Lindsay's POV
I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came forth. He had already told me not to reject his gift. I couldn't even count how many times I had rejected his offers. For him to assign a bodyguard for me, that meant he suspected me or was it solely for my protection? I had to ask myself.
“Shaun I don't understand" I mumbled as I turned to look at Shaun who had his intent eyes on me. it was almost as if he was watching every one of my expressions.
“I need to be assured of your safety Lindsay," he said firmly and I didn't know how to oppose him. One thing was certain, I didn't need a bodyguard.
“I don't need a bodyguard Shaun '' I blurted out and watched a frown appear on his face as he stared at me in confusion.
“What do you mean Lindsay?"
“I don't need a bodyguard" I said
