Ezekiel stood up and just grinned as if unaffected. I was stunned again when Manuel grabbed him and he fell to the side of a coconut tree.
"What brother?" Ezekiel's voice was mixed with sarcasm but his jaw tensed.
"Stay away from her." emphasized Manuel's warning.
Manuel's strangled hand on him and he removed it and looked at him.
"Maybe you're forgetting you have a fiancee." Ezekiel said.
I covered my lips and bowed. Wiped away the tears with a shaking hand.
Manuel pushed him against the coconut tree again. "This is not a game Ezekiel. I'm serious here. Don't worry because I know what to do."
"Well, I'm serious too, brother."
I swallowed when Ezekiel looked at me and left.
