Chapter 3: Love and Pain

Olivia's POV:
I spent the afternoon with Mia and her parents. When dinner came around we walked down stairs to eat. As I sat down with Mia, I couldn't help but to feel eyes on me. When I glanced I saw the same anger filled eyes that I bumped into earlier.
I took out my phone and messaged Mia.
Hey why is Chad staring at me like that?
Idk, was he the one you bumped into?
Yeah, and he looked just as angry. How old is he?
Chad just turned 19, still no mate.
I wonder if he knew something I didn't. As I finished dinner me and Mia excused ourselves and went back to Mia's room.
"So miss thing tomorrow is your birthday how do you feel?" Mia asked.
"Scared, what if I find my mate?"
"So what?"
"So what if he rejects me?"
"Olivia, most werewolves cherish the mate bond I'm sure he'll love you."
"I don't know, I'm just worried you know." I said more like a statement than a question.
"Come on lets go to bed, big day tomorrow."
As I went back to my room to go to bed I couldn't help but think:
what if Chad is my mate.
He'll for sure reject me.
I already know.
I made it to my room and changed into some pjs. Snuggled my way into the bed and as soon as I got comfortable I was out like a light.
Chad's POV:
This b**** has the audacity and to run into me in the hallway and then sit across from me at dinner who does she think she is. I realized when she bumped into me that she was my mate but her birthday wasn't until tomorrow so she couldn't tell, but I could. Her sweet mango and fresh rain filled my nose, I fought the urge and instead anger filled my senses, I didn't want a mate especially someone as weak as Olivia.
After dinner and Olivia and Mia left, I went to my room to take a shower and sleep away these damn thoughts of her. I ran the cold water for a while and when I was done I dried my hair and wrapped the towel around my waist. When I came out of the bathroom Abigail was on my bed. Fully naked. Her beautiful red hair flowed down her hourglass shaped body, she had dark blue eyes and they were full of lust. I have been sleeping with Abigail for at least a year now. Olivia didn't affect me none.
I walked to the bed threw off my towel and pounced on Abigail. Her purr made my d*** hard as a rock. I picked her up and softly laid her on the bed, using my hands to touch every part of her delectable body. She moaned under my touch which made me even harder. I slid my hand down her thigh to her sweet spot, she was soaking wet.
"What do you want baby girl?" I asked with my lips barely touching hers as I moved my fingers in and out of her wet p****. She moaned "your hard d*** inside of my tight p**** Alpha." That was all I needed I shoved my hardened member so hard into her she screamed out. Now she isn't a virgin but tonight I wanted rough angry s** which made her cry out all night. Eventually 3:00am came and I finished.
"Baby put this on and just stay here tonight okay" I said, handing her my shirt. I never let her sleep in here but tonight I needed her to. "Okay, you never let me is everything okay?"
"Yes, just want you in here tonight, please?"
"Yes Alpha." She said with a smile I was content and after a while sleep caught up to us both.
Olivia's POV:
"Ahh!!!" I screamed while sobbing. Sometime after 12:00am my chest started to hurt. At first it was manageable but then about an hour later I couldn't breathe. I called Mia to my room who suggested we go see Dr. Adams. I didn't protest but Mia's mom had to come help because I couldn't walk. When we got to the pack hospital Dr. Adams was waiting. She got me into a room and asked what was wrong.
"An hour ago. my chest started hurting. but then about five minutes. before we came down it got to where. I can't. hardly. breathe. I can't. even. walk." I was getting more and more out of breath.
"First things first I'm going to check your vitals, take some blood, and then ask you some questions okay?"
"Okay."
He did exactly that, my vitals were not good I can't remember what he said they were but he was concerned.
"Olivia have you found your mate?"
"What no today is eighteenth birthday I haven't even shifted or anything." I was taken aback that she'd ask me that.
"Do you have an idea of who it might be? Anything happen within the last twelve hours?"
"I ran into Alpha Chad and he kept giving me dirty looks but other than that no." my breathing was becoming better but my chest still hurt real bad.
"Do you have your wolf yet, concentrate on your mind and see if you here someone talking."
I focused for about ten minutes and then I heard it.
Hey Olivia I'm Jesabell, I'm your wolf.
What, what do you mean my wolf, we can communicate?
Yes we are one mind, one soul.
What's happening to us?
Chad is our mate and he's a bad mate, he slept with another she-wolf.
"Olivia are you okay?" Dr. Adams interupted my thoughts.
"Jesabell said Chad is my mate and has been sleeping with another she-wolf."
"Oh dear that's what I thought." Dr. Adams said with a disappointed look.
"What do you mean, whats going to happen?"
"Well honey it depends on you, but if I were you I'd reject him now before his careless actions kill you."
"KILL ME?!?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY KILL ME?!?" I screamed and cried.
"Olivia his careless actions can cause so much physical pain that it can be fatal. I need you to calm down and listen. If he knows you're his mate, which he probably does, he is proving that he's not a good mate for you. Its not too commonly heard of but some werewolves who were wronged or rejected by their first mate can get a second chance." Dr. Adams explained.
"What if I don't will I be alone forever?"
"If you are not given a second chance yes, but it is better than being tied down to a mate thatbis going to hurt you."
"I understand, thank you Dr. Adams." I said while getting quite dizzy.
"Doctor her pulse is rising, her blood pressure is dropping. O2 is also dropping."
"Give her 25mg of benzodiazepine, watch her vitals I'm going to call her parents."
"Yes Doctor."
I felt the medicine push through my veins then darkness took over and the pain eased but never went away.
