Lindsay's POV I was so devastated that I found it hard to say anything for the first few seconds. I opened my mouth to speak, but a gasp escaped instead. “Asher, is there a problem?" I tried to ask, but the call had already ended. My overthinking self played in. I started thinking of the numerous reasons he would call me. I rushed back to the room where Shaun was.
