Lena’s POV
Throbbing. Everything was throbbing. I could feel my pulse throughout my entire body. There was a stinging in my left arm when I tried to move it. What was this pressure on my legs? Why wouldn’t I move my legs? I turned my head, my eyes shut. My head hurts so much. I must be hearing things. Was that a baby? Who was shushing the baby? I turned my head back and finally decided to open my eyes and see was happening.
“Where am I?” I whispered out with a dry throat. The pressure on my legs lifted. I looked down and I saw Xander shoot up and look at me. He must have been sleeping on my legs. He quickly got up and went next to me, looking me in the eyes.
“Oh my gosh you’re awake...” he stated. Why did he sound so surprised.
