Aldo loved nothing more than a day of hard work, clear instructions, and a job well done. He"d accomplished all three of those things on his first day of training at the police academy. He"d been worried that police work wouldn"t give him the same thrill, the same feeling of service and satisfaction as his military career had. There was an adrenaline rush to being in the air, to sleeping close to a combat area, to rushing into a battle zone with your fellow soldiers at your side.
