           Kissing him isn't enough for Ashly and I thirst. I have waited for him for so long the urge to mark him is so strong to resist. A howl was heard from the distance wolves started to appear "rouges" my mate whispered pushing me back from him. My wolf pack snarled into the intruder "protect our alpha." Ysha ordered. My pack then instantly obeyed and formed a circle round me.

"I will fight dumb-ass." I can fight my own battle. It's my duty to protect them. They came to harm my pack and on the perfect occasion with that! Facing the opponent I jab my nails on his chest as blood dripping from it he tried to fight back clawing at my face gripping his other hand I give it a twist ripping it from his body as he cry in pain another rouge aim to attack me but Xavier was fast to kill him with sword I shift into my wolf letting Ashly take full control of my body then it all went black on my vision I slept so that Ashly can concentrate on her battle it's been to long since she have a little stretch our last battle was when world war two has ended some virus has occurred making those human became like mutant having an immortal strength, they have a crocodile like skin, eyes as red like blood, they thirst for blood they're like a killing machine stronger than a vampire.

I felt Ashly giving me back the full control of my body. I open my eyes to already see my body in clothes and the battle field full of dead bodies, Ysha and beta sky holding the leader down on the ground.

"Answer to my question pup." I asked as I wiped my bloody hands with the towel that Xavier gave me.

"We attacked to have the land alpha." The rogue bow his head down in submission.

"Let him go." I ordered, Beta sky expression went confused.

"Come on, I'm not that wicked, give the pup another chance to live." I chuckled as they let him go and he ran out pass the border. Being called a pup is  shameful in the werewolf world. If he didn't answer immediately I would have put him in the dungeon but the dog has a smart ass he must have heard our Number one rules about the rogues that trespassed our pack either we let them join our pack, let them go or kill them.  

After giving orders I sat on the dirt to watch them work. This day was full of drama and it was tiring.

"Have you forgotten about me since you found your mate?" Ryann said as he sat beside me

"She's mine!" Xavier said grumpily, pulling me to his chest. I rolled my eyes at his possessiveness

"Wow, calm down I'm not taking her away from you I just want a little chat with my best friend before I go." I pushed Xavier from me glaring at his protectiveness

"You take care on the way brother send my regards to uncle and aunty." I said as I ignored my mate glare.  

"Don't you want to give me a hug before I go?" Ryann said opening his arms widely Xavier growled which urged me to hug Ryann to irritate him more he pulled me away from Ryann then carry me on his shoulder away from my best friend.

"Xavier put me down now!." I growled which sent him to stop walking then drop me down on my feet.

"I am an alpha. I don't want you to disrespect me in front of my pack. Same as yours." I yell at him angrily

"I am your mate. I don't want you to disrespect me in front of everybody and see you hugging another man." He mimicked in an annoying voice.

"He's my best friend, everybody knows that." I said annoyed

"Still, I don't like it." He said in a poker face

"And not a single f**k is given, So what if you don't like it I don't care." I rolled my eyes.

"Do you want me to claim you right here right now?" He smirked as he pinned me on the wall.

"ahaha I just remember I have to take a bath. I'm full of blood." I awkwardly tried to escape ,my mind was telling me to stop spouting vulgar words.

"Let me help you then." He said which make his smirk wider

"King Xavier Ryle! You! Narrow minded urgh someday you won't see light again." I scream and punch his left eye. I didn't waste any minute and run away from him. That stupid mate bond I wish to break it I have regretted my actions just a while ago I can't just give in so easily just because we're mates I promise my parents, my people and the elders to rule this pack to the best of my ability till my last breath I will prove to everyone that I a female alpha can rule this land without a help from his male I will prove that we bitches are not weak we're strong even though we don't have our mate by our side. I don't love him, it's just the power of the mate bond making me act this way I have to clear my mind out of this s**t. Moon goddess made the bond much stronger when you meet your mate for the first time so the mating process of the wolves will get faster it's kind of a crazy thing about us wolves I just can't imagine I acted like that it was so weird being controlled by the mate bond technically your own body was controlling you to be intimate with your partner for life. And that's not my goal in life I want to prove something that females are not just house wives they can be a b***h and kick ass too.

I'm sitting in my office after a cold shower trying to concentrate on my work but Xavier keeps replaying in my mind where is he right now anyway I expect him to find me. Shittt forget about it forget about him I have to concentrate I have to come back to my senses.

"Sis, do you have a fever? Your face is so red." Trexus said, examining my face with his cold hands.

"Get out!" I yelled at my brother and he then ran out of the room.

Trexus is older than me for an hour. I expect him to act mature as a grown ass man that titled as an ALPHA but day by day he's acting like a child.

"Care to share what's on your mind my Queen." His voice ripped me away from my thoughts. He asked as he sat on my table. I closed my eyes and took a breath to calm down, he's just your mate and nothing else he's just a piece of obstacle that is needed to depose so you could fulfill your dream.

"For what do I owe this visit king Xavier Ryle?" I asked forcing a smile

"Nothing much. I just want to see my fiancé face don't you miss me my dear?" he asked smirking

"in_ your_ dreams." I said word by word with gritted teeth "don't you have work?" I continued

"I do, having my wife heart." he answered

Puzzled at his reply I pretend to be busy signing a signature on the paper works. I saw him stand up. I heaved a sigh because I thought he's gonna leave but I felt him brush my hair. This is so embarrassing I said in my mind. I was accustomed not to brush my hair after taking a bath in my office. Who else would I be meeting at this time of the night? I never expected that he would really come and with my crazy hair displayed at that.

"No need to be bother my wife just keep on doing your work." he chuckled

"I'm starting to get irritated with those pet names of yours." I gritted in annoyance 

"You will get used to it princess."

"Urghhh don't you have work to do?"

"I do. Having you." he smirked his face too close in my face. He was leaning forward. What do I do?! I asked myself I do not want to embarrass myself more I could not just give what he wants does he think he has everything as he pleases?
