Zac’s pov
I got to my office to see the elders there with Mark. I turned to Mark. “How about you give us a few minutes alone?”
“Alpha,” he said as I turned to him with a stern look on my face.
“When I want to talk to you, I will call you. For now just stay out there.”
He hesitated before leaving.
I turned to the elders in the room as I walked in with the atmosphere heavy with silence as I went to sit on my seat and waved the elders forward.
“Well?” I asked. “Where are your papers?”
One of them stepped forward. “Alpha, I know my actions have been wrong, but please, if you can just forgive…”
I held my hand up to stop him where he was. “How about you just drop the resignation letter that I told you to drop last night and be on your way? All of you.”
