Case 6: Illegal Imprisonment

North West on the land of Sudan, a guy has been trying his best to break through the chained shackles. It has been a week since he was imprisoned.

" Tristan! stop it .You've been like this for a week. Give up already. You can't do about it." a man in worried face came in to stop him from taking his wrist damage.

" No! I need to find him! You should let me go, you stupid! I've trust you that you will help me instead you've trick me, Carter" he hissed as his eyes were filled with anger.

" I need to do it. It was a suicide to go in Mahil City and cause some havoc. You'll die before you can save him. I found out he was already sold to a woman from Erican City but I can't believe how he caused the auction to stop for time being as those bidders were afraid for their clan to be slaughtered by him. He has that attitude to intimidate the crowd? He wasn't afraid of what the consequences he had done but I heard the woman who bought him was rich to bid 100Billion USD. She might want him bad. "Carter replied as he stared him with concerned.

" He was never scared to death since he has almost died before. Alyck, you're really reckless giving your life to stop an auction. You must give me a valid reason to it. " Tristan mumbled himself. He can't help but be proud of her.

" That auction must be illegal. What an awful organization yet you wouldn't do about it?" Tristan sly uttered.

" I've been gathering evidence to closed the auction. Don't worry about it, your brother made it easy for me. Since those clans tried to move on the other places making them visible to me. Prisoners were given their statements secretly as the general have been eyeing everyone involved to cut the leaked information from the heads of organization. They'll surely afraid to be punished with their lives. Once I finalized everything I'll send it all to the top leaders to seized them." Carter explained his plan to him making the other felt relieve.

"So release me, now. I need to find him." Tristan blurted out making Carter snorted. He thought he will be happy on what he told but instead he keeps insisting to be released.

"Erican City was huge land. It needs thousands of flying army to search him. At least he won't be in death list so you should stop worrying him too much He's strong. Look at yourself, you haven't eaten nor drink. How you will be able to go strong with that?" he replied with irritation.

" You're telling to stop worrying? How touching, do you know why I keep worrying about him? He's my brother and now you tell me to stop worrying? Asshole get out of here" Tristan pissed that he want to punch the man.

" B-Brother? I thought he's your friend?" Carter asked confusedly.

" You're stupid than me. He's my friend but my father saved him with blood making him as my brother in blood. "Tristan told him the reason making the other shocked.

" Why you haven't told me before? I've been waiting to know you more for these days yet you keep yourself silent as I keep telling about myself. Now that you told me, I feel awful of hurting you. You should have told at least few "he said as his eyes filled with different emotions.

" How am I going to tell  it when you already betray me? You’ re son of b***h! Now that my brother was in some kind of a crazy woman and how I can find him that easily? You know Ericans hate creatures like us. He might die there." Tristan angrily yelled.

"I know, you said he's your brother. Can you trust him more? You know him well, am I right? Barging there will be not good for him. You should at least give him some boost of trust. You should also think about yourself, not just him but also us."

Tristan was silent on what Carter said. It struck his heart that made his anger subside. His red eyes were in verge of sorrow tears.

"He will be alright. You should eat and be stronger to fight along with him. You know he can't always protect you if he's in verge on fighting. "Carter stated as he walked near him and pat his shoulder.

" Unlock my shackles. I'll eat properly. " Tristan replied as he lowered his head feeling guilt.

" No, I'm sorry, you can't leave here yet. You know how important you are to me but at this moment, I can't let your shackles off. "he uttered as he refused to look him the eyes.

" You! keep telling me about trusting yet you don't trust me enough. How I can guarantee my brother is safe? What a laughingstock you are! " Tristan pissed on how his mate acts like i***t.

" I know Tristan but I have some other reason for that" he answered as he looked away not wanting see him in verge of pain.

" Whatever! go away !"

" I'm sorry, Tristan. I'm really sorry"

" Just leave me alone!"

Carter left him as he just walked to his room. He can't let him go until he would able to say how he felt for him not by just mere mate.

Tristan never thought he'll have this situation which he can't in Alyck's side for long. He's man of his words and helping her avenge his clan was same as how he want to kill his mother's murderers.

He looked the room his was in for pass days. It was full of paintings hang on the wall. They were images of lakes, falls and forest. He missed the Alyck stoic attitude.

He has been trying to unlock the shackles but he can't .He can't triggered the needle to struck his pulse. He can't die yet and the only thing that keep him going is to support Alyck on her journey.

" Who are you?" that's the first questioned, Alyck's asked to him as she woke up.

A ten years old kid looked at him with cold eyes. He never had a friend nor siblings. He was so happy to see one to be play with.

"I'm Tristan Ruin, 12 years old. I lived here with my dad. Nice to meet you." he happily offered his hand to her but the latter just look at it.

"Where you came from? What's your name? How old are you? Can you be my friend?" Tristan bombarded Alyck with so much question but none of it was answered making him frowned.

"Tristan just let her rest for a while. Hey kid! if you want to go stronger you should live. " Thomas butt in as he bring her food and place it on the table near them.

" I know. I will kill them. " she answered as her golden eyes darken in rage. She got up and walked to the table to sit.

" Father did something to her?" Tristan curiously asked as he glances at Alyck.

" Just asked her when she's ready to open up.Let's eat." he answered and sit on his chair beside Alyck.

