Chapter 12: Rescued but Damaged

Liam's POV:
"Liam?"
"Vanessa, WHERE IS OLIVIA!?!"
"Liam she's okay. We are located between two of your neighboring packs in an old cabin. Chad is asleep."
"Why are you telling me this?"
" I wanted to show Olivia I was supposed be Luna, but Chad had other plans. I never wanted to hurt her. I didn't know he was ...look, I told Olivia I'd get her out. I don't care what you do to me, but please hurry before he wakes up."
"I'm on my way, stay put in the cabin. I'll deal with you later. And Vanessa, please don't let Chad hurt her. I'm only an hour away."
"I won't alpha. I'll protect her with my life."
You better is all I could think; first she took my mate and then allowed Chad to rape her. She will have serious consequences, but right now I need to find my Luna. I opened my mind link to all of the trackers:
ATTENTION ALL TRACKERS. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE. WE HAVE LOCATED YOUR LUNA. TIMOTHY, YOUR TEAM WILL CIRCLE AROUND AND ENTER FROM THE NORTH. MATHTHEW YOUR TEAM WILL CIRCLE AROUND AND ENTER THROUGH THE EAST. THE REST OF YOU WILL SPLIT INTO SOUTH AND WEST WITH ME AND GABRIEL.
YES ALPHA. They all said in unison. Okay baby I'm coming. Just hold on a little longer.
Olivia's POV:
After Vanessa left the room, I had felt myself slowly fading once again. Damn, why can't I stay awake? I heard a noise from outside the room. Was he coming back for more? Oh, Goddess, please no, please don't let him touch me. I was whipped from my thoughts when the door opened.
"No please."
"Shh, Olivia, it's me Vanessa. Chad is asleep. Listen, I managed to get a hold of Liam through a mind link, he was coming. I'm sorry, I really have to go. Chad will be up soon, and I can't let him near you."
"Wait, what are you going to do?"
"I'm going to give him what he wants, just not you."
"Vanessa, I can't ask you to do that. What if he hurts you?"
"Olivia, I told Liam I would protect you with my life. I should have protected you sooner, but I was so caught up in power that I couldn't see what Chad really wanted."
"Please be careful." She went to walk out the door. "And Vanessa?"
"Yes Luna?"
"I forgive you."
"Thank you, Luna, but I do not deserve your forgiveness; not yet."
Vanessa left the room. I'm assuming to go back before Chad wakes up. Goddess, please don't let anything bad happen to her. I felt my eyes getting heavy; slowly but surely, I was losing consciousness again.
Vanessa's POV:
After Olivia told me she forgave me, I felt my heart sink to my stomach. What have I done? How could I have been so blind not to see that Olivia is perfect for Luna's position? After everything I have done for her, she is still nice to me and even defended me from the Alpha. I need to fix this and quickly.
I went back to the bedroom that Chad was sleeping in and crawled into bed. I was extremely nervous about being in a bed with someone who could be so cruel as to rape his ex-mate. I put on my brave face and laid there waiting for him to wake up.
It felt like two hours had passed before Chad woke up from his deep sleep. I waited the entire time for him to finally stir. Now is my chance to make things better.
"Look who is finally awake, Mr. Alpha." I teased.
"Yes, well, it seems you have been waiting."
"I couldn't sleep."
"Well, maybe we should go check on our prisoner, don't you think?"
"Um actually, I was thinking maybe I could show you what Olivia can't."
"Oh jealous, are we?" Please only in your dreams.
"Yes, well, I just don't know what she has that I don't."
"Shall we see."
"Yes Alpha."
"Good girl." He came towards me with a sly smile.
Please hurry Liam. I don't know how long I can hold him off.
Don't worry Venessa, we are on our way.
Liam's POV:
As I neared the cabin that Vanessa said they were in, I had my men surround it quietly, making sure not to draw attention to us.
Vanessa, we are outside, keep him distracted long enough for us to get Olivia and then we'll get him away.
Okay, she is in the far bedroom chained to the bed. The key is on the table.
"Gabriel keep an eye on the front, the plan is to secure Olivia's and Vanessa's safety and then I will handle Chad."
"Yes Alpha."
"Alright, teams head out."
