I was surprised to see elder John at my doorstep because the last time I had seen him he had seemed determined to make my life a living hell, so what the hell was he doing here? Was he here to kick me out of their little town too?
“Elizabeth, I apologize for barging in like this and unannounced” he apologized, he was no longer the man I had met at the mansion who was overflowing with pride, he was much more humble now and from my experience people with pride never humbled themselves to anyone unless they needed help/ so my question was what was this man who considered himself better an above me, want from me?
