasy sword. Defeat the darkness lurking all over the WIC's land. Alyck once you believe that everything should be done in order to stop the chaos then don't hesitate even it will be hard aftermath "  Olivia spoken like she knows something ahead. I cringed my brows to her.

"I'll take that account, Olivia. Thanks for guiding me" I said as swam fast back to the top.

"The world put its destiny to you, Alyck" Olivia mumbled as the Cracken looked to Alyck. 

Alyck flew back to island to say goodbye with Macky and Mona. 

"Wow so this is the fantasy sword. It's so cool" Macky uttered as he looked it clearly. He gave it back he heard what I said.

"Macky, Mona, thank you for helping me along. I need to go back now. " I said as I sheathed back the sword to my waist.

" That's fast, why?" Macky confusedly asked.

" I have important matter to do back home and it can't wait. I'm sorry" I said as I saw their face saddened.  This journey push me to widen my perspective that I didn't have done in the past. 

"If that is important then we won't hold you longer.  I hope you come visit us someday. " Mona smiled and hug me.

"Yeah! you shouldn't forget us. Take good care of yourself there " Macky taps my shoulder and smiled.

"I'll put it in mind. Thank you" I said as Alyck walked few meters away and waved them for the last time.

"Rudolf back!" I casted.

The light from the sky appeared flow down to Alyck  and made her disappear in thin air. 

"Welcome back, Alyck. How's your trip, hahaha. Olivia never change" Rudolf spoke as I appeared in front of him.

"Not bad, thanks. Bye" I said as flew away from him.

"Good luck, Alyck." he shouted as I flew fast out. 

Next to destination Mahil City.

"I'm coming back, wait for me General Larke"
