Sullivan’s plan was, for lack of a better term, bonkers. Using the current group of Mountaineers to unlock the Book in the past sounded impossible—but putting that aside, it was also admittedly genius. The modern Mountaineers had proven themselves extremely capable, solving every puzzle that had come their way. The ’94 Mountaineers were clever, but there were significantly fewer of them, and they were more secretive than the current crop.
