Chapter 6: A Second Chance

"Son LET. HER. GO! That's an order." My father used his alpha tone with me. I didn't want to listen but I new he was in charge.

"Fine b***h isn't worth my time anyways!"

"Chad Lee Wyatt, I don't know what your problem is but we don't disrespect women around here!" my mother used her Luna voice. While rushing to the now unconscious w***e on the floor.

"I don't give a flying..."

"If you finish that sentence so help me goddess I will not let your father give you the Alpha title!" my mother sounded pissed was she really defending this b***h?

"You can't do that!" I was enraged.

"Try me son, I don't need the Luna's opinion or approval to know that if you keep this up I will NOT give you the title."

"You're taking this slut's side over your own son's?"

"She's not a slut but yes until you show respect towards women I will hold the title for a few more years." he spat at me.

Olivia's POV:

I woke up in the pack hospital, again. I just got out 2 days ago. Doctor Adams said I was only out a few hours. I decided to talk to the Alpha and Luna today. I want to stay with my brother in the Silver Young Pack. I walked down the hall up the stairs and right to Alpha Mason's office.

*Knock, knock*

"Come in", Mason said with authority.

"Alpha. Luna. I'm sorry to interupt but I had to ask you something."

"Oh, okay what is it sweetheart?" Layla asked sweetly.

"Can I leave the pack and go Silver Young Pack? My brother is staying there and I really need him. I can't stay 2 more weeks here." I said with tears in my eyes.

"Let me call up Alpha Micheal and we will discuss the issues."

"Yes sir." I waited as the phone rang and a really masculine voice appeared on the other side.

"Hello, Alpha Mason. What do I owe the favor?

"Alpha Micheal, it is great talking to you but I have a serious matter to discuss with you."

"Oh okay, I sure hope it doesn't involve any of my pack members. I assume they have been behaving when they come over?"

"Oh of course, they always show great manners and are very polite. This matter is with a guest you have and a guest I have. They are twins, I believe you have Oliver Summers?"

"Yes sir, and you have his sister Olivia Summers."

"Yes well, her mate was my son Chad."

"Was?? Mason what do you mean was?"

"Micheal, Chad was horrible to her leading her to reject him. Olivia has asked to spend the next 2 weeks with her brother at your pack."

"I see, why yes of course she can. When will be expecting her?"

"Once I pack Alpha, I'll leave immediately thank you so much."

"You are very welcome I'll inform my guards of your arrival. Alpha Mason great doing business with you."

"Same to you, good friend." with that they hung up.

I went back to my room after hugging the Alpha and Luna. I packed all of my belongings and headed towards the Silver Young Pack. After 30 minutes I had arrived at the gate. There was a very tall muscular man who stopped me.

"What can I do for you miss?" his voice was very loud and had little authority.

"I'm Olivia Summers."

"Yes, Olivia. Good to have you, if you will please follow the driveway till you come to a roundabout, then a man will take your vehicle and park it."

"Great thank you." I made my way up the driveway. Someone opened my door and I got out.

"Olivia, I missed you." Oliver raced towards me picking me up in his embrace and spun me around. "I'm so sorry about your mate. Maybe you'll get a second chance."

"I've missed you Olly, and yeah maybe, how are you and your mate? When can I meet her?"

"Right now if you like, she is in our room. Well maybe we can meet with her later, first and for most this is Alpha Micheal and Luna Elizabeth."

"So nice to see you again dear." Liz was always like another mother to me when I came with Oliver.

"Its so good to see you, I've missed you Liz."

"We've missed you as well, you remember our son Liam, don't you?"

"Yes of course where is..."

"Olivia?" Olly asked but I was too focused on the smell of pinecones and roses to realize he was still talking to me.

"Liv...you look beautiful. What are you doing here?" Liam shook his head meaning he was just as confused as me.

"I don't feel so good."

"Olivia, whats wrong?"

No no no. Please Goddess not again, was all I could think before darkness took over.

Liam's POV:

Mother mindlinked me to come downstairs because we had a visitor. As I walked through the door to outside I started smelling mangos. Fresh, mouth-watering mangos. Then I saw her...Liv, just as beautiful as ever.

"Liv...you look beautiful. What are you doing here?" She had concern written all over her face.

"I don't feel so good."

"Olivia, whats wrong?" I said as I moved a little closer but before I could Liv fainted, falling backwards as I used my wolf speed to catch her. I rushed as fast as I could to the pack hospital while mindlinking Dr. Taylors.

Dr. Taylors are you busy? I need you.

Alpha Liam whats wrong?

I have my mate Olivia Summers, she passed out. Can you help?

Bring her to me.

As I arrived at the pack hospital, Oliver was right on my heels and I never knew it till we stopped running.

"Liam what did you do to my sister?" he was pissed.

"Olly please I didn't do anything Liv is my mate."

"Oh no." he was concerned but a hint of relief could be heard.

"What 'oh no'...what Olly?"

Oliver explained everything he could about Olivia's first mate. My wolf was furious, I was furious. How could someone treat their mate like that?

"No wonder she looked scared of me." I felt bad for not knowing she was in pain.

"Yeah...hey look here comes Dr. Taylors." I stood up waiting for him to tell me what happened.

"Her blood pressure dropped Alpha. She is going to be okay. She's asking to see you and Oliver." I ran to her room goddess she looked beautiful.

"Liv, how are you feeling?" Oliver asked.

"My head hurts and I'm tired of waking up in hospitals."

"What do you mean?" I was getting angry, what did Chad do to her?

"Liam we have a lot to discuss please sit. Olly can I have a minute with Liam?" Her voice was sad but I didn't sit.

"Of course sissy, I'll let mom and dad know you made it safely." Turning to me he said, "you better not hurt my sister Liam. She's been through enough."

"You have my word Olly." He smiled and left. Leaving me and my beautiful mate to talk.

"Liv..."

"Wait Liam, I need you to listen to me, please sit." She patted the bed beside her. "Liam you aren't my first mate." She said with tears in her eyes. "When I saw you I..."

"Liv, baby its okay, Oliver already told me."

"Not all of it Liam."

"What do you mean Liv?"

"Chad was my first mate, I knew the minute he bumped into me, but he called me a peasant. He slept with a girl from the pack not even 2 nights after our encounter, I ended up in the pack hospital. My heart shattered, literally, but I still had hope. Almost four days passed, he avoided me until one day in the kitchen..." She paused holding back her tears. "...he grabbed my wrist, hurting me. I tried to get away but he was too strong. He said 'Let me make myself clear. I, Chad Wyatt, will never want you as my mate.' I had dropped to the floor before Chad's father interupted, taking us to his office where s**t hit the fan. He called me a b***h and when I rejected him he was furious. He said he was an alpha and supposed to be the one who rejected me. He ran towards me throwing his hands around my neck until I passed out. Waking up yet again in the pack hospital."

I took in everything she said. I was even more pissed off then before. Chad will pay, but first my mate needs me.

"Liv, sweetheart?"

"Yes Liam?"

"I don't know what he was thinking, but I will NEVER reject you. My world revolves around you baby. Please don't reject me because of Chad. I'm nothing like him."

"I'm not going to reject you Liam, I was scared at first but you're my second chance. we grew up together, I know you'd never hurt me."

She smiled up at me and I couldn't help myself I gently rose my hand up to her cheek and around her neck pulling her closer to me. Kissing her breathlessly. The sparks from our touch only made me want her more. Her lips are all mine. She is all mine.
