Who is she?

Unknowns PVO.

The hall is crowded with people coming to celebrate the Alpha ceremony for Jaden Hydes. I'm only attending because of my friendship with his father. Jaden is a spoiled brat who can't make a decision by himself.

The music is load and my pack is having fun. Me? Not so much. I hate these events. The food is good though and the whiskey is okay. I'm seated in the left corner near the bar.

I notice a girl. She is taller than all the other girls in here, she has long, curly brown hair and her skin is a delicious tan. She's out on the dance floor, dancing by herself.

She is surrounded by a lot of guys, betas, gammas and omegas. She doesn't even look at them. It's amusing.

The guys try their best to get her attention, but she doesn't care about them. All of a sudden, she stops dancing. She looks around the room like she's searching for someone. She locks her eyes at a beta and a girl.

The beta is holding the girls arm. She walks over to them, her steps is very determined. I follow her movements with my eyes. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. I can sense her strength, but she can't be more than an omega. She feels like an omega.

There is something about her. What do you mean? I can't get in contact with her wolf. She's strong.

The girl reaches the beta and the girl. The girl is crying, her arm is bleeding. The mystery girl is talking to the beta. He looks furious. I can't hear what they say but I can see the beta's fury.

His eyes darken and his face turns red. The girl doesn't back down. She steps closer and stands her ground when the beta starts to walk towards her.

Damn, that girl has got some backbone. She is smaller than him. She's badass. The beta takes a swing at her cheek, but she dodges his blow and grabs his throat.

I quickly jump up from my chair, I'm chocked. The girl lifts the beta from the ground and now she has the entire crowd's attention. This makes Caleb, the betas Alpha, stand up, angry.

I can hear him growl and mumble. "What's going on?!".

I follow Caleb close behind and watch carefully the situation from a distance. Caleb roars at the girl. She doesn't look affected by his anger, she even looks bored.

Caleb growls at her. "What the hell do you think you're doing?! Get your hands off my beta!" She keeps having eye contact with him, looking unaffected by his words.

She starts talking in a overly calm voice, it makes me chuckle. "Your beta insulted af girl, a minor. I told him to stop. He didn't, instead he attacked me. I stopped him from doing something illegal, you're welcome."

I can't help but smile at her comment and her smile is breathtaking. You're welcome, what a comment. She is not afraid of pissing of an Alpha.

Caleb doesn't find it amusing. "I can smell your weakness. You are no more than an omega. How dare you go against the laws of nature? You're a nobody and you will die for this."

She starts laughing and that's a big mistake. Caleb takes a step closer to her. I put my hand on his shoulder, it's firm and jet gentle. She looks at me with blood red eyes, they soften up slowly becoming crystal blue. They are beautiful.

I lean in and whispers in Calebs ear. "Caleb, this is not the place or time. Stop this now."

Calebs body loses tension and he says to the mystery girl. "I apologize for my beta's behavior, he will not be a problem again." He turns his attention to his beta, who looks frightened.

He growls at him and the beta gets up quickly. Poor guy, he will not be alive tomorrow. Caleb doesn't want a beta who gets his ass kicked by a girl.

The mystery girl turns her attention to the crying girl, they walk into the kitchen and I find my way to the bar. I order a whiskey and scan the room.

My pack is back to having fun and dancing. My beta, Aidan, is standing near me. He's my best friend and always has been. He always knows what I think, even before I do. He trains our most experienced wolves, he's an excellent killer. I mind link with him.

Are you enjoying yourself, Aidan? Yes Alpha, the whiskey is good. Are you? Yes, the ceremony was fine. That's not what I'm referring to, Alpha. Then what were you referring to, beta? Nothing Alpha.

I chuckle. Aidan is my best friend but he is not allowed to make any assumptions on my behave. I suddenly notice the mystery girl. She looks right at me and I straighten up a little.

Careful Alpha, or you might end up blushing. I give Aidan a death stare, and he gets the point.

She walks up to the bar and orders a whiskey. My kind of girl. She amuse me with her not-a-care-in-the-world look. She turns her head to face mine and look me in my eyes, with a smile on her pretty face.

"What are you smiling at?" I start laughing and she looks at me with surprise.

"What are you laughing at? You are very rude right now". I stop laughing and I decide to tease her, just a little.

"You are the one who's being rude and disrespectful. You should learn to respect those higher than you. You are just an omega."

A chuckle slips her lips. She steps closer to me, keeping intense eye contact with me. "Who says I'm an omega?".

My eyes widens in surprise. "Aren't you?". She takes another step and whispers in my ear. "No."

Oh god, she is killing me. She takes a deep breath, and I can sense her satisfaction. I take a deep breath and her scent is breathtaking. I can feel the lust building op inside me. My eyes darken as we stand there, paralyzed by each others scent.

I shake my mind back on track and suddenly says. "You haven't thanked me yet?". She laughs again. "Why would I thank you?"

I furrow my brows. What a dumb question or is she teasing me? Perhaps. "I just saved you from being ripped apart?!"

I ask with a tiny frustration. She laughs at me again. "You didn't save me? I had it under control."

She winks at my now frustrated face. "You're gonna get yourself killed with that attitude." She pops her lower lip and gives me the cutest dog eyes. Oh I would love to kiss those lips, they look so soft.

"Then it's good I have my own hero right here." She touch my arm with a delicate touch. I'm surprised by her touch but everything inside me fights against the urge to take her, right here and now.

She suddenly looks distant in her gaze. She is being mind linked, I know the look. She suddenly looks in my eyes again, and says.

"I'm sorry but I have to go." Before I can say a thing, she turns on her heel and walks out of the hall. I keep my eyes on her, a little chocked. She has a gorgeous ass.

Oh I'm in trouble now. I can feel my wolf all excited, he better not get too excited. I don't even know her name or which pack she belongs to.
