As I woke up in the morning, I was aware of Jessica’s leg entangled with mine, her hand placed on my belly, and her head nestled into the crook of my neck. Meanwhile, Kane lies by my side, his arm protectively slung over the two of us in a cozy embrace.
“Excuse me,” I said, gently tapping Kane's and Jessica’s cheeks to get their attention “I’m stuck!” I say my voice echoing loudly through the silence.
“What?” Kane whispers, quickly retracting his hand from Jessica’s still form “What time is it” he asks sleepily.
“I just woke up, and I desperately need to use the bathroom. Can someone please move, so I can go before I have an accident?”
He looks at me, and then Jess suddenly realizing that I’m squeezed in between them.
He lets out a hearty laugh, his voice filled with warmth an
