Tina’s awake

Bea’s POV:

I couldn’t stop eating all these goodies in front of me.

One perk of being a wolf, you know if your food is actually safe to eat.

Lucky my captor was nice enough to provide me with these delicious goodies.

I’m not a picky eater so I enjoy whatever it is.

“Ewww” I spit out the pea that I mistakenly ate. Spoke too soon I guess.

Of all things, I just can’t stomach peas. The texture is weird and the taste is just...

Anyway, everything else is divine!

I wonder if this is my last feast before I’m executed.

Although I was thinking that, I didn’t believe it one bit.

My danger radar wasn’t blaring in alarm and like I said, my wolf Tina hasn’t woken up from her nap.

“Hi girlie!” As soon as I thought that, I heard a bright cheery voice in my head.

Huh, I spoke too soon again. I wonder if this is going to become a habit.

“HI TINA!” I yelled enthusiastically to her. “Glad to see you up and about.”

“You don’t have to be so sarcastic girl, missed me?” Tina laughed at my tone.

“Yeah, that and also have you noticed the place we’re at?” I rolled my eyes and asked her.

“Huh?! Where are we? Aren’t you supposed to be getting married?” Tina asked, finally noticing where we’re at.

“Funny you say ‘you’ since we are both supposed to marry him. Me to the alpha and you to his wolf.” I said dryly.

“Eh, I don’t even like his wolf” Tina gagged.

“His wolf is beautiful! He’s got black shiny fur!” I defended the alpha’s wolf.

“Puh-lease, so basic I could cry. Why you would want to marry someone who’s not your fated mate is beyond me.” Tina complained.

We have discussed this before. Since we haven’t met our mate yet, we went along with the wedding. Tina wasn’t thrilled of course but she didn’t complain much.

That’s because Tina is similar to me. She doesn’t feel the need to mate with any wolf either.

Which is weird since all wolves are crazy about their fated mates.

Other wolves would think we were crazy if they knew.

But that’s how the goddess created us so...meh

“Well, forget about that. This is a pretty nice room.” Tina whistled after looking around the room.

“Right, except we have been kidnapped by god knows who.” I replied with a hint of sarcasm in my tone.

“Not a bad thing really. In fact, we should stay here for a few days.” Tina replied.

Ok...this is getting weird. Tina would normally be the first one to be on alert about this situation.

Usually, she wouldn’t be asleep for this long. Not when we’re in unfamiliar and new territory. She would wake up immediately to protect us.

“Tina, what’s going on?” I asked her.

“We gotta stay here for a few days.” Tina said matter of factly.

“What, why?!” I’m getting shocked now. What the hell is going on?!! This is crazy, even for her!

“Just trust me. Don’t get us kicked out of here. I hear someone coming.” Tina said quickly.

And soon enough, the door swung open, revealing my captor.

At least, that’s what I think since I don’t know who kidnapped me.

He walked in and stood in front of me. With him standing so near, I could smell his delicious scent.

Chocolate with a hint of something more. I’m not sure what, but it had my mouth watering.

“Hello there” he said, his voice deep and soft, like velvet.

He stretched his hand out for a handshake.

That’s when I grabbed it and threw him on the ground.
