“Shuu-uuuuu Gboas” A very loud noise may be heard. I and Andrew hurried out of the home carrying a basket of my handmade items to sell at the market as well; we needed the money to buy things for ourselves. The next sound that followed was Help, Help, some set of people yelling. I couldn't see what was going on since people were swarming around something as we walked down the street and saw the unexpected situation. Andrew and I were both too curious to resist. Oh sure, my Boyfriend Andrew Scoth and I went to the group to inquire about what was going on. My heart sunk as I neared. A crowd of people had gathered around the injured guy who was laying on the ground following the accident. The sight of someone else in such awful circumstances brought up bittersweet memories of my mother's death. I recalled how powerless I was as she breathed her last in that dark room. I was overcome by the bitterness of losing her once more. I turned away because I couldn't stand to see any more suffering and Andrew followed me as I made my way to the market. But the thought of the accident was still nagging at me as I walked. Sadness, anxiety, and frustration were among the several feelings I experienced. We sold the stuff, made some money, and bought things for ourselves after Andrew advised me not to think too much. So, we each went to our respective homes.I returned home. Called my sister to tell her what happened today. When she reacted, I responded, "Hey," while attempting to control my tears. "I... I witnessed a horrific event today. I simply needed to talk to someone since it made me think about my mother. I told her everything which she listened to and console me. Christabel I know is a crazy girl indeed she changed the topic, So we start talking about my guy when it comes up. Christabel coaxed, giggling slyly, "So, tell me about this Andrew guy. I blushing feeling a sense of both excitement and anxiety. "Andrew is incredible, and I love him. He has a twin named Alex." Christabel's curious gaze increased. "Complications? Girl, spill the beans. I chuckled as I recalled some of Alex's crazy tales.Christabel got up the phone after adding, "I'll call you back, babe. I'm in class." I was happy that she had heard what had happened since I had told my loving sister. I woke up on Saturday morning to the sound of my phone buzzing with a notification. I picked it up and saw a message from the hotel where I had applied for a job. "Congratulations! You can start as Assistant Front Desk on Monday at 9 am. Looking forward to having you on the team!" I couldn't believe it! I got the job! I was so excited that I immediately called my best friend, Christabel. "Guess what? I got the job at the hotel!" I exclaimed. "No way! That's amazing news!" Christabel replied. "I know, right? I'm so excited! This is going to be such a great opportunity for me," I said, beaming with joy. "I'm really happy for you. You're going to do great!" Christabel reassured me. "Thank you so much for always supporting me," I said gratefully. "Of course! That's what friends are for," she replied. I couldn't wait to start my new job and embark on this new chapter in my life. It was a dream come true, and I felt grateful and excited for the future. I called my boyfriend, Andrew, to share the exciting news. "Hey, Andrew! Guess what? I got the job at the hotel! I start on Monday as Assistant Front Desk!" "Wow, that's fantastic, Marbel! I'm so proud of you!" he replied, sounding genuinely happy. "Thanks, babe! I couldn't have done it without your support," I said gratefully. Later that day, I told my dad about the job offer. "Daddy, I got the job at the hotel! I'll be working as an Assistant Front Desk!" He smiled warmly, "That's wonderful news, Marbel! Your mom would be so proud of you." On the day before my first day at work, Andrew and I decided to celebrate at his place. We sat together, drinking and reminiscing about the journey that led me here. "I'm so glad we met," Andrew said, gently touching my hand. "Me too. You've been my rock through everything," I replied, feeling a rush of affection. We kissed and had a wonderful and memorable night indeed. It was a beautiful moment of connection and love, and I couldn't have asked for a better celebration. On my first day, I entered the hotel with excitement and a touch of nervousness. The HR manager gave me a warm welcome, saying, "Marbel, welcome to the team! We are pleased to have you here. "I'm grateful. I said, "I'm pleased to be here. Here are the norms and regulations of our firm, she said as she gave me a guidebook. To read it, kindly set aside some time. "Your uniform is prepared for you," she said as I quickly glanced through the manual. You can store your personal items in a locker here while working. That's fantastic. I responded, "Thank you," sounding more at ease. As she handed me my name tag and ID card, she said, "Wear these at all times while you're on duty." "I will," I promised. Sarah, a new employee, came up