Kristina's POV

"Brother please consider," I beg

"Whatever you say, you have to come back with me early tomorrow morning." Brother Yuan insisted, by the sound of his voice and the determination of his face it looks like I can't do anything else to change his mind.

"Alright." I pout and accept that I lost.

But someone disagreed and had the courage to speak, "She obviously doesn't want to go back with you, since she doesn't want to go back with you, I can't let you take her away." Xavier butted in. I turned my attention to him and gave a deathly glare.

I'm begging you King Xavier Ryle don't get me into trouble just go and mind your own business. I cried inside.

"Who are you?" Brother Yuan asked, glaring at my mate. But he doesn't look affected by it and was very confident to answer my brother.

I just hope he wouldn't get his possessive act on me saying I'm his mate. Knowing Xavier he would really be going to do that. Cause that's how he is an overly confident, annoying attractive alpha that he is. He would go on saying he's the Alpha king in this country and that he could step on my brother easily. He's gonna use his power again just to get what he wants. I rolled my eyes just from the thought of that.

But I thought wrong...

"A real man will not change his name... Xavier Ryle from another pack. Who are you?" He asked which surprised me.

"None of your business, mind your own business." I snap at him and push him away. I glanced at him and saw him walking to sky to join his gang on the field.

I went back to my brother Yuan and smiled at him sheepishly. "Is he a rogue? Why did I sense some rebelliousness among his words?" Brother Yuan asked, blinking.

"Brother Yuan we can't judge someone like that," I said with a double meaning from my words.

"How could you play with this kind of man?" He asked surely not take a liking to my mate. Wait since when did I start calling him my mate with such confidence.

"We're just ordinary friends, Brother Yuan just go already I still have to pack my things," I said annoyed at him.

"Remember, I'm going to drive you there tomorrow don't be late so you mustn't deceive me any more." He blabbered "Alright, alright, brother Yuan go bye-bye." I said my farewell to him, waving my hands as he walked away.

I went inside the packhouse and climbed upstairs to finish my work. As I approached my office I heard Ryann and Ysha talking in a hushed voice.

"He's alive. I'm telling you. Wait, don't tell me you don't believe what I said." Ryann argued

"His long gone ry don't bring up the past," Ysha said as I sensed the sadness in her voice.

"But I saw his figure. Well, not his face anyway but I'm telling you it's him." Ryann insisted

"What were the two of you guys talking about," I said entering the room as they both tense up and look at each other's eyes debating if they should share it with me or not.

"We were arguing about this actor that Ryann saw in the town," Ysha said nervously.

Uninterested in their topic I shrug it off and invite them to have breakfast with me. I told Ysha about my trip to my dad's and Trexus pack and she volunteered to babysit Jace while I'm away.

"We haven't seen Maxx around this couple of days," Ysha said worriedly. If she hadn't said it I wouldn't have noticed it too. But Ryann here on the other side stayed silent having a big bite on his food avoiding eye contact. If I didn't know him that long I couldn't notice that he was hiding something from us. I pull his ears close down to the table.

"Start talking now if you still want to have your ears." I grin at him

"aww, aww they have a tournament on their game Maxx ouch left with Trexus the other day they said to keep it a secret boys to boys only." He finally spoke between his groan of pain.

I don't know what to do to my brother and my delta and their obsession with games. It's too late to chase after them.

But I know Ysha could handle the pack pretty well so I'm relieved.

After eating with my two best friends I went back to my office to finish my paperwork. I finished their training schedules and went to Ysha, Maxx, Gabriele, and the other instructors' offices so they can start away from their training even though I'm away.

Jace called, "Mommy!" Xavier was carrying him to my office. I smiled as he pouted his little lips.

"What's wrong baby?" I asked as I got up from my chair and went to them.

"You didn't have breakfast with us, and we heard that you're leaving, mommy can we come daddy and I promise to behave ourselves." He said as his pout didn't leave his mouth. We are now sitting on the sofa so close to each other Xavier arms sprawled beside me almost cornering me on the sofa only a little space was left between us, Jace was sitting on his lap as he talked.

"Aww baby mommy would love to bring you with her, but this trip is not good for kids." I reasoned out. Trying not to concentrate on Xavier's heated gaze.

"Why?" he asked

"Because it's grown-up stuff mommy has to solve a sustained problem." "Daddy here is going to take good care of you while mommy is away. Make sure you don't feed him too much candy, sodas, and fast-food." I said mostly talking to Xavier as I pat his head with force. He didn't respond but only stared at me with that gaze.

