My beta showed up just as they were leaving as I turned to him
“What is it?” I asked.
“I just… I just had to show up to make sure you’re not making a terrible mistake. Alpha, I think you’re making a huge mistake going with these two as your workers.”
“Oh come on,” i scoffed. “Freya’s parents might have betrayed me in the past but right now they are paying for it as my slave. So, let me have this time using them however I want. And I will enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with it.”
But he shook his head. “Alpha, let’s not do this. They’ve already gone against your wishes in the past. This led to them being caught by Alpha Zac before they ran out of there. And they decided to come to you, who they betrayed in the first place.”
