Ansel I had been watching Elisa, and I knew she wasn't going to stay calm. I needed to do something before she broke down and did something she regretted. "Of course, you may take your woman. Sorry about separating you two for so long," Michael had said. He had a smug smile on his face. I wanted nothing more than to beat him to death, but I controlled my anger. I needed to remain calm and calculated for Elisa's sake. Michael walked away, leaving Elisa and me alone on the dance floor. I pulled her closer and swayed with the music while she kept her arms wrapped around my neck. "Are you okay?" I whispered as I held her against my chest. "No," Elisa said and rested her head on my shoulder. I felt her trembling slightly, and my chest tightened. I never felt like this about a woman before
