Like father like son

Kristina's POV

"You're leaving already?" Brother Yuan asked as I put my belongings on my suitcase.

"Yep, I don't have a choice I have my own pack to protect now," I grunted forcing myself to zip the bag.

"Make sure to visit often." He sighed as he sat on my bedside

"No need to be sad buddy, you could visit me whenever you want." I chuckled as I sat beside him

"I'm kinda busy too I'm gonna travel again for this family business." He sighed, I chuckle at him He was the one who inherits and runs the company of our family while Trexus and I run the pack.

"Good luck with that Mister CEO," I said patting his back he smiled gently at me then gave me a bear hug.

"I'm heading to Korea to sign a contract with one of my business partners. Anyway, send my regards to Jace you both take care of yourself." He said as he ruffles my hair before going out of my room.

After packing I took a shower and change into my clothes.

 I drag my suitcase downstairs and put it at the back of my car. Trexus got them from my pack and drove it here for me which I'm thankful for, he said that's his way of saying sorry.

"You sure you don't need me to drive you back?" Brother Yuan asked beside dad.

"I'm fine don't worry come on give me a group hug." I chuckled at them

"Wait! wait for me." Trexus yelled running out the door and engulfed me in a hug first then came mom, dad, and Brother Yuan.

"Oh come on you all it's not like the pack is very far from here, you could just visit me there whenever you want," I said as I roll my eyes

"Yeah sure not far it's a 2 hours' drive," Trexus said sarcastically

"Whatever, Anyway where's dad knight and shining armor?" I asked as my mom gave me a knowing look and smirk at me.

"Oh, Xavier? Well, he and his brothers already left last night." Dad answered with a sad sigh.

"Well gladly, anyway I have to go," I said for the last time and bid them goodbye I get in the car and drove off while listening to my favorite band.

I park my car in front of the packhouse where Jace, Xavier, Ysha, Ryann, and Maxx stand up waiting for my arrival.

"He's your mate?!" Maxx asked as soon as I got out, Ryann took my bag out of the car and gave them to the pack members so they could put it in my room. Jace ran to me and embrace me into a hug screaming happily saying that he missed me and Xavier so the kid knows about Xavier's plan.

"Do I have to explain it to you?" I asked

"Well yea, no why didn't you tell us at dinner. Ahh, now that explains why you have the hickey and that awkwardness, and stares you both have in each other." Maxx beamed which made Xavier and I chuckled.

"So am I a godmother now?" Ysha asked as she engulfed me in a hug.

"Soon," Xavier answered smirking as he went close to us, Jace went down and have Xavier carry him.

"Whatever," I said rolling my eyes leaving them, and went to my office.

"You know you don't have to be so harsh on him," Ryann said following after me

"I'm not," I answered defending myself

"You are, don't argue anyway the pack made progress they're already good at fighting so I was just hoping maybe we should now give them the toys." He said as he sat on my sofa in his business attire.

"We'll see this afternoon, are they even good at speed and strength how about their tactics do they already know their weakness?" I asked as I sat on my chair.

"All done, Xavier's best fighters helped to train them too I made my pack train with them my beta, delta, and best warriors helped. Maxx was the only one missing."

"Maxx was with me, I send him here early so he could receive his punishment, where is he anyway?"

"So you mean you have Maxx train the kids." He chuckled

"Yep, we all know he hates kids he won't last a month wanna bet with me?" Maxx isn't good with kids he has this small temper and kids tend to not listen and are hardheaded I could now imagine him pulling his hair out of frustration.

"Nah. I thought so too." He laughed as he went to my fridge and took my gummy bears while he came back and sat on the sofa.

We talk for hours about the pack and planning for the future after that we all went out and have lunch in the packhouse Xavier and Jace sat beside me. I watch the two of them ate while talking with my best friends.

"The two of them act alike, they would be mistaken as father and son," Maxx said not minding his food and keep on examining my mate and son while they eat.

"Control yourself you might fall over heels on me." Xavier said as he drinks his soda Jace followed his move and said, "Uncle Maxx are you gay?"

We all laugh at his remark while Maxx's faces turn red. "The moon goddess has pared the devils and gave them a demon son." He remarked

"oh shut up Maxx just keep on eating your fries." Ysha chuckled beside him and stuffed the fries into his mouth.

"Boss, delta has requested your help." Comes sky with a nervous smile when he saw me. Xavier looks at me then at my best friends something glint in his eyes he and sky continued to talk on the link.

"Someone would like to meet you all It would be best if your brother would be here too." Xavier sighed as he put his spoon down losing his appetite

"Which brother is it?" I asked "Trexus." He murmured and got up

Ryann, Ysha, Maxx, and I look at each other confused.

"Maxx, call Trexus, tell him to come right away," I commanded he got up and took his phone out, and went away to dial my brother. Jeez, I sometimes think Maxx and my brother is in a relationship. He doesn't need to walk away.

"Who?" I asked Xavier averted his gaze away from me.

"Be patience."

"Welp, Ryann and I are gonna ready our self then, Jace you coming with me?" Ysha said awkwardly

"If daddy Ryann gonna give me ice cream I will," Jace answered as he cleans his hands with tissue

"Daddy Ryann? what?! -_-...." Xavier asked, his voice dark, and cold. His eyes glaring daggers at me, hearing Jace call Ryann daddy must have stomp on his eg, we all burst out laughing at his expression. It was priceless he grunted and left.

"Sister-in-law you have made the Master jealous." Sky laughed and follow his alpha.

Everyone went their separate ways. I went to my room and change my clothes. After changing I bought my sword with me and went to the hall or throne room.