"Daddy are you angry with mommy?" Jace asked him, he must have realized Xavier didn't respond and misunderstood Xavier's expressions. He blinked and inhaled his breath.

"No baby, I was talking to my wolf, why don't you join them on the field I thought you wanted to." Xavier smiled, pinching Jace's chubby cheeks.

"But I want mommy to teach me she's good at kicking someone's butt." Jace giggled, punching his little fist in the air.

"Okay go change into your jogger and wait for me on the field," I said, patting his head. He sprinted out and closed the door with a loud bang that made me close my eyes and wince at the sound.

I felt his hands caressing my face his face slowly coming closer I put my hands on his mouth covering it before he kisses me I push him away and got up I went into my cabinet and fetch my jogger and change on the bathroom making sure to lock it Xavier is still outside I shivered as I imagine on what he may do.

After changing the three of us went to the field Gabriele and my gamma was training the front liners into two groups. They saw us coming and stopped their training. They all kneeled and bowed their heads down showing their respect.

"Your majesty, alpha, young master how can we help you?" Gabriele asked as he came to us.

"Don't let our presence disturb your training. Young master is here to learn too." I said patting Jace.

"We could divide the groups into four alpha if you and your majesty would like?" he asked

Xavier and I nodded and went to our group.

"Find a partner and show me your Technics," I commanded my group

"Mommy, who am I paired to?" Jace asked pulling on my black t-shirt

"Of course me, baby," I said crouching down his level

I taught him how to punch correctly and how to escape from the captor's hands. I start acting defeated as Jace starts attacking me tackling me on the ground as he giggled.

"But I don't want to hurt mommy." Jace pouted the crowd awed at his remark as they stop and a have a little break from their training

"Don't worry baby mommy is fine you're not hurting me this is training," I assured him

"No mommy I want to protect you like daddy," Jace argued pointing to a shirtless Xavier who was so serious teaching his group. His group looks up to him admiring him as he teaches them with his blank face droplets of sweat running down his neck to his chest.

"MoOoMmyyy are you listening?" Jace whined as he tugs on my shirt bringing me back from my meltdown as a blush creeps down on my face.

"What were you saying, baby?" I asked

"I want daddy to teach me." He said pleading

"Don't you like mommy to teach you?" I asked

"But I don't want mommy to get hurt." He said

For a 6 years old kid he knows too much yes training does mean hurting your partner. I never expected my poor acting could affect him so much. He thought that he really hurt me but I can't tell him that I was just acting as he could misunderstand it, he won't trust and listen to me cause I've been lying to him.

I said, "Okay go run to daddy while I teach them, behave yourself okay." Then kiss his cheeks. He runs over to Xavier giggling as he embraces him in the knees.

"Okey stop. Some of you lack speed, the others don't have that much force and energy. I'll give you 5 minutes break after that come back here and give me 30 push-ups."

I sat on the ground watching the others train scratch that watches Xavier and Jace train more like play. Jace sat on his back giggling as he did a push-up, his muscles flexing as he pushed up and down.

"Soon it would be pushing in and out on you," Ashly said in the link I could see her licking her snout at the back of my head.

"Ashly," I warned

"Okay okay, I'll behave myself I was just sayin' it would be SOON." She chuckled

I rolled my eyes at her remark and came back to my senses.

"Earth to wifey." In front of me standing Xavier shirtless, his abs down to his torso were on sight his Calvin Klein boxer is almost seen, his bulge is- "All yours to gawk wife." He smirked looking down on me

"I appreciate you staring love, but Jace and I have been telling you we're thirsty," Xavier said, carrying Jace in his arms.

"What? Do you want me to breastfeed you two? Go get your own water right there." I glare at the both of them pointing at the bucket beside me.

"Mommy, what's a breastfeed?" Jace asked innocently

I gulped speechlessly, Xavier laughed putting Jace down the ground he went in front of me to reach on to get some water. He is literally doing this on purpose. His chest is so close to me that I can feel the wetness of his body from the sweat. I saw him smirk from my peripheral vision. I didn't even notice that he was already meters away from me as he and Jace walked away hand in hand and returned to their group to continue their training.

After 5 minutes break my group and I went back to training. We end up having 40 push ups after that I teach them each fighting stance and some strategies. If they learn how to fight with their human side then I will teach them how to fight in their wolf form.
