CHAPTER TWO All day Friday, Gloria rushed around, finishing her chores in time to get to the airport to meet Aunt Beth. It was a long drive to the Miami International Airport, and the freeway was sure to be glutted with traffic. At two o'clock in the morning, the trip from Miami to the airport could take perhaps eighteen minutes. This afternoon, it took almost an hour and a half.
