11 ROMAN After the amazing kiss we’d had last night, my disappointment that Brynn hadn’t come by to see me before she left the hospital wasn’t surprising at all. I woke to the sounds of another lady bringing in my breakfast, and I asked, “Is Nurse Brynn still around?” “No. Her shift ended at six this morning. Nurse Joe is here.
