By eleven Kitty came out of the second surgery and her face looked a little pinker. When she woke up, Jason and Zach were sitting together on a recliner in the room. Dr. de Loria said, “Since I’m the chief of staff at this hospital and I’m gay, there is no problem with PDAs here.” Jason was happy because he needed Zach to hold him.
Kitty had drainage tubes in her stomach and an IV, a catheter for her urine and a bag for her feces, and a tube through her nose into her stomach.
