"Can you believe it? Rick's back. He bought a house here in this Village."

I cannot believe. Shayne knew Rick?

The one who I bumped into yesterday?

It's so dejavu. Why can't I remember him. If she's telling me about him now, maybe we both know him before.

My eyes sparked as I had a bright idea.

"Who's Rick? Is that even his real name?"

"Oh.. I forgot.. Richard.. Richard Thompson. He's known as Rick now. He's famous. He had already been to a lot of places. Remember Richard back when we're College?"

"Richard..." Who’s Richard?

"Yes Richard! The one who confessed to you but then you dumped him because you're a man hater silly..."

My sight dimmed. I just want to puke right now.

"Th--That Rick couldn't be Richard. Richard wears glasses and he's too nice and---"

"Rease.." Shayne sighed. "Rick got rid of his eyeglasses. We’ve seen it on our graduation ceremony and everyone go crazy on twitter that day because of his looks. He changed. He also mentioned you on his graduation speech as our Suma c*m Laude.”

Yeah. I never want to talk to guys even before. I only want peace. I don't ever care because bullies don't know when to stop. I don't want to cause trouble with anyone.

"Richard saved me from a bully before but I can’t remember him mentioning me on our graduation ceremony. " I had to admit. I can’t remember him. I don’t even know that he became on top of our class. I can’t remember what happened the day we had our graduation ceremony. I don’t know why.

"He did? You must've been quite lucky."

"Lucky? But how?"

"Rick is a well-known part of the Marine Corps and he's also known as a gang leader in town."

I put my hands to my head.

"Gang leader?!"

One of my Mother's friends walk by holding drinks. I took one and drank it straight up.

"What's the big deal? Did you bumped into him yesterday and you talked and then you did not recognize him?"

I spit my drink.

"Yes!"

Shayne widened her mouth and I prepare myself for what she'll say.

"Rease?! What the heck?!"

Going back to reality, It's Saturday.

It's a brand-new day. 

It's still cold but the good thing is the sun is shining. I get up from my bed and head towards the sink. I wash my face off. I was about to close the cabinet and I saw the mirrors reflection. 

"Mom!" She's behind me. Ugh. "You surprised me. Ughh.." 

She hugged me tightly. 

"You're going to Shayne’s?" I nodded. "I heard that you're talking about a guy nearby. Don't do that again. It's bad. Gossiping is bad darling."

She tickled me. 

"Mom... You know me very well." She stopped tickling me. " I'm a good girl." 

"And..???"

"... And I'm about to take a bath. I have to hurry. Haha" I get out of the bathroom to ready my things. But then I forgot to tell something."... And I love you, Mom and Anne."

I was walking by the streets. Shayne's house is just a walk away. I bought the CD's that I regret buying. I know that she's not going to like it when she saw this. This weekend, I would like to watch horror films. But that wouldn't be necessary because Shayne's not fond of scary films. She's a scaredy cat. Too bad I already bought "The Ring" and "Warm Bodies." And I can't help but ask myself, "What am I thinking?"

As I was checking the CD's, I saw a man running from afar. 

"Oh… Who's he running from?" I whispered.

Then I saw another trying to get to him. The man looks like he's injured. There's a blood stain on his shirt. Oh. my. goodness. The man tripped. 

"Oh no. no. no" 

I was about to run to help the guy but then someone grabbed my shoulder. The hand is cold and it belongs to man.

"Hey!" I looked behind me.

"Hey, Rease." He put his hand at the back of his neck. "Where are you going?"

"Oh... Uhh. It's you Richard. I mean…Rick."

"You're not answering my question. Where are you going?" I started walking as he tag along.

"Going to my best friends' house." I looked at him straight in the eye. "How about you?"

"Why do you want to know?" He smirked.

"Because you asked me the same question. Would it be fair if you would answer me back?"

"It's a secret." He patted my head and I felt his warm hand. "See you around shorty." Then he walk pass by me.

"Hey!" I shouted, facing his broad shoulders. He just waved back at me. He's so annoying. 

"Rease!" Shayne hugged me. " Come in. Have some." I sat on their couch. She gave me a plate full of sweets. I grabbed a chocolate cake.

"About the CD's we're going to watch today.." I get my bag and pull out the CD's. " I know that you're not going to like it so, choose only one. " 

"The Ring? and Warm Bodies?!" She looked at me real intense as if she about to say something bad. Wait Rease... Think... Think of the proper words to say...

"Warm Bodies is a thriller comedy and romance film. I thought you would like it." 

"No ghost?" 

"No. But there are Zombies eating people." She cringed and put down both of the CD's. "Well. I know that you liked happy ending. They told me the ending was good."

She gets the CD and read the summary of warm bodies at the back. 

"Let's watch Warm Bodies, Rease." I looked at her like a maniac.

Well, I am as shocked as anyone in town when I heard those words. 

"Are you sure?" 

We put the CD inside the Itouch and we click on the large touch screen hologram to watch the movie. 

"Rebecca, Volume up" Shayne turned up the media volume unafraid of what's in the movie. She's gonna regret that later. I watched the movie for like five times. I know how the volume affects the whole movie. Sound effects are the worse when it comes to horror.

While watching, I definitely want to have ear plugs because I am so done with Shayne's unending scream. I think she's about to cry. It's definitely not a good choice of movie to watch if I'm with her but... I cannot contain my laughter. I found it funny. Sometimes she laughs, a lot of times, she cries.

The movie ended well as expected.