As I get closer to my Liv, I feel my heart racing and I want nothing more than to hold her in my arms. I reached the back entrance and, thankfully, Vanessa left the door unlocked. I suppose when I get them to safety, we'll discuss letting her stay in the pack. I found the room on the left side shut. I slowly open it and see my fragile beautiful mate chained to the bed unconscious.
"Liv, honey, can you hear me?"
"Liam?"
"Yes baby, it's me. I'm getting you out of here." I unchained her little wrists from the bed and carried her to Gabriel.
"Gabriel keep an eye on her. I have unfinished business to attend to."
"Yes Alpha, we have eyes on the target, and it seems he has Vanessa on the bed."
"Liam, please don't let him hurt her."
"I won't baby, just rest. I'll be back."
I walked to the front door and opened the door on the right to see Chad on top of Vanessa. He stops and looks back at me shocked.
"How did you find me?"
"Don't worry about that, now let her go."
"I don't think I will, you see Olivia wrecked..."
"Oh no, you see I already have Liv. I meant to let Vanessa go."
"W-what do you mean you already have "Liv"."
"Well, you see, while V had you occupied, I grabbed Olivia from the room, and she is safe with me now."
"You B-"
"Nuh uh Alpha Chad, manners in front of women. Now you leave me no choice. When I found out you raped Liv, I was furious, and I decided that you would pay for what you did."
I had Vanessa leave the cabin. As soon as she left, I charged at Chad, and we fought till, eventually, I beat and left Chad's bloody beaten body lying on the cold floor. He will never hurt Liv ever again.
Olivia's POV:
"Liv, honey, can you hear me?"
"Liam?"
"Yes baby, it's me I'm getting you out of here."
I had sunk into bed when I heard his sweet voice. I'm saved. I knew he'd find me. Relief flooded my body till I heard Gabriel tell Liam that they could see Chad on top of Vanessa. I know she had abducted me and was rude to me, but I would never wish what Chad did to me on anyone.
"Liam, please don't let him hurt her."
"I won't, baby, just rest I'll be back."
I felt extremely tired, and Gabriel could tell, so he told me to sleep till we got back to the pack. I felt myself go unconscious. I woke up in the pack hospital with Liam sleeping in the chair beside me.
"Look who's up, how are you feeling?"
"Better, how long was I out?"
" A couple of days, you were exhausted and dehydrated. The doctor decided to give you a sedative to help you sleep and fluids nonstop. You were having nightmares; I could feel your pain and fear. Don't worry, I'll go get the doc. Maybe you can come home today."
The doctor came in and told me everything looked fine. I had some bruising but no internal damage. I have to be on bed rest for about a week. Liam brought in food. I instantly felt nauseous.
"Baby, are you okay?"
"Yeah, just the smell of that food makes me nauseous." The doctor raised his eyebrows and asked, "Olivia, when was your last cycle?"
"Um, about a month, I think. It should be here soon. Why?"
"I'm going to keep you just a little longer. Do you think I could have some blood tests done?"
"Yeah, I guess that would be fine. Is everything okay, doctor?"
"Yeah, I don't want to worry you, just a little checkup, okay."
We sat in the hospital room after the doctor left with my blood. About an hour later he returned but his face didn't show any emotions. "Olivia, Liam, congrats you are pregnant."
"WHAT?!?" I basically yelled.
"Well, the smell of the pizza Liam brought made you nauseous and you hadn't had a cycle in a month. I didn't want to make a big deal until I knew for sure, but the results came back positive, and we checked it 3 times." The doctor explained.
"We're pregnant?" Liam asked, with a big smile.
"Yes Alpha, now I want Olivia back in one week, okay."
"Yes sir."
We went back to our room in the pack house and discussed the baby. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I have always wanted to be a mom, but I'm slightly scared I won't be a good one. I'm still getting over the fact that I got raped by Chad.
"Baby, I know you're worried I'm your mate. Remember I can feel every emotion you have."
"I know, I'm trying not to worry. I just don't know if I'm going to be a good mom."
"You're going to be a great mom honey, plus you aren't alone. You have me."
"Thank you, baby. When should we announce?"
"Let's wait till after the week's checkup, okay?"
I called Mia and told her to be here in two weeks and that I had something to tell her.