" Trained me, I want to go stronger." Alyck uttered coldly as she finished her meal fast.

" Then be ready tomorrow. Tristan you should support her trainings every day I'll give you tasked to be done. Since I can't stay here long I need to work as well. " Thomas stated as he drunk his water. Tristan lowered his head and obey his father.

A young kid who was trained to protect the clan now trained to kill anyone. Thomas gave them hundreds of task to be done before he left to travel. Every day of her life was only focus on the task given by Thomas.

She keeps doing the given tasked one at a time in thousand times until her body collapsed.

Tristan helped her in every of it training with her.

Tristan watched how determine a kid like her exhausted her body just to go strong. He ended up carrying the little girl to her room. He has been alone all the time since his father need to travel for long so he already know how to live his life but having someone to take care of was somewhat different for him.

He never takes care of someone plus it's a girl. He thought it wouldn't appropriate for him to do that but he can't let her died on those wounds and bruises she got.

He take all her clothes and clean her body. He thought a girl who has same thing down there was not normal. There's a lot of question he wanted to asked but he can't do it this state.

He cleaned and bandaged her wounds and put his clothes on her.

" I hope someday, I can be your friend" he uttered as he went out of her room.

On the middle of the night, a cried can be heard. Tristan heard it since he has hearing ability and saw a girl lying on her bed full of bandages crying on her sleep. Sweats on her forehead tells it was not good dream instead it's a nightmare.

" Mom don't leave me! Mom! " she yelled out loud

"Hey, wake up! wake up!" Tristan shook her up but she didn't move an inch. Her body was burning in fever. Tristan ran on the kitchen to find some medicine for fever. When found one, he ran back to her room.

" No!!!!" Alyck shouted as get up from the bad dream.

Tristan dashed towards her as she saw the girl curled her body holding her knees.

" Hey, drink these" he said and gave it to her but she didn't move.

" I know it was bad dream but telling wasn't bad. You know I lost my mom as well when I was a baby. I never know how it happen since father won't talk about it. I live here for 10 years alone since father seldom 2 a month only come home. I learned to cook on my own take good care of the house and one day father bring books. He taught me to read and write for a week that was the longer time I spend with him. "he spoke out the silent atmosphere. They both sit on the bed as Alyck still curling down.

"When I am sick the only thing I do is weakly cried until my cried turn to laughs. I promise myself I'll be strong so that I won't feel be easily sick. I'm so happy that you came here since I don't have someone to called as friend nor siblings. I am hoping that one day I'll be your friend or sibling even not in blood " he continued with timid smile.

" You're father gave his blood to save me. My clan was slaughtered by those black cloaked men. My mother casted a spell that change my body to bring a new era for the kingdom. I know why I live and that's to avenge them from those killers."Alyck opened up making Tristan feel overwhelmed. His eyes were filled with happiness and delightful.

" So were siblings then, I'll be your handsome brother from now on." Tristan grinned wide.

" No thanks" Alyck refused as her eyes look away making Tristan laugh. He knows it was opposite from what he saw in her eyes. He felt so happy to have a sibling that bring his alone life brighter.

" I'll help you with your goal. After 10 years the bounty hunters will be open. We can take enlist there then start to search for them so are you in?" Tristan smiled as he offered his hand in front of Alyck.

" Fine!" Alyck answered and shake his hand making him smiled wide.

"Alyck I hope you're ok right now" Tristan uttered as he looked on the shackles in his wrist.

The next day, Carter walked in again to give him his food.

" Carter how long are you planning me to be tied here? Tell me why yku are doing this?"

" As long you realized, what you feel." he answered and look away.

" What do you mean?"

" Since the time, we both know that we are mate the bond went strong but you almost forgot how to feel the word love. You're too focus on your brother that I can feel your heart full of sorrow and worries. You know I'm here right? I can help you too. "

" Love in this world is nothing as war keep coming in every corner of the land. You want me to say I love you? I'm sorry but it still hard for me to say it until I can see Alyck still standing and alive. So if you want me to love you the way you want me to, then release me. Keeping me here won't make it work. You just turned the love you want to hate." Tristan spoke.

Carter realized he was right. He feel the rage on his heart if it keeps going he might kill him than love him.

" Ok, but promise me you'll not take your life at risk. Don't act recklessly instead plan your move" Carter replied seriously.

" I know. I can do it" Tristan uttered and sighed.

Carter walked towards Tristan

"I'm sorry for taking you like this. I'm sorry Tristan" he said as he hugs him before he unlocked the shackles.

" Thank you, Carter" Tristan mumbled and kiss his lips making the other widen his eyes. Tristan placed his forehead on Carter's forehead as they both closed their eyes and feel their hearts.

It was their first time to be in one but they can feel they were stronger than before.

" I'll be going now, take good care ok?"

" Yeah!, you too. If the organization know where he was contact me through telepathic link. We're connected now. "Tristan stated as he held his hand tight. They were looking to each other deeply that never happened before.

" Yeah, I will. " Carter said as he waved his goodbye to Tristan.

They separate their ways as Carter stand on the teleport station.

" Teleport to Mahil City" Carter said and smiled to Tristan before he disappear.

"Time to find Alyck and save her. Teleport to Erican City" Tristan declared and uttered.
