  Wilmer Grayson paced about the room, restless. He wondered if the operation had been successful.   He'd expected to hear from the man he'd hired over two hours ago, but he'd heard nothing. Not a phone call. Not a text.   The man he'd hired was a professional, so he expected him to do well. He hoped he had succeeded, because he wasn't willing to deal with the consequences if he didn't.   The doorbell rang and the suddenness jolted him.   He eagerly strode to the door and opened it.
