“Alena!” I heard someone yelling after me. I kept walking and I didn’t turn around. I kept walking to a place I know where I can clear my head. “Alena!” I heard them call again. I heard gravel crunching behind me, the panting getting closer but I didn’t turn around. “ALENA” they screamed. I stopped, froze. I turned to look over my shoulder and there was no one there. I shook my head and continued to get away from everyone, letting my feet take me where they want to go. Minutes later, I was sitting in the warm sand, burying my toes, feeling the coarseness as I wiggled them, slowly getting deeper. I sat with me hugging my knees, shoes to my right, wind blowing through the air, watching the sun go down. I looked out into the water as the sky started to turn darker, the sun setting behind me
