ELIZABETH’S POV
After the meeting I was feeling depressed, Ashley’s father clearly had a problem with me being Liam’s mate and he was determined to ensure that our union wouldn’t survive any task that we were given. From what I understood from Liam and the conditions that they gave us for the chase, having a whole pack after me would make it close to impossible for Liam to catch me.
Liam said that wolfsbane they wanted me to drink would make me weak and I wasn’t even allowed to use magic. It seemed unfair to me that these so-called elders would go to that extend just to keep me out of my own kingdom, but they were about to find out just how persistent I was.
