After getting dress Jessica and Stephen walk into the kitchen.
"Good morning," her father said smiling at Jessica and
Stephen. As they sit at the table for breakfast
"Good morning," Jessica and Stephen said in unison.
"I should check on the doctor this morning," Stephen said looking at her
"Okay, we can go after breakfast. I will show you around. You already know Caitlyn and Sonja. Caitlyn is my Beta and Sonja is my Delta. Lee is Caitlyn Mate and Kyle is Sonja's." Jessica said looking at them.
"We can help you move if you need us to," Kyle said looking at Stephen.
"Thanks, how about around one," Stephen said looking at Kyle.
"Anytime you want to. It's good for us." Lee said looking,

"Who is that? " Harris asks looking and pointing at Stephen as he is walking into the kitchen.
"That is Stephen the Alpha's Mate," Sonja said smiling. She is looking at Stephen and Jessica talking.
"Her Mate? When in the hell did that happen?" Harris asks still looking at Stephen.
"Last night," Sonja said looking at Harris.
Everyone knew Harris has a crush on Jessica. But Jessica has never shown any interest in him.
"He's human," Harris said rolling his eyes at Stephen
"Yep, but he's still the Alpha's Mate," Sonja said looking at Harris.
Jessica heard what Harris said. So she stands up looking at Harris. "Stephen is my Mate. Everyone will show him the same respect you show me. If not I will kill your ass. I will not repeat myself." Jessica said looking at Harris.
"I have a feeling that he is going to be a problem. I will have to keep my eyes on him" Stephen is thinking, looking at Harris.
Harris walks out of the house.
"Stephen, was last night your first time seeing a werewolf? "
Her father asks looking at him.
"No sir, I saw one when I was seventeen. My parents and I were visiting here. The wolf changed into a young girl. She had long brown hair. It happened not too far from here." Stephen said looking at him.
"Son, we are family, you don't have to say sir to me. After all, we both are high ranks. Call me dad or father. In the human world, Jessica is your wife now." Jay said looking at Stephen.
Stephen looks at Jessica smiling, nodding his head. "Are you ready to go to check on the doctor? " He asks her
"I'm ready when you are." Jessica said looking at him.
"Well, then I am ready," He said smiling at her.
"We have a pregnant rogue in the dungeon. Can you check on her? " She asks Stephen
"Sure. It's she the one that was captured last night? " He asks looking at her
"Yes, she and her Mate." Jessica said As they walk into the pack hospital.
"Well Doc, you will be completely healed in another day or so.
It seems it wasn't a claw it was a knife wound. It had traces of silver, the knife was laced with something. I put it under the microscope but I have never seen anything like it before." Stephen is looking at the pack doctor
"Probably wolfsbane." Jessica said looking at Stephen then at
Doc.
"I have heard of it before, now since I know what it is, I will know how to treat it better," Stephen said looking at Doc.
"You gave me the right treatment for it. You are a good doctor. I heard that your the Alpha's Mate, we need another doctor around here." Doc said nodding his head.
"Thank you, I will check on you this later this evening,"
Stephen said
"Dr. Doug Martin this is Dr. Stephen Smith. But we all call him Doc." Jessica said smiling at Stephen.
"It is a pleasure to meet you," Doc said
"Same here," Stephen said looking at him.
"Doc is right your a wonderful doctor." Jessica said As they walked to the dungeon.
"I need to learn more about this wolfsbane. I want to make sure I'm doing everything right." Stephen said as they enter the dungeon.
"Damn, my Mate is smart. " She is thinking. "I'm Alpha Jessica this is my Mate Stephen and he's a doctor.
He's going to examine your Mate to make sure she's okay. What are your names? " Jessica said looking at the man and woman.
"Nelson and Jill. Thank you." Nelson said looking at Jessica
"fill, how far along are you?" Stephen asks as he examining
her
"Four months." She said smiling at her Mate.
"So we're looking at another month unless you go into labor early," Stephen said looking at Jill.
"He has been studying about werewolves." Jessica is thinking. She is impressed with her Mate knowledge of werewolves.
"I will need to see her in the hospital to do blood work and an ultrasound," Stephen said looking at Jill and Nelson.
"Nelson, Jill you two are welcome to join the pack. But if either one of you betrays the pack then both of you will die." Jessica said looking at the couple.
"Yes Alphas, thank you," Nelson said looking at Stephen then at Jessica.
"Thank you, we have a real home now. Thank you " Jill said smiling
Stephen nods his head and smiles at Jessica.
"Andrew, I need you to show them to a house. Tell Mona to help them settle in." Jessica said looking at Andrew
"Yes, Alpha," Andrew said nodding his head.
"I don't want Jill doing too much until I get an ultrasound.
Tomorrow morning come to the hospital at ten." Stephen said looking at Nelson
"Okay, thank you," Nelson said bowing his head.
"Look like you have a school and few stores here too,"
Stephen said looking at the buildings.
"Yes, and my favorite is the bakery. Those are the packhouses over there. Betas, Deltas, lead warrior, and their families live on the second floor. Mother and father on the third floor and then the fourth floor is where we live." Jessica said looking at him.
