Chapter 5 - The Party Part1

*** Ella's POV***

Entering the house it was just how I imagined it to be, music blaring, people dancing, groups in each corner, I clung on to Bethany like my life depended on it so I couldn't get lost or separated.

Weaving through the sea of students I heard people shouting and whistling. We finally made our way to the kitchen when Bethany stopped dead in her tracks.

"Oh great what is he doing here? and why is he speaking to my cousin, eew they are even laughing together what the hell?, Anyways Ella let's ignore him.."

Looking over I saw Josh talking with Zane, I hated to admit it but he looked so dam handsome ! With his signature black boots and jeans but with a dark blue shirt rolled up to his elbows. They were both surrounded by girls, more so Zane, with one girl latched on to his arm. I was beginning to feel so uncomfortable like I stuck out like a sore thumb and didn't belong here. I was just about to tell Bethany when..

"Cuz! you made it" Josh yelled

Oh great we've been spotted...

Bethany took hold of my wrist and led us over to where the group was standing, we were instantly met with glares from the other girls but that didn't bother Bethany she just gave her cousin a hug. Meanwhile my heart was pounding and I was sure it could be seen beating rapidly through my dress.

"Thanks for FINALLY letting us come to a party of yours Josh" Bethany said pulling back from his arms.

"Well I know your only a year younger than me but that still makes you my little cousin and we both know your Dad would of booted us both if I had of...Woah!..Hello Ella.."Josh smirked, "I didn't see you there hiding behind Bethany you look great", He stood forward and gave me a small hug then leaned back giving me a wink which didn't go unnoticed by Bethany.

"Hey don't even think about it" she snapped lightly hitting his arm, "She's too good for you anyway" she said smirking back. Josh gave a low chuckle back.

I looked up after blushing from Josh's wink and saw Zane's gaze heavily on me, he was slowly looking me up and down, probably thinking that I looked out of place, I knew this dress was too short, his eyes looked intense, he could still be seething from me answering him back earlier.

Bethany took my arm and guided me way to get a drink at the other side of the room, we were interrupted when two different guys stood infront of us , one of them asked if we wanted a drink, I politely declined when he placed an arm around my waist.

"It's okay honestly we are just getting our own thanks," I replied squirming out of his grip, they both smiled at us slowly before walking off. Something about them just gave me the creeps.

"Oh my god did you see Zane checking you out?, he couldn't take his eyes off you" Bethany squeaked.

I suddenly glanced over my shoulder and our eyes met, I looked away quickly feeling my cheeks heat up.

We finished our drinks from the corner of the room, I began to relax listening to the music and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. A short while later some girls came over and introduced themselves, they said they hadn't seen us before at a party and when we explained that it was our first time, they reassured us that we would be okay. One girl called Jasmine pointed around the room telling us about each group, and where they were from, I recognized some students from my school but most of them were from other senior schools and even colleges nearby. I spotted those two guys from before and asked Jasmine who they were, she said she didn't know much about them just that they turn up every now and again at the odd party but advised us to stay away from them just incase. 

The girls gave Bethany and I a drink, we knew it was alcoholic but it tasted fruity and one drink cant harm right? Bethany soon downed hers and asked for another. She was really making the most of this party.
