Luke’s POV
I didn’t think that Mia and Lena would explode the way they did. This was a great opportunity for Kyle and I wanted to make sure it went off without a hitch. If this goes through, then Kyle won’t have to worry about finding a job somewhere where he is unhappy and he will actually be able to be home with Mia more often, since he will be able to develop programs from home and only have to go to the base when needed so they can be implemented.
What was really bothering me though, was that Jack bottle I found outside. I didn’t want to tell Lena, but besides the bottle, there were fresh footsteps by the window and it was slightly fogged up telling me that someone was out there watching, but I didn’t want her to freak out more than she was. She didn’t need that.
