"Jace baby, Aunt Ysha here is going to babysit you while I'm away. Promise to behave yourself okay." I told Jace as I crouched down to his level.

"Pinky swear mommy." He answered by showing his baby finger. I hugged him tightly and remembered someone.

"Baby, where's daddy Xavier?" I asked he should be here. I'm leaving and I told him to take care of Jace. Did he just ditch us? I can't trust Xavier for small things let alone big problems. And he proved it to me right now.

"Daddy said he's gonna catch a bunny." He answered as his eyes glistened with something. Did he really think that I would listen to his lie? Why would he go hunting when there's a lot of food in the storage. I'm not that dumb. He better not show his face when I'll return.

"Ahh, so you're calling him Daddy now that's kinky. Where did the I won't go easy on him thing go?" She raised her eyebrow, smirking. I rolled my eyes at her and hugged her. I don't have time to quarrel with her right now.

"Sis! Sis! We gotta go hurry something' happen to dad." Brother Yuan called onto me panicking. I was worried about what could happen to daddy his already not the alpha how could he be a threat.

"Is he okay? Have you already called Trexus?" I asked as we hurried to the car, "yes they're on their way home." He answered as we drove off.

"Dad! Dad!" I called and barged into the house immediately as soon as we arrived.

"Honey?" mom asked, surprised. My pride and hatred vanished to thin air, grateful that she's fine, she must have been crying her eyes are red and puffy.

"Where's dad?" I asked Pain was evident in her eyes "His... alive in our room sle-" Not letting her finish I burst in my father's bedroom without knocking he was startled at the sound and woke up from his nap." Princess?" he said, surprised by my sudden appearance. I guess brother Yuan hasn't told them about me visiting.

"Come give your father a hug princess papa missed you." He said opening his arms for me to embrace it.

"I was so worried about you, what happened?" I asked I hug him like a koala and embrace him tightly

"Be careful of his leg!" Mom yelled as she saw us when she came into the room holding a glass and my favorite juice. I looked at my father's leg, what did mom mean?

I gasp my eyes teared up by what I saw."I'm not that fragile, it's fine I'm okay at least I'm alive." He chuckled like it was nothing.

"How could you still laugh when your other leg is already cut off from your body? Who did this to you?" I asked the anger, pain, and hurt mixed up in my voice. Who would be happy seeing their father in bed and helpless?

"It's fine. After visiting, midnight rose pack I was on my way home. We didn't expect a sudden rogue attack on the way. They must have smelt my alpha scent. I think this old man still smells young. Thanks to this young man he and his brother defeated the rogues and saved me." Dad should really be grateful for the person who saved him. If not for the man he won't be here with us right now.

Brother Yuan was standing beside him as mom gave me the glass of juice while we listened to our dad talk."Who's the man who saved you, dad? We must pay him for his kindness." Brother Yuan said as he stole the glass from my hand to drink from it he didn't even leave some for me. I glare at him ready to throw the glass at him any second.

"Yes we should I don't want to have a debt with someone, We don't know what could happen he might use this advantage to extort money from us. Or even worse." Brother yuan glared at me "Kristina be careful of your words." Dad said with a warning

"I think although he is young, beyond his handsomeness he's also brave and wise. I wanted to take him as my adopted son but he was unwilling that I had to beg him to visit our pack and let us pay his kindness." My dad continued still not stopping to blabber about his savior.

I roll my eyes from him and serve myself another glass of juice making sure brother Yuan won't steal it this time."Hades! Son! Come here!" Dad called for someone, I sip on the glass, not interested in the man. Who has the guts to name their son from the god of the underworld?

"You called for me father." I almost threw up the juice after hearing his voice. I must be imagining things he can't be here. Besides how he find out where I was heading. I must be really hallucinating

But I was beyond shocked seeing him walk inside the room with his glory how come he was here? Every step of walking he took was like slow motion. I must say he is so gorgeous wearing that business attire. Why is he here? Didn't Jace say he's going to catch a rabbit? How come he's here? Is he the man my dad referring to? God, why is the world so small.

"Shouldn't you be thankful for his here?" My wolf said on our link I ignore her and block her out of my mind Ashly is always on Xavier's side my wolf is blinded with the mate bond. But I''m different from my wolf I'm not her. He has the guts to show his self here when I personally told him that I need him to take care of Jace.
