Ava rounded up after the fifth trip and headed back home. Extremely hot and sweating profusely, she dashed into the bathroom immediately after she got to the house. She ran a very cold bath and soaked herself in it, closing her eyes as the euphoric feeling washed over her.
She was already dozing off about thirty minutes in when she heard the doorbell ring.
Her eyes snapped open, and she stared at the ceiling, waiting to hear it again, wondering who it was.
It rang again, this time more impatiently. She reluctantly got out of the tub and rinsed the soap off her body. Then she wrapped her hair with a towel, and her body with another, before she strode out of the bathroom.
She got to the door and turned on the screen that was connected to the CCTV outside.