"I like that we have a floor to ourselves. A lot of room and privacy" Stephen said
"That is one of the things I like about it too. Mother and May cook for everyone in the house. But sometimes I just want to relax or have some peace. So I cook for myself." She said
"You said that you are in the hotel industry. Which one?"
Stephen said looking at her
"Yes, my parents are managing it for me. SBT." She said smiling
"Great hotel, my family and I have stayed there a few when we went on vacation, " Stephen said.
"Thanks. Alex is he, your friend, or relative?" Jessica asks looking at him.
"Friends, since we were kids. We were visiting his family when I saw the werewolf. He's not a werewolf, is he?" Stephen said
"No, he's human." Jessica said laughing
"Are you going with us when we go to move my things?" He asks wrapping his arms around her.
"Do you want me to come with you?" She asks smiling, wrapping her arms around his neck.
"It would be nice. I don't want to be away from you." He said looking at her
"Well, then I will go with you. I didn't want to be away from you either." Jessica said laughing. As they walk into the house
"So, Stephen are you going to keep working at the hospital?
"Jay asks him
"I haven't thought about that. I guess Jessica and I will have to discuss that." Stephen said looking at her
"Where were you at when you saw the young werewolf? "Jay asks. He wants to know more about his new son-in-law.
Close to Miller's pound. Do you know where that is?" Stephen said looking at Jay.
"Yes, I use to go to that pound all the time," Jessica said looking at him.
Jay and Angela are looking at the two of them.
"What do you remember about the girl?" Angela asks looking at him
"Not much besides her beautiful long brown hair. She was sniffing in the air, then she looked at me. I only got a glance at her face. Alex and some guys were walking up behind me talking. She shifted into a black wolf, ran away." Stephen said
"Son, I think that was your Mate, that's sitting right there.
You two have a strong bond. Most humans are weak for a day or so after the marking, you weren't" Jay said looking at Stephen
Stephen looks at Jessica and smiles
"Maybe that's why all day yesterday something inside told me to go movies with Alex. I don't usually go out with him." Stephen said
"Yesterday, Liberty told me that we were going to meet the love of our life. Last night she said if I didn't mark you right then she was taking over." Jessica said looking at her parents.
"Your wolf claimed him. He is your Mate." Angela said smiling looking at Jessica.
Lee and Kyle walk into the room. They are looking over at Stephen and Jessica.
"Alpha are you ready to go? " Lee asks Stephen, as he is still looking at him.
"Yea, we are ready. I appreciate you two helping me" Stephen said looking at Lee and Kyle
"Your welcome Alpha," Lee said smiling
"Why is he calling me Alpha?" Stephen asks Kyle but looking at Lee
"Because your the Alpha's Mate. You are second in change now. You are not a Gonon." Kyle said looking at him
"Oh, but you two can call me Stephen." He said smiling looking at Kyle. "I had no idea they would be calling me Alpha. But I guess he is right I am not a Gonon. This is going to a little time to get used to." Stephen is thinking.
"If you all need me. I will be with Stephen." Jessica said getting up to leave with Stephen.
He wraps his arms around her as they are walking out of the room.
"Okay, you all be careful." Her mother said smiling looking at them.
When they arrived at Stephen's house. Alex and several women are sitting in the living room. They are watching tv and drinking beer. A couple of women is almost naked.
"You finally decided to come home," Alex said looking at
Jessica, Lee, and Kyle.
"What are you doing here? " Stephen asks Alex looking around the room.
"Waiting on you. You have never been out all night. Unless you were working." Alex said looking confused at the boxes
"I was at Jessica's house. Babydoll, you want to start packing in the bedroom." Stephen asks her.
"Yea, sure." She said looking around the room at all the
women.
Stephen sees the way Jessica is looking at them. He notices her eyes are changing black.
"Babydoll, Alex, and his friends are leaving now, " Stephen said kissing Jessica's forehand and is rubbing circles in her back.
"Are you moving out? " Alex asks looking at Stephen.
"Yes, I'm moving in with Jessica," Stephen said taking pictures off the wall.
"Damn, this is moving fast, "Alex said smiling at Jessica.
"I told you when I meet my Soulmate I will know. Jessica is my Soulmate." Stephen said looking at Alex
"Yes, you have always said that," Alex said nodding his head
"We will drop the keys off before we leave," Stephen said looking over at Jessica.
"So I take it your not a virgin anymore," Alex whispers in
Stephen's ear.
But Jessica, Lee, and Kyle heard him. Lee and Kyle are shaking their heads. It's something about Alex they don't like.
"That is none of your business, " Stephen said as he is pushing
Alex out the door.
After the four have finished packing, and everything is loaded. Jessica and Stephen knock on Alex's door. They want to drop the keys off. Stephen had been renting Alex's parents' house.
They had moved to Florida.
Jessica is looking at the guns that Alex had in a gun cabinet.
The pictures of him and some men in hunting clothes and holding guns.
"Alex, I see that you love to hunt. What do you hunt?"
Jessica said looking at him.
"Deer, just about anything but mostly deer," Alex said looking at her.
"Oh, I see." She said still looking at the guns. Then she takes a good sniff of Alex's scents. She looks at Alex funny. "I have smelt his scent before." She is thinking
"We better be going, " Stephen said looking at her.
