Zion..
"We received notice of the humans, two groups today attempted breaching The Court's border. Your brother advices you to have extra security emplaced as they might begin smuggling themselves in the palace, sir." The servant spoke before dismissing herself.
That man that I called my brother had set me up for failure. Since fathers death a month ago he has been pushing me to have the orcs lead the country again, he knew there was no changing dads mind but with me I was gullible.
"What I am doing is best for this country." I keep having to tell myself his words. "It's the least you could do as you have that disgraceful human blood in you, honour us orcs."
I shouldn't let his words rule me, I was king and he was nothing more than a prince. But still I let him rule me over thinking that his decisions were better than mines, now look.
What made the situation worse was that the heir for this kingdom wouldn't be an pure orc. Most likely a hybrid since I had no interest in orc men or women. And according to the guards that arrived back at the palace an hour ago, they had informed me that the person who I was going to mate was a human. A male human at that.
He'd already start causing ruckus in the palace since his arrival, he fled from the guards and was very vulgar towards bystanders - so I heard atleast.
So now I felt desirous to see this man for myself. He must've been very eye-catching for my men to bring him here alone, he was the first of them to come to my palace. Any other of the slaves were sent to my brother where he made use of them and whatever it was it was none of my business. My bride. My mate, was here for me inside the banquet.
I entered and immediately the lotus scent of Jasmine hit my noise. My head shifted to see the source of it to then see him.
Creamy caramel skin that glistened with golden flakes. He was doe-eyed with long hazel lashes, the colour of his orbs was nearly as fine as champagne. The gaze he gave me wasn't pleasant. Hatred reeked in it but it did not startle me what-so ever - in fact it was rather exciting.
On his head were bouncy umber curls. The male's rosebud lips were parted ever since I stepped foot inside, the need to have my seed smeared on them was overwhelming.
I lowered my eyes.
The table hid his full body from my view so I can only see his shined chest and plump n*****s - perfect for our children to feed on. His ribs were prominent as if he were a stray dog - I felt regretful knowing that there were others in worse conditions than this. His short fingers gripped the table cloth after I began making my way to the head seat. The seat right beside him.
His fiery glare was enough to tell me he didn't want me close. It unsettled me to see him so enraged. Taming this boy would not be easy.
Just as I was about to speak the servers entered the room placing our lunch across the table. Lobsters, shrimp and pork were served, at the side were veggie dishes and sauces. It was almost like the human was drooling over himself when seeing the food, his hands trembled from what I took as him controlling his instincts.
"Feast, minx."
Not bothered by the nickname the human dug right into the meal. Sauce splattered across his cheeks and in his hands were the countless meats. The man eating was maybe worse than some orcs. He must've been starving to act in such a way infront of a king or was it that he didn't care...
I grabbed a knife. The giant pig head was now dissected into small bits making it easier for the man to eat. He shot me a demented look but quickly continued feasting without thanking me. It was a shame I found pleasure watching him fill his mouth, seeing him satisfied amused me to an extent.
Finally he had finished leaving only bones on the golden platters. Using a napkin to clean his mouth and fingers he then brought his eyes back up to me.
"Thank you, your highness." His voice was low.
"Zion. Call me King Zion." He nodded his head, "And you are?"
"Thane. Stop being so willing with me, king Zion. I do not wish to marry you. Send me back from where your men found me."
"You want to go back to the trenches?" Honestly I was shocked, many slaves would have such high gratitude for an opportunity like his and still he wants to return to that infestation. Just the way Thane had devoured the meal was enough to tell me that he needed our luxuries, "I have everything here you could possibly desire, jewels and diamonds. Luxury garments from overseas and world class chefs. Even the honour of being my queen."
"...I don't want any of it, those were not trenches but my home. I need my family, king Zion! Not you or your bribes!" Thane pleaded in a yielding voice, refusing the marriage overall making me displeased with this behaviour.
No one has ever denied me of anything before now. And to be talked to like this by a human was worse.
The pain in his voice was clear. His desperation burned my chest but still I was greedy. Wickedly, I latched onto the boy's cheeks forcing him to look directly at me.
"You are mines, Thane. Tonight I will punish you for this behaviour, no one is to reject me!" Tears breached his eyes from my hands digging into his skin. There was nothing I could've done. Yes, I could've let him free and find another but I already had his fate sealed in my mind. I had become addicted to this creature.
I always get what I want...well so I believed.
Thane's arms grasped the table clothe taking one of the knifes before piercing it in my shoulder. The sudden pain made my grip loosen and focus to take out the knife, that was when the human took his escape.
The male's bare feet stepped on his long garments causing the fabric to rip revealing his thighs. The skin seamless and irresistible - just the taught of laying kisses on it and marking him as mine made my ears redden. The curved thighs paced quickly trough the halls as I chased behind them. The lining of his cocklet was very visible by now.
What felt like hours the human finally succumbed to his exhaustion. I found his body limp on the garden fields. Thane was now defenceless muttering harsh words under his breath. Then I noticed the blood, the human had sliced his ankle from the chase. Seeing him wounded brought back that aching pain in my chest.
What was this man doing to me. Orcs weren't meant to feel sympathy for humans. They are lower than us in every way.
Hadion's words repeated itself as if whole day I've been living off of them. I was my own man. He was not the king, I was. He was an Orc and I was half of that. There was no reason for me to mistreat this human even if all I was taught is to do so.
Something about this one....just intoxicated me.
"Thane. Accept my apologies I-" He swatted my hand sending me a daring glare. Falling to my knees to come to his aid, my hands press against the bleeding cut making the boy hiss and kick his feet, "Behave for once. Let me heal you."
Finally Thane stilled himself allowing me to wrap one of my waist bands around his ankle to prevent the blood spill. With that his doe eyes were stuck to my hooded ones, then his lips parted. Closed. Then opened up again for him to speak.
"I'll...let you court me. But in exchange you lift the ban on imports, allow the humans to eat freely."
"I can't do that-"
"Yes you f*****g can and will. Your word is law, king Zion. Do what I say or else you would wake up with me gone from this palace."
"I'd chain you so you cant run, then I'd take you by force."
"Chain me and the next place a knife is landing is in your eyes." For some reason I turn weak when it came to his voice. Unable to respond I just suck in a breath before reaching onto my feet then after lifting Thane. His slim figure dangled over my shoulder.
How was I breaking at this human's demands. The creature couldn't even walk on his own without his legs buckling yet he'd manage for a king to go back on his word.
It was primal instinct for orcs to breed once choosing their mate. Primal for them to be the dominating one in the relationship so why was I submitting for him. It wasn't all beauty that made him alter my decisions. No it wasn't that. It was pure enrapturment. The way he spoke so freely, this gallant way of carrying himself. It was rebellious, something I never witnessed before. I couldn't believe it. Neither I or any other orc in history had seen such a sight.
Thane was having his way with me.
There was no way in hell I would let this behaviour slide as easily, this was a one time arrangement. Yes, the changes made this evening shall never happen again.
After this I would have the human bowing at my every need.
And I would have him as my chosen mate.