and said hello. Hello, Marbel! I'm Sarah, a senior front desk representative. Feel free to ask me any questions if you have any. "Hello Sarah, nice to meet you. Thank you for volunteering to assist, I replied. "No problem," Sarah grinned. We were all beginners once. It won't take you long to get the hang of it. She welcomed me with such warmth, I couldn't help but feel inspired. We have a performance-based advancement system here, the HR manager said to me just before I started my first shift. You could be given a pay boost and transferred to our headquarters if you put in a lot of effort and commitment. "That seems inspiring! I promised with passion, "I'll give it my all. "We believe in it," the HR manager affirmed. We believe in rewarding and recognizing effort, the HR manager said as she nodded. Let's start your training right now. I couldn't wait to start in my new position and succeed. I was even more motivated to do well at my job given the chance for advancement and a competitive beginning pay. I grinned as I followed Sarah to the front desk to start my training. I felt a feeling of success as my job for the day came to an end. I hastily gathered my bags and bade my coworkers farewell. I contacted Christabel and my father to tell them about the occasion and I could hear the enthusiasm in my voice. Guess what, Dad? The first day I worked there was fantastic! I can't wait to tell you all about this fantastic opportunity, I said. "My darling, that's amazing! I'm really pleased with you. I'm excited to hear all the specifics, my dad said, his voice filled with delight. Then, I dialed Christabel's number and said, "Hey, sis! You won't believe what a fantastic day I had. I'm looking forward to tonight's celebration with you. "Marbel, I'm overjoyed for you! Christabel proposed, "Let's get together at Andrew's apartment and have a great time together. "That sounds great! I answered, excitedly anticipating the celebrations, "See you soon. As the night approached, Christabel and I were buzzing with excitement. We had planned a special celebration for both my new job and her recent graduation. We decided to hit the club, and I couldn't wait to let loose and have some fun after a long day at work. "Marbel, can you believe it? We're finally celebrating together!" Christabel exclaimed with a wide grin. "I know, right? It feels like forever since we've had a night out. Let's make this one unforgettable!" I replied, already feeling the rhythm of the music in my veins. As we entered the vibrant club, the atmosphere was electric. The DJ was playing our favorite tunes, and the dance floor was calling our names. We danced, laughed, and celebrated with all our energy. It was a double party, and we were making the most of it. "Congratulations on your graduation, sis! You've worked so hard, and I'm proud of you," I said, raising my glass in a toast. "Thanks, Marbel! And congrats on your new job. You deserve it!" Christabel cheered, clinking her glass with mine. Amidst the laughter and music, I couldn't help but notice Andrew in the crowd, looking dapper as ever. He was always my anchor, and seeing him there made my heart race. As the night progressed, the celebration continued, and the dance floor became our sanctuary. We danced the night away, enjoying every moment of our double victory. At one point, Andrew pulled me aside, and we found a more private spot near the restroom. The adrenaline of the night, mixed with the undeniable attraction between us, led to an unexpected moment of intimacy. We shared a passionate kiss, and I felt a rush of emotions. It was just the two of us at that moment, away from the world. I was grateful for the love and support of both Christabel and Andrew, and I knew that this night would forever be etched in our memories. I awoke the next morning in Andrew's hotel room, the morning following the crazy night at the club. Christabel told me she was downstairs with her new lover when I contacted her. The moment Andrew shouted out to Alex in the foyer where we met them, Alex looked around startled. How did you get here, bro? Confounded, Alex asked. "Last night, we had a party here!" Christabel started laughing and gestured toward Andrew. "And what's this? My brother slept with you, buddy. Everyone laughed, and that was how the situation ended. However, I observed a look on Christabel that I know is indicative of love, but I didn't take it seriously because it may simply be due to the s*x. Christabel unexpectedly yelled, "Hey everyone, did you know Marbel's 28th birthday is coming up very soon?" as we were making our way home. There was excitement in the air as my pals in the car wished me happy birthday early, and I couldn't help but grin at their kind deeds. "Marbel, happy birthday in advance! It's going to be a tremendous party!" In response, Andrew gave me a hearty hug. The remainder of the drive home was spent giggling and exchanging ideas for the party. Let's see what this wonderful 28 has in store for me.
