Leaving Roman for the night, I stopped just before walking out of the door. “You should get some sleep tonight. The more sleep you get, the faster your body will heal.”
“Then I will get plenty of sleep because I want to get better very fast. I’ve got some plans that include a certain gorgeous nurse, but I need to be back on my feet to do them.”
“Sounds interesting. I hope she appreciates the work you’re putting into this endeavor.” I laughed then opened the door. “Goodnight, cowboy. See you in the morning.”
“Goodnight, nurse. I’ll see you in the morning too. You have yourself some sweet dreams. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if you had a dream or two about me while you’re sleeping. I’m pretty sure you’ll have the starring role in my dreams tonight.”
